@@mynameismud-qd9vu there work definitely has different levels of greatness totally agree but all in all I believe one of the better ore creative for sure bands that are still relatively fresh perfect example in my opinion would be highly suspect their last couple albums our trash in my opinion they might have a song or two that are decent but their first couple every song was fire! Imo

They're still outstanding. Saw them 2 weeks ago in Berlin. Only band i've seen that actually made german fans go completely bonkers
Seen them a few times and absolutely love them, I do wish they put a bit more into their performances or set design though. Their music perfectly fits a live gig which means they don't need it but it could make them even better.
They’re good live, yes, but most of these negative comments are more to do with Mike being a bit of a douche. There’s a lot of negative stuff out there about him as a person…

funnily enough they don't need to go to Mexico/ South America for that. I've seen them in Germany 2 days ago and they were the only live act ever where the whole crowd went absolutely bonkers. They're on a level where they can make (almost lol) every crowd fantastic
they actually did go to mexico and argentina but it would be cool to see them in mexico again apparently going to mexico and latin america was hevily anticipated by them but there was covid

They came here in Brazil on April, 16. And it's true. Mike almost didn't sing. We did it at his place.

I've been listening to their recent setlist on repeat as I'm seeing them at Huddersfield stadium this month with Muse. They're great.

The fact every tone u here is from a bass guitar with some very creative effects is simply amazing! Other then things like keyboard or other electronic effects all the string parts are from the bass guitar sounds obviously like a mixture of bass guitar an electric guitar ability to use effects to your advantage and not even need that extra member lol

I like royal blood too, but they have to recognise that at a festival like radio one big weekend it’s mainly pop and rap artists where the crowd aren’t there for a heavy rock band. Those gigs u just gotta play, accept ur fans aren’t present and move on. No need to be rude and up your own arse about one bad gig.

i keep forgetting there’s no guitar and it’s only a bass lol. it sounds like there is a guitar playing ha. it’s amazing what you can do with just a bass and drums. Mike plays bass like a guitar especially with them riffs he come up with.

Yeah that's the cool thing about Royal blood is that most of their songs are just the 2 of them, Mike kerr is the bassist and singer and then Ben Thatcher is the drummer, hope that helps 😊

Production really saves them, this just sounds so empty.
It's not production, it's his effect pedals, he has a splitter, a POG, and a load of other things that he had to work with in his garage, so they can pull off this sound.
When he plays one note, it's split into two, one is fuzzed and harmonised so that one sounds like a power chord, the other is driven higher.

If you weren't interested in any other acts you could have just gone to a Lewis gig and The crowds for NBT before royal blood were so dead and chanting"who are you?" To them. Massive disrespect to a band.

I enjoy Royal Blood and Rock is my favourite genre by a mile but this just sounds pretty flat to me, like I don't see the big fuss. Pretty generic tbh.
