Yes we’re moving to Ghana in about 2 years with our kids. Nothing will make me raise my kids in Amerikka!!! We visit Ghana twice a year for 3 months at a time and it’s always amazing and worth it. We will be in Ghana in a few weeks and we can’t wait! Yes I’ve heard about the increasing dumsor and even lights off at NICU 🤦🏾‍♀️ . Our move to Ghana is to be part of the development. We have a couple of thriving farming businesses in Ghana now, we also are building our clinic and autism center and have other businesses. The biggest goal is to build the biggest oncology hospital in Africa! Ghana is not for everyone but its perfect for me and my family ❤

2 years?!!💃🏾 You have patience 😅 but that must be exciting! Honestly that’s the best way to transition coming for 3 months bit by bit. Hmmm this light out situation is crazy honestly but it’s election year so it will stop very soon.
I agree it’s important for us to come home and be part of the change and development. Congratulations on your business honestly wish I started a pineapple farm when I moved here 😂 I’m defo coming to visit the clinic and autism centre. I’m praying that the Oncology Hospital comes to pass honestly we need it!

There is a reason why a lot of remote jobs in America are not allowing many of the remote workers to be outside the United States. Dumsor affects productivity. I know a lot of people are using VPN to hide their location so they can work but I do also know that my manager has fired a few employees who kept giving excuses of not being able to work because they have lights out . She was horrified that they kept saying their light were out and couldn’t work and when they were asked to bring a statement from COMED ( the electricity company in the US). They then realized they were not in America. So please make sure if you are a remote worker in Ghana, that you have some solid generator back up otherwise, don’t just do it. I love being in Ghana but before you move to Ghana, please prepare very well before you move to prevent frustration and blaming others for your unhappiness.

You know what’s crazy, I teach English online and I know South Africans are not allowed to teach because they used to have the same issue and it was too much so they stopped allowing tutors to to from there I’m just hoping and praying they don’t do that to us in Ghana chale 😩

7:39 you’re not crazy at all. These people should not be governing the country. Such a disgrace to the people who make the nation. It’s literally a sickness to think that way. I just learned about this Ghanaian Economist, named George B.N. Ayittey (now passed) who discusses this “sickness” in depth. Feels like more people should be talking about his studies and citing them…because the people deserve more and basic necessities and infrastructure like roads, electricity, transport, etc. affect everything! It’s not ok and corruption is destroying us. And agreed!!! We do not know what we have and it’s maddening!!!

I am physically and mentally drained from living here in amerikkka. We will be visiting Ghana in July and we do plan to move there within 3-4 months after that. I went to the Publix grocery store a few days ago to purchase organic tomatoes. 4 tomatoes cost me $10.65. My light bill here in Jacksonville, Florida is about $280 monthly along all other expenses which leaves us with a few dollars left to live on. We feel your pain Ghana, but just to have peace and freedom from the black suffering that we deal with on a daily bases here in the states, I think I would rather be in Ghana. Rise Africa!

You can only blame Ghanaians for voting for someone that, they shouldn't have voted for to mess up the country. If you have a minister who says to the people of a country that, it is not your right to have electricity, that statement itself could drive people out of the country.
