You've got to feel for Willi Wrangler mate, that bit of tug-along horseplay must have been hellish on the tackle; at least that dose of lead at 0:25 (nice take trooper) would have distracted him from the pain in the nutz lol. The grit 'n' spin from his Balkan bro catches the eye too, and it's ace to see that top Goon with his game face on as he looses-off some load at 0:28. The grimaced flinch 'n' hands-raised surrender from the Goonz' fanboy is nicely executed, and I fkn love the hit on the gruntz caught as they try and duck inside (with righty repeatedly giving his mate a guiding hand) at 0:38 (take a final bow on the left, and trooper right's on-the-toes pirouette before he staggers off is superb!!) I'd forgotten that cracking 'tug-on-the-Y's' spent-force offload at 0:50 - and check out the blast-torn arch at 1:15 after Mrs. Partisan gets perfect length 'n' line on the return of that Goon-delivered grenade with its sporting-chance fuse lol. Top-notch A - and I've never seen it look better!! Thanks for all the hard work mate - you're the best there is and I'll defo see you for Round #2!!

I'd have 'em on my mantelpiece any time given the chance, but I don't think they'd fit lol. The Fanboy dies like a good 'un right enough and there's no escape to their den for Herman and Otto at 0:38 (I noticed the "you go first" guiding hand too lol) and boy, they know how to take it lol. 0:50 was caught sleeping (permanently!) on the job and is treated with the contempt he deserved and Mrs P sure knows how to toss a stickie like a trooper (is that even possible, anything is these days lol) and yeah, that timer was definitely faulty ha ha! I've always loved this one mate so I'm well chuffed it's got through the dreaded block (for now anyway!) and as you know, there is much better to come down the line. I like your 'Goon Grey' thinking on interior design; it's such a solid choice - although they will cause a bit of a stink and knacker your flooring with those hobnails lol. Roter Rum would definitely have given me a better run for my cash than the 'also-ran' I selected in the 4pm at Aintree last Saturday, and poor Willi Wrangler's retirement to stud farm definitely looked far from certain after his drag act; I don't think the Partisans were thinking along 'this'll put lead in yer pencil' lines when they made their contribution though lol. 0:15's idea of kameradschaft leaves a lot to be desired (lol - I didn't notice him before), and you're a predictably sound judge fella - so I'm not at all surprised that load-letter 0:28 got the thumbnail slot. Yeah it was good to see the 'touchy-feely' side to Hermo 'n' Otto's doomed relationship (the 'take' on the right is top-notch) - and 0:50 getting grabbed by the Y's is a classic; I think it's best I let you have the last word on Mrs P's technique though lol. Yes, it's a terrific action packed movie! I once had edits of this film on my channel but they were blocked, but this was many years ago in the early days. Hopefully I will have better luck this time as there is so much in this movie for war movie fans!

Being a fan of westerns, it's nice to see a horse in a war movie. Lol. Did that guy intend to drive straight into the building, or did he go to the same driving school as me? I laughed when the woman casually picked up that grenade and wound up to throw it... little or no urgency. Lol.
I like how the other soldiers all just stand around when the guy's being dragged by the horse and no one makes an attempt to stop it lol. The guy did intend to drive into the wall, there's a soldier with an MG42 behind it and that was his way of stopping him dead - literally! Yeah, it's funny how these grenades never go off until thrown back 😁
It's a special type of grenade. We call it the 'plot armour grenade'. Only certain characters can pick it up and return it to it's rightful owners without fear of real time events.
