Easiest flip to land especially when going into an uneven landing. You can see when your feet are landing the whole way unlike Frontflips and backflips.

Fr I am a cross country runner and it is one of the most underrated sports. It takes a different level of hard work and you actually have to commit. It’s amazing.

Worst feeling ever is at the end of a race when you have 400m to go and everyone's yelling, encouraging you to run harder and you have no choice but to pretend like you aren't about to collapse while you pick up the pace
I love all of this. I remember doing something we called mud, sweat, and cheers and it was pretty funny to watch JVs race because they didn’t give a crap unlike the varsity team. JV was doing flips and crap and I had a high intensity screaming at the mud puddles. Ended up winning but some guys turned completely brown by the end and others lost their entire spikes and socks

As a XC runner, I feel their pain. It legit hurts after a race, your muscles are crazy sore and you’re breathing heavy for a while.
As a person in XC legit the sec I finished I fell and the assistants at the line barely held me up. Funny thing is during the race I never felt like just falling so the adrenaline 4 me is insane (I got 32 outta 250 so happy but shoulda got 20)

Cross country is the easiest if you ask me. Its all about pateince. Find your jogging speed and keep it there until its over. Its a race against your patience. Not the other racers.

As a cross country runner, the day must be really hot and they must be running a longer distance than I run (a 5K) because those people are super dramatic compared to what I’m used to seeing after a race. Also I wish there was a big puddle for me to leap in during a race :( That would be so fun
