    As a beginner lash artist, do you recommend a straight or curved isolation tweezer??

    • @LostArtistryLash
      @LostArtistryLash  Před 2 lety +3

      Tweezers are totally about preference - I definitely learned with a straight tweezer but once I tried curved I never went back. I prefer curved because it helps work around facial features! Here's the link to our Isolation Sunset Ultra lostartistrylash.com/collections/tweezers/products/isolation-tweezers-sunset-ultra Hopefully this helps!

    Nice. How long did it take for you to do that set?

      If it were a traditional, standard service appointment- probably 2 hours but because we filmed the process, it look almost 4!!! It’s so time consuming to filn

    What is a .15 -.18 lash extensions? I've never seen them?I'm about three weeks in the lash tech.im only doing classic sets when I have clients.can you make them full? People keep asking me to practice on them but I actually don't know what to tell them

    • @LostArtistryLash
      @LostArtistryLash  Před 5 měsíci

      That is the diameter of the extension! Weak natural lashes are suitable for diameter 0.15 and below, normal natural lashes are suitable for a diameter up to 0.18, and strong natural lashes is suitable for up to 0.20. We teach this more in depth in our Classic Lash Fundamentals course

      @@LostArtistryLash thank you because nobody never explain this to me about the up and low diameter so I'm doing classic set and still trying to get this correct and I learn it's not easy because they come off and I'm trying to find models in my area.

    How long should a set take?

    • @LostArtistryLash
      @LostArtistryLash  Před 2 lety +5

      There's no right answer to this!! Everyone works at different speeds, but as a beginner classic artist back when I was starting sometimes my sets would take 3 or even 4 hours. I made sure to keep great communication with my clients as to my timing so there were no surprises. Now I can complete a classic set in 2-2.5 hours :)
