    Hello I’m new to this channel and I’m curious if the two glues that you’ve used,which one works best and could you explain what’s the difference between the two? Thanks for this video 😊. Your doing a great job by the way! Please keep them coming. I’m really enjoying them!

    • @LostArtistryLash
      @LostArtistryLash  Před rokem

      I can 100% send you a video explaining the difference between all of our adhesives if you like? But generally speaking, it comes down to your environment and your lashing speed. May I ask the general temp + rH in your room and if you are a new artist or a super experienced one? ♥️ this will help me lead you in the right direction! Speaking generally though, our slower cure time glues would be Invisa bond (clear), Sensit eyes (less cyano), cyano free (NO cyanoacrylate at all) - these are all perfect for beginner artists or those who are slower at lashing. Our intermediate glue (the one that works for just about anyone at any level) is Bondage and our advanced adhesives are quickie and bondage pro!! All wonderful. It really just comes down to you and your personal lashing requirements :)
      Check them out at www.lostartistrylash.com - we ship globally everyday :)

    besides going with your own comfortability , how do you know when your ready or when should i start to lash my first human client lol. also as a beginner what type of sets or mapping should i stick to for starting out .

    • @LostArtistryLash
      @LostArtistryLash  Před 4 měsíci

      Hii thank you so much for your question! 🥰 Once you feel comfortable with isolation, picking up your extension, glue dipping etc Id say you are ready to lash a model! As for mappings, the 3 most common are "Open eye" (longest length is in the middle) "Cat eye" (longest length on the outer corners) and "Squirrel/Kitten eye" (an in between of open and cat eye, so your longest length is at the arch of the eye brow) I also suggest having .12 classics on hand for clients with weaker natural lashes. These are just the basics, there is so much more! If you ever have questions, reach out to us on our Instagram via dm. We're happy to answer any questions you have or just chat lashes! 🤎

    How long should a classic, or a mixed set take? I am a beginner and my first time took about 4 hours, the 2nd maybe 3 hrs, 3rd about 3. I thought I was improving.. then my 4th went back up to 4 hours bc she kept blinking and flickering and Im not sure but she may have been sensitive because she was tearing up a little but I believe its bc she kept opening her eyes, even getting on her phone and her lower lashes kept sliding out of the eye pad and getting stuck to the top! It was the nightmare client.

    • @LostArtistryLash
      @LostArtistryLash  Před 2 lety +7

      Hi there! This is a question we get often - Truth is that a lot of pressure is put onto artists about timing. I believe that there are no specific rules to timing and especially in the learning stages the focus should be on executing the set and practicing your craft rather than focusing on timing. Every once in a while we do run into troublesome clients, and all we can do is learn how to combat these issues and educate our clients on our service expectations!1 You're doing great so far 💕
