Great instructional video, BUT...I wish you'd have used a dark cape on this light hair. It was very hard to see you making the cuts against the white cape.
the cape, background and hair dryer were white
@Tadeo Johnny is scam bro
@@serapia1976 Plot: Tadeo is part of the scam😳....
😂😂😂
Lol, my mom sent this to me to cut my MOMS hair. Wish me a good luck!x
lmao same imma do it in a few minutes and looking for tips. Goodluck!
As am I
Omg same, I have to cut my mom's hair lol
Same but I went to Paul Mitchell school and graduated a year ago never touched hair since so I forgot how to lol
I'm cutting my mums hair in a few minutes lol
A current cosmetology student and I’m glad I found this video because if looks similar to what my teacher taught us.
Glad it was helpful!
That head tilting after drying and cutting off graduations is what I needed to know. Been cutting my daughter's very long, extremely thick hair for years and no matter how careful I was, I always ended up with those scruffy edges underneath. Going to cut it today and do what you did. Hopefully i won't mess it up. :) Thanks so much for making this.
How’d it go I’m cutting my daughters hair for the first time
straight blunt cuts are so satisfying to watch
thanks for this - my husband has loooong native american rockstar hairdo and it's got all ratty at the ends. I followed your instruction and gave it a good cut. It's a bit shorter than he'd like but I've finally won the war. Now he looks like a 32 year old man, not a 15 year old chick. Much love and thanks X
An amazing and simple to folkin tutorial. I am a student hair dresser and have learned a lot from you. Thank you🤗
Thank you for this! My daughter's hair was very long and I used your video as my guide. I'd never cut hair before, but it went so well, she was pleased and we will definitely use it again!
You are so welcome!
I love how you blow the hair. Can you tell me how you train your power without making them pain?
Very long but it’s nice and detailed I guess. I like the ending where she finishes the cut with a nice clean trim 👍🏻👍🏻
Thank you soo much. Because of you my first client went with happy face. Gratitude for you
Gosh she had so much hair! Amazing!
Excellent, great for cutting in lockdown x
I was mesmerized, very nice video. I thought to myself, halfway through, "Wow, I like the beautician's hairstyle the best!" The beautician has a beautiful hair color and style. So thumbs up from me, for the beautician's hair.
Thank you! 😃
Just starting my barbering apprenticeship and beginning solid form on long hair this week. Thanks for your video!
How is the apprenticeship going?
Finally a brilliant tutorial exactly wat I was looking for Thanku x
this video is so satisfying i couldn't stop watching
Thank your your the only one. Taking your time and show us nice clean cut !
A very nice video, but I have a big question… You only cut the hair from behind, but if my client (or me) puts all of the hair on the chest and leaves nothing on the back, it’s mostly a very diagonal line that gets longer towards face…
Yes! That’s because some of us, clients, want a straight line across the back. We don’t want any V or U neck. So that’s a normal and expected thing
Omg i was having trouble figuring out if the girl was actually a girl or a doll head with hair but then i saw it blink.
“It” 🤣🤣😂🤣😂
🤣
Girl.. she have ears and eyelashes
@@pascalejeann well there’s mannequins that have ears and eyelashes too lol
Hello! amazing tutorial! thank you! Can you tell me what size your schissor is?
Hi I use a 6 inch scissor.
thanku for dis video 😁
now i knew how 2 cut my girlfrnds long hair..she's always asking/telling me to cut her hair 🤣
Ok, I'm ready to cut my daughter's hair now😁. Very nice tutorial!!!!!!
Isn't the head to be tilted forward when cutting the guide??
Great tutorial! Clearly and accurately explained!
I am trying to learn how to cut my girlfriend's hair and the 1st background song was kind of wack, but that second song was groovy.
the song is the most importen one... not you girlfriends hair
docdmj 😂
I am totally here for this comment
I love how that’s what your paying attention too 😂
LMAO this is killing me
What would happen if I did a point cut before blow drying ??
There was A LOT of graduation to fix once you blow dried her hair. How come??
My model had lots of hair and this why it is important to always blow dry and check your work.
@@MIGTrainingChannel That didn't explain why it happened.
Ruth, the stylist cut the models hair while the model was looking straight forward. This means that if the model tilts her head down the top layers raise up and show the bottom layers underneath. The stylist then cut them off so the model wouldn't have to worry about an uneven bottom layer.
How come you didn't get the client to tilt her head forward throughout the cut??
@@cudseybearforeverx7676 if she cut the hair straight across while the hair was tilted forward, the line would have curved up at the ends. I assume the client wanted a straight line. Guessing where the line should be and cutting the ends curving down while her head was tilted would not have guaranteed a straight line once the head was straight.
If the client just wants a clean one length look, then a much more time efficient method would be to just straighten the hair first, then use a trimmer to cut a blunt line into the hair. Without sectioning. You get the same end result in far less time.
Excellent, thank you! ❤️
It would be nice to see thick hair cutting tutorial. My daughter has 4x the thickness she does. I am messing her hair up. 😞
I can't figure out how did she cut the sides, hair by the air? Did she brush it back to even out with the reference guideline at the back, since @10:09 it shows her cutting at the back, not on the side of her arm. It feels like that must be wrong, since the hair is moved away from it's natural fall. Will that create a graduation on the sides. SOS! I need to explain to my mum, as she's about to cut my hair :)
Love the way u cut hair.
I am trying to learn how to
cut my husband's hair.
He can't go to the barber cuz
of Corona.
chrissy Merchant lol me too... attempting to cut my mums today because of corona
@@carlamitchell5944 omg same
How do you cut the pieces of hair in the front of the head that isn't long enough to reach the back?
This technique is usually combined with face shaping technique. Stay tuned for this video coming soon.
You don't
Thank u very much
Very nice and perfect
I tried this method on my daughters very long hair. I struggled, I have never cut hair before. It looked super easy on the tutorial. Her hair is extremely thick, kept losing the guide line. Suppose it didn't help that I used dressmaking scissors, don't have any hair dressing scissors.
how'd it work out ? next time make sure it's wet/conditioned/sectioned & each section held w/clips and simply work from the back to establish your guide, unclip another back section-use what was just cut as the guide-work around the sides unclipping each section left side then right side--take your time-- and how my own hair is,it's NOT dead straight and must have a sight amount of tension when cutting it-most hair cutters don't know this unless THEY are Dominicans,Cubansetc etc--cutting it the way this video is showing it will result in one inch off winding up in reality w/2-3 inches off as the natural wave & "texture" LOL are released.
NOW i'm gonna hunt around in here for about 4 clips and always use nice sharp dollar store shears--they work fine and for doing it alone, you get a larger area cut straight.
When my daughters were kids,i loved to do their long hair and keep it clean, healthy and in shape. I learned LOL.
So relaxing 😌 to watch
Glad you enjoyed it!
Would this work on curly hair?
Great Vid..what is the name of the scissors you are using?
This looks so good! I don't have anyone at home to cut my hair. I'd like to know how to cut my own long hair one length at home. I can do layers, but I don't want them any longer.
That was very easy!
Hi i have thin hair this haircut is perfect for me
Beautiful job
Great haircut!
Thanks!
My daughter has thick hair. Is this a good technique for thick hair cutting?
Hi, with thick hair make sure you take very small sections. Thick hair can be tricky. Good luck.
Very nice very need and clean your work Ma'am
some people do have different textures of hair type in the nape. Mine is shorter at the nape and the rest of the crown hair is super longer. How to cut such hair types to get a fuller look?
Why did she take sections to cut it but then at the end just freehand cut it I’m so confused! I’m prob overthinking it
Thanks, helpful tutorial for cutting my daughter's hair during the pandemic.
Glad it was helpful!
Nice
May i ask where you bought the cape? I need a white cape. Thanks!
Is this cape a specific brand?am looking to find one like this, white, long enough, colar that fits and fine material but apparently it's not so easy where i come from..Where can i get one?
Polis Christodoulou Hi we are a school here in Australia so we are very lucky and have many contacts. I’m not to sure where you might be able to source one. Sorry
13:40 cut any graduation off
Initial guideline this word I like. Very long didn't use this word to cut hair
Hi which haircomb was used here
This beautician cutting her hair is good I need somebody like this to do mine every time I go to the salon I say I want a one length haircut I want to get rid of my layers they act like they don't understand what I'm saying this is exactly how I want my haircut I love how she's doing the sectioning and she's cutting straight across so it's going to look nice and full one length .when I go to the salon they don't make those sectioning or those parts they don't even section my hair they just cut it with the scissors that's it I need to find somebody to go to.
Perfect
Thank you so much mam
I’m watching because my partner has asked me about 5 times now to cut her hair 😰
Same. Good luck lol
Perfecto ❤
Excellent
To the haters in the comments this is the professional way to cut hair lol doing it this way means you can make sure everything’s straight and looks right
Well first of all she doesn't show how to cut the sides and second of all in the end it's uneven
Thank you
Thanks
Can you do this haircut on dry hair. Like I mean do you have to wet it??
when you wet the hair it sticks together allowing u for a more precise cut. I would stay away from dry cuts on hair this long :) result would be very uneven, or making the process harder/longer
Well said Filip.
Adding water helps straighten the hair also so that if there is even a slight wave it won’t effect the cut
Also wetting the hair gets the hair to its full potential length
shanubhoganahally hey wt b&b
nice mem
So Nice ❤
How is the front not longer then the back if you overdirected it to the back guide? I was always told to go with its natural fall and connect the back to the side instead of bringing it to the back.
Hey , yeah your right however I find this is the best way to stop the sides from rounding up. So many ways to cut hair.
Did you cut the top section or you skipped the top layers ?
nice hair
Yeah she has beautiful hair.
You didnt show how to cut last 2 sections. At one point you just merged them all into one....
Literally
Thank you! I was just about to cut my moms hair! She trusts a 10 yr old .-.
Thank u dear 💜
OMG I tried cutting one length hair today like this and my boss freaked out and said why are you pulling the side hair back to me. She showed me her way and it looked totally wrong...
If you pull the hair back it’s over extended and ends up longer at the front. Should just work your way round the head x
Your boss was correct. You never ever ever bring hair back from the front, that's why this lady had so much left to trim once it was dry. Don't copy this tutorial!
8:03-8:40 sometimes it's the hand one blocked and one unblocked
So cant we have client's head bent from the beginning of the cut?
Polis Christodoulou Yeah we teach both this is just one technique from a million.
What about if she wears it with a side part?
I thought at some point the client needs to look down and that is why I'm watching these videos as I'm trying to find out when that is because in the beginning of the haircut as of what I think I've been taught and that doesn't feel right.
Why does she cut palm up on the left hand side but palm down on the right had side?
Can I use these same steps on short hair?
sure can
Very nice blow dry
Gonna give my sis a haircut , wish for me some luck
Doing the same in 2 minutes lmao
A como dura corrtele y despuntele horas
13:44 skip here and do what she does instead of doing all the stupid layering, youre gonna get the same result
why is it that we have to section the hair at the back instead of cutting it all the same length?
Nice 🙂👌👌👌👌
Thanks 😊
This started off really good and the end was a disaster. Very uneven. I’m confused
Exactly very uneven
Firstly her head wasn't tilted downwards, it's sat straight this creates an uneven cut. Secondly you don't pull the hair back for the sides you cut around the head... this is why it's uneven x
She should have had none to cut in the middle when she started pulling the hair from the side!
More to it than I thought
👍👍👍🌺🌺🌺
👌🏻💇♀️
Sorry, but it looked longer on one side and a lot of graduation to fix
I agree
Yep
No it doesnt looks perfect maybe fix your computer lol
I thought it was just me.
It looks straight until she blow dry her hair n asked her to bend down her head.
I need a trim and I like a blunt cut
why we need to section if you can cut all
Everything is easy from the back, but you did not show the front. What should we do at the front?
صدط
Using your fingers causes loss of 0 degree tension
It sure does, we teach both cutting through the comb and fingers depending on what salon the students come from.
Ha!!! Yeah RIGHT!!
Why not in one cut?
I would imagine you could do it if the hair is super thin, but if you were to cut it in one cut it would be choppy and not cute. Especially if the hair is thick or has a lot of density
Elizabeth Elias this just happened to me how do we fix it
it looks wonky?
‘Cut any graduation off’
In other words, she’s done the haircut wrong.
It’s because you ALWAYS have your client tilt their head down while doing a haircut service to ensure you’re not graduating lmao she def didn’t do that so bad to correct it
Oof agreed
She don't show cutting the sides
