  • As the cultural narrative around mental health has evolved in recent years, we are being encouraged to talk about what troubles us, everywhere we turn. This lecture will explore why this is important, how talking helps, and what happens when we find a way though words or through the Arts, to turn experience into story.

I cannot recommend this talk highly enough, it has done wonders for me. Thank you,
Tony. Great we get to hear it even though unable to attend university!

Really interesting lecture. I bet you have eased much suffering and assisted many humans. Yes, talking can only ever be a 'crust of the meaning'. You're right Tony, we all need art. We all need access to art. It is cathartic. You've inspired one maggot to write another essay. Hopefully, it can be kept offline and get published!
