- Jesus explained that world events would be tied to Jerusalem in Matthew 24, where Jesus also saw a Jewish Temple rebuilt and was part of the Tribulation events.
So for this Temple to be built (that Paul, John, and Daniel also saw prophetically, with Christ), something must have happened during the “times of the Gentiles” (Luke 21:24). That may be what we are seeing happening all around us in the world events touching upon the Nation of Israel.
Are we Living for Heaven Today?
As He taught on the End of Days, Jesus revealed that all of the magnificent buildings of Herod would become rubble. . . and that nothing on earth ever lasts; but Jesus came to His disciples with an offer of something they could become a part of that never ends.
Open to Luke 21:36 with me to see Christ's application on prophecy, this is before we even look at our study tonight.
“Watch therefore, and pray always…” (Luke 21:36)
Pray is the word for beg, implore and beseech, it is an intense word! It was used after the chapter filled with prophecy and end times. Jesus was asking us:
What are you intensely asking (begging) God to be doing through your life that will last forever? That is what should most be on our hearts as we study a prophecy. Not whether our view is perfect and every detail is what will happen, it is whether we are living for what really matters!
One of our challenges as students of the Bible is to study & search the Scriptures, seek to come to Biblical conclusions, and then wait.
We are called to do what the Lord left us to do, and not to spend all of our time speculating about what every possible news event has to do with the prophecies.
God is watching over His Word, He will perform it, and we are to be found faithfully doing what He left us to do!
Turn with me to Psalm 83. Tonight we start with the Confederacy of Hate, a group of nations that seek Israel, but that never existed contemporaneously, ever in history. Yet God's Word says they together seek to destroy Israel and end up like whirling dust.

Christ is the new Israel. All who believe whether Jew, Gentile, slave or free, are all one in Christ Jesus.
Please explain where God said his promises are for "new" Israel? He actually says just the opposite. He will fulfill his promises to Israel for His name sake despite their failure. Pretty hard to apply that to Christ.
@@ML-vk8ev The new covenant. Jesus Christ is the mediator of the New Covenant, and His death on the cross is the basis of the promise (Luke 22:20)
@@tarekog7762 I'm quite aware of the new covenant. Does God cleanse the iniquities of Christ and put a new heart in him? Please explain the promises to Isreal in Ezekiel 36:26-37. This is only a small sample of the promises yet to be fulfilled to Isreal.

Who would have thought that obedience was a key to God's prophetic word. Not obedience to interpret and obey the prophecy but obedience to God's already revealed word so that others will be saved from His wrath to come.

@Goodnews-b6t That is the sinners prayer. It is not recommended to say anything to God. Simply overcome the flesh and it's desires and lust. Call for the High Priest-- Christ, ask him to come into your temple and be reconciled to him. See and follow what Christ did after his baptisms. He went into the wilderness and overcame his flesh.

Who had two times, a cut off time, and we are now in the midst of a week of an image of his time?
Who removed three kings in 29 days of 2011 in Egypt, Libya, and Tunisia?
Why were Jews and Israel promised safety in both his times and the cut off time per Revelation 12:14-16?

Physical temptation (the body): Satan offers Jesus food, but he refuses as he knows the Lord will provide his daily bread (Matthew 4:3-4).
Emotional temptation (the mind): Satan challenges Jesus to jump off a temple if he’s truly the Son of God, but Jesus remains still because the Lord shouldn’t be tested (Matthew 4:5-7).
Control temptation (the heart): Satan offers Jesus power over all the kingdoms of the world, but Jesus refuses because he will only worship God (Matthew 4:8-10).

Yes, the number of global disasters has increased over the last 50 years. Gods time is different from our time and Earth's birth pains can last for awhile but have recently increased, Canada not long ago was engulfed in flames and the US covered in smoke, there have been record breaking fires in other countries as well... we have people rioting in the streets and confused people believing that God made a wrong decision in their sexual identities... God created you, He created you a certain way for a reason...

On the night of Nov 1st 2023 just under a month after Israel was attack i had a vision of Gods Throne. I walked into my kitchen facing the west while fully awake. The holy spirit entered my body. My arms stretched wide open, then my hands came together in prayer and I fell to my knees and my eyes closed. (I wasnt controlling my body) I first saw a whirlwind of clouds orange and red in color, and once i passed through all i could see where blue eyes and behind them was unto the likeness of burning coals. Then I looked above them and saw a crystal like firmament and above it was a great light 10 times brighter than the sky and through the firmament shown rainbows throughout His kingdom. I began to cry please take me Lord, please take me! My fiancee heard me from the upstairs bedroom and came down and moved the blanket inbetween the livingroom and kitchen and saw me on my knees face down with my hands over my head and my feet crossed speaking in tounges. At that same moments the vision ended and i looked to see her and she hide herself behind the blanket scared. I then embraced her and told her what I saw.

You really scared me and gave me new insight when you said buy a Joel Osteen book - I do believe Joel is an encourager but he is NOT a preacher. I would not purchase a Joel Osteen book. But each to their own.
That took me off guard also. Joel Osteen is a false teacher.
It was a dry humor. He was actually challenging people to either buy a Joel Osteen book OR buy instead Hal Lindsey's book on prophecy.
Maybe he was referring to Joel Osteen Sr. He was also a minister and I hear he was a much better preacher than his son but I can't speak on it more than that as I've never heard him preach.
That reference to Joel Olstean also put me on guard to make sure I am listening to a reputable preacher.

In the KJV, in Psalms 83:18, where you read 'Lord' the proper name of God 'Jehovah' is found. It is translated from the tetragrammaton.
Exodus 3:14 And God answered Moses, I AM THAT I AM. Also he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.
God himself calls his own name, repeated back to Moses I AM.

@@InTheGarden1960 While guy guys are in disagreement about the name, in the English translation of the Bible, often you will see the name of God written as LORD. The Hebrew word is written in English script as HWHY, and is pronounced „Jehovah‟. It means “I AM.” So, both of you are somewhat correct.

This passage says Mary Magdalene arrived at the tomb when it was dark and the tomb was empty, making a Sunday Sunrise Resurrection Scripturally impossible.

New Covenant Whole Gospel: How many modern Christians cannot honestly answer the questions below?
Who is the King of Israel in John 1:49? Is the King of Israel now the Head of the Church, and are we His Body? Who is the “son” that is the “heir” to the land in Matthew 21:37-43? Why did God allow the Romans to destroy the Old Covenant temple and the Old Covenant city, about 40 years after His Son fulfilled the New Covenant promised in Jeremiah 31:31-34 in blood at Calvary?
What the modern Church needs is a New Covenant Revival (Heb. 9:10) in which members of various denominations are willing to re-examine everything they believe and see if it agrees with the Bible, instead of the traditions of men. We need to be like the Bereans. It will be a battle between our flesh and the Holy Spirit. It will not be easy. If you get mad and upset when someone challenges your man-made Bible doctrines, that is your flesh resisting the truth found in God's Word. Nobody can completely understand the Bible unless they understand the relationship between the Old Covenant given to Moses at Mount Sinai and the New Covenant fulfilled in blood at Calvary.
God is not now a “racist”. He has extended His love to all races of people through the New Covenant fulfilled by His Son’s blood at Calvary. The Apostle Paul warned against using “genealogies” in our faith in 1 Tim. 1:4, and Titus 3:9.
What brings all local churches together into one Body under the blood of Christ? The answer is found below.
Let us now share the Old Testament Gospel found below with the whole world. On the road to Emmaus He said the Old Testament is about Him.
He is the very Word of God in John 1:1, 14. Awaken Church to this truth.

Once a person comes to understand the New Covenant promised to Israel and Judah in Jeremiah 31:31-34, which is found fulfilled by Christ during the first century in Hebrews 8:6-13, and Hebrews 10:16-18, and specifically applied to the Church in 2 Corinthians 3:6-8, and Hebrews 12:22-24, man-made Bible doctrines fall apart.
Let us now learn to preach the whole Gospel until He comes back. The King of Israel is risen from the dead! (John 1:49, Acts 2:36)

The church at which he is preaching would recognize immediately that Osteen is a false teacher, and know that is not intended to be actual advice.
It is true we should be vigilant but not to the point that we worry about it and let it distract us from strengthening our relationship with God. Jesus said we should seek the kingdom of God first.

I think about Matt. 24:32 Did the the branches get tender with the birth of modern Zionism and the leaves start to come out on May 14, 1948? If so then the generation that saw that happen will not pass away until these prophecies are complete. At least that's one interpretation. It's the one I believe.
So then consider this. Let's say a child was born on May 14, 1948. Let's say that he has a younger brother that was born 20 years later. That would be 1968. A 20 year age difference between siblings is rare but not unheard of. My older brother is 17 years older than me. Now, those two kids are certainly of the same generation correct? They have the same parents don't they? The younger brother is now 56. It's reasonable to think that he my live to be 90 and that means he'll still be alive in 2060. So it's completely reasonable to assume that generation that saw the rebirth of Israel, which is the generation that saw the leaves start to come out, will still be alive in 2060. Jesus told us that nobody but the Father knows the hour or the day. But he didn't say we couldn't figure out the century and this is the century.
