Domestic Violence - Short Film

Most people think domestic violence is physical abuse. Unfortunately though, it comes in many forms. The most common form of domestic violence is emotional abuse and control.
While this film depicts a male inflicting a form of domestic violence known as economic control over his female partner, it's important to remember domestic abuse happens across all demographics and genders.
There are many cases where males are the victim and this need to be addressed also. However the percentage of female victims is far greater, hence the depiction of the female victim in this film.
Take a stand against all forms of domestic violence.

This film was produced for Sutherland Shire Family Services' "Pull Ya Head In" domestic violence awareness campaign. The campaign films, which have organically (with no media spend whatsoever) amassed over 1.5 million views and continues to grow as people around the world find and discover what the breadth of Domestic Violence really looks like.
