Without splitting that coil it's impossible to get it clean when its very impacted. The only way is to split the coil. It's really not that dangerous you just pull them apart a little and spray down in-between them.

Part of my job as the FM was to replace 30 filters every month. The 10 roof units needed to be replaced twice a month.
I can just picture the lady working at the desk below the rooftop unit just hearing Mikey screaming for his CZcams channel lol
Now we at talking my kind of work here ! I love my commercial jobs $$$ residentials OK but I make the majority of my money in the commercial sector but I will do the residential … I don’t like to split the coils on my units I service But ……… if the unit has not been serviced for 4-5 years??? 99% of the time their is not an option not to split it😡😤 but you would think?? The manufactures engineers would’ve thought about cleaning the evaporator coil‘s and not soaking the people down below 😮 I have said for years it’s bad engineering… . But I am thoroughly impressed.❤ exceptional good job cleaning the condenser coil an e vap coil
Take the back panel off. Install it in that opening and screw it in. It’s used to convert to side flow. But it keeps it dry downstairs while you clean it. Do it all the time with this units.
Nice to see you do some light commercial. You should really split the coils. All the years I’ve been doing commercial/industrial a/c I’ve been splitting coils cus manufactures say to do so. I haven’t had any leaks ever.
Wow I'm learning a lot about filters. The maintenance person must not know they need to change them.
I found that using the nu cal coil gun wand helps clean the evaporator coil a lot easier especially those York that go deeper the wand reaches back there
@@PipeDoctor also helps with the bigger Trane’s or Aaon’s to get in there that wand is amazing
On those types coils. I found wet the bottom up. The water will follow itself. Tech tip
Just my two cents but there will be crap between the rows of the condenser coil and there's no way you're getting all of that out without splitting the coil. Also, I find it much easier to take the blower wheel out when cleaning it on mini splits, it really doesn't take that much time. If you miss some spots when cleaning it (which is actually really easy to do the way you did it) it will vibrate like crazy on the wall and might eventually crack the blower wheel. I've seen it happen multiple times.

I've felt it a few times. It tickles a little. Almost every time was when I was sweaty and find out that the low voltage wires were still live 😂😂

It’s sad but business especially don’t really care about the ac all they care about is if it’s working or not they neglect all of there systems because 9 times out of ten the owner is not there and the tenants are just renting. Measure quick has a new system out where you install these sensors and it will alert the owner when there’s a problem it’s awsome.

The people that spray painted that on the unit was upset they couldn't find a lineset to chop off. Talk about doing a fine professional beautiful job on a walk-in freezer to have to come back 5 days later on a no cooling call with ice cream and food product melting away to find that some tweakers stole the line set and you have to charge this customer more money to re-run a new one....Just to have it and the protective sleeve stolen a week later.
