This episode is really beautiful especially Itachi’s last moments. I remember how as a kid, itachi would use his fingers and poke sasuke’s forehead all the time. And during his final moments, I thought he was going to do that as well. But it really caught me off guard how instead of poking sasuke’s forehead and saying “maybe next time” like he always does, he grabs sasuke by the back of the head, he touches his forehead with his forehead, and his final words were “ no matter what you do from here on out, I will love you always”. I cried, just great writing in my opinion.

If you think about it from Madara's perspective, he is a shinobi from an extremely bloody era before the village system was created that excelled beyond all during his era, besides Hashirama. He doesn't agree with the village system and he is basically stuck in the past so the 5 kage being the personification of the village system basically are like mortal enemies to him. So for all the mocking and talking down he does during this fight he is justified in doing so completely. The entire village system is a joke to him and so are the kage.

What Itachi went through hits different but hits even more different when you realize he was 13 when he had to kill basically everyone he loved. For context Naruto and Sasuke were 13 during the chunin exams. Now imagine if you had Naruto or Sasuke in that position and it really shows how great Itachi is. Not only was 13 year old Itachi stronger than shippuden naruto and sasuke but he was also more mature and went through a lot more shit.

It's funny, no one ever seems to notice that after Madara's talk about what happens when a reanimated shinobi casts 'Reanimatiton Jutsu: Release', he doesn't even weave the right signs. The signs he weaves are for 'Ninja Art: Summoning Jutsu'; he even did the palm slam that's supposed to be the origin point of the jutsu formula. But secondly that point still doesn't work because DBZ characters have demonstrated the ability to resist illusions since dragon ball. And also because they have the ability to sense their opponents outside of their 5 senses. And also because they speed blitz a naruto character before they even have the chance to cast it if they're serious. And if you wanna get cheap with it, DBZ characters can kill Naruto characters from so far away that they can't even fathom there was an enemy around ;).
According to the Original story, not the nonsense that the anime was invented, the Izanagi was a technique that can only be used if you have both the Senju and the Huchiha chakras, so where does that story of the Izanagi and Izanami come from? There is if the author smoked it, and then the explanation that the anime tried to give was the most stupid, (the story invented by the anime was the flash back about Izanagi and Izanami). Itachi's father, Fugaku Uchiha, was very powerful, in fact Itachi feared a confrontation against him, what Itachi did not know is that Fugaku already knew about Itachi and the Leaf Village and it was already decided that if he faced his son would. Not to fight him, the last thing Fugaku wanted was to face one of his sons. In fact, something that many ignore is that Fugaku was more experienced and more powerful and had more important military and political achievements than Minato, during the application to Hokage, Minato received more publicity and more emphasis was placed on Minato's achievements. because for the high command of Konoha Minato he was more manipulable, because he was younger and less experienced than Fugaku. In Itachi's novel, in the real one, not in the shit that will happen later in the anime. The Huchiha clan's problem against the village is much better described. If they saw it, they would see with different eyes the third Hokage, the most useless old man in the history of the Kages, practically because of his uselessness everything that led to the extermination of the Huchiha clan happened. And not only that, practically all the development that the History that we are seeing.
I read the novel and Fugaku was shitting his pants thinking how much his 13 year old son is so much more powerful than he is. Dude didn't even have a Mangekyo it's anime b.s. to hype him. Even Shisui thought he could and even Itachi could beat Fugaku if they fought alone.

I was never a fan of Madara, so when he stopped the cancelation of the reanimation jutsu, I was HEATED.
He didn't cancel the reanimation he is still a reanimated they messed up in the animation and fixed it later episodes so that he still reanimated he basically reanimated himself back I'm surprised by how many people dont know this but yall didn't actually watch the show
