Tips for Ryan: The Angler(s) Edition
There are five versions of The Angler, that being the normal one(Angler), the grey one(Blitz), green one(Chainsmoker), pink one(Pinkie), and the brown one(Froger, the one you died to twice.)
I will now briefly explain what each do, since each function similarly but have different behaviors..
The Angler will make the lights flicker and rush through similar to Rush from Doors, easy to deal with.
Froger will rush through and then return like a boomerang, except he will come back one more time very late to catch you off guard, so when he goes away after the first two sweeps, get out of the locker to recover your sanity, then stick by your locker and listen to his oncoming return.
Pinkie will NOT make the lights flicker, and is the only one that does not. You will only be able to hear her, and she can be faintly heard from a good distance, giving you a lot of time to hide in a locker.
Blitz will make the lights flicker much longer than the others and will not make any noise until 5-10 seconds after the lights flicker. He is the fastest, giving you the least amount of time to react, so trying to predict when he dashes through is nearly mandatory to survive.
Chainsmoker is the slowest one out of all five, and he will emit a green smoke among his trail that is HARMLESS. The only thing it does, is makes you panic while inside the locker much faster, so it is important to make sure that you go into the locker quite late compared to the others, as you will panic out of the locker if you go in early and it will kick you out of the locker, leaving you unable to go inside until you are calm again.
Pro tip: All Anglers will only follow the main path, so if you know where the next/correct door is, you can go into a separate optional room in order to not have the need to hide into a locker. You can also hide in vents.
..Beware of the Pandemonium..

So the anglers as you read have different varrients. Grey is like normal rush. He gets, in gets out. Brown rushes back and forth like ambush from doors. Staying in a locker for too long will make the player paranoid and hop out. Pink is like grey but doesn’t flicker the lights, he only gives audio cues. Finally, green, he is like normal grey but bigger. He leaves behind a green smoke that can damage you if you stay in it for too long. That is all about the anglers. Cya!
Smoke doesn't damage you. Green guy is totally not like blitz. He is WAyYYYYY slower
The green one moves slowly, and forces you to leave lockers faster. The strategy is actually to hide as late as possible

YES
Every run is quite different with new structures and mechanics
Here’s a little help regarding the Angler variants on your next playthrough of Pressure.
The orange one, Froger, will be able to sometimes rebound, similar to ambush from Doors. The pink variant, Pinkie, will not cause the lights to flicker. Keep your ears open for anything that sounds like screaming. That will alert you to Pinkie’s arrival. Third and finally, Chainsmoker. This variant is slower than the others, but you’ll be kicked out of lockers quicker than usual when it’s coming your way. Choose when you hide in a locker carefully if you suspect Chainsmoker is approaching. There’s also a rare variant for the angler, but that’s a surprise for you to find out! I really hope this helps!

Here's a few tips for your next playthrough, Ryan:
The Angler has four variants that all have different behaviors you need to be aware of.
The "Froger", or brown variant, is the one that is able to do loops, so the best strategy here is to wait by the locker, hop in, and once it passes by, hop back out and wait until you hear it returning. Repeat this strategy until it inevitably goes away.
The "Pinkie", or pink variant, is able to spawn without flickering the lights whatsoever. However, you do have a much longer time to react and find a hiding spot, as you can hear it from a much further distance than the regular Angler.
The "Blitz", or grey variant, acts almost the exact same way as the regular Angler. The only difference being that you won't be able to hear it until it is close to you. The strategy here is to find a locker once the lights flicker, wait until the moment you hear it's loud audio cue, and hop in the locker quickly. Reaction time is key here.
The "Chainsmoker", or green variant, takes a much longer time to reach the room you are currently in, and emits a green smoke that causes your hiding time to be significantly reduced. The best strategy is to wait by a locker until it sounds really close-by, and hop in. You ideally want to spend the least possible amount of time inside the locker when the Chainsmoker is active.
There are several more threats you need to worry about aside from The Angler and it's variants, but I think it's probably best to let you discover those yourself, as that is all part of the experience!
Enjoy the game, Ryan!
Add-on to the fact that Chainsmoker can't see just hide in the corner of a room in plain site. Don't stand in it's way though.
@@NobleKanna Also a good fact to make note of!
be wary though cuz there is a chance that some angler encounters may spawn a pandemonium which like an angler but will deviate from its set path to seek you and kill you and forces you to do a minigame when in lockers

Pressure is an absolutely fantastic game, there's a lot of cool stuff to find and i'm super glad u made a video on it, would love to see u and the lads playing this
hi ryan!! ive played pressure for a while so heres a few tips for most of the monsters!!
first monster type is the angler. there are six (seven if you wanna count the very rare one) types of anglers. the angler, which is the most common variant as seen in 6:34. chainsmoker, which is green. pinkie, which is, evidently, pink. blitz, which is grey. frogger, which is a brown frog, pandemonium, the black variant, and a-60, the red and rarest type.
the anglers always go in singular, direct path. all of the anglers are almost completely blind, so you can either hide in a locker or out of sight in order to avoid then. pandemonium, however, is not like the others. while pandemonium does follow the direct path, you cannot hide out of sight. if you do so, pandemonium will separate from the path, go directly to you, and kill you. either hide in a locker, a vent, or in a different room. also, each of their screams are different, sort of like how ambush and rush from doors sound different. most are easy to depict from one another though.
the angler is like rush. the lights will flicker, it might take a while to reach you, but when you hear it getting close, hide in a locker or out of sight.
chainsmoker is the slowest. when hiding in a locker, chainsmoker will slowly pass through, emitting this green like smoke (clearly lol) which kicks you out of your locker and kills you. either hide out of sight, or get into a locker late.
pinkie does not make the lights flicker. however, you will be able to tell when pinkie is coming. pinkie makes this high pitched screeching sound, which is why it is a good idea to stop and listen. it takes a while to arrive, but when it does, hide in a locker or out of sight.
blitz is one of the fastest types. it will make the lights flicker longer than the others, and arrives pretty quickly. when the lights flicker for that long, hide *immediately.* blitz gives you little to no time to react.
frogger (as seen in 27:24) is similar to ambush from doors. it makes a deeper pitched sort of screech. it makes the lights flicker, obviously, and you should hide in a locker or out of sight. it will rush back and forth a few times. if youre in a locker and it passes by for the first 2 times, get out of the locker and immediately get back in. you cannot stay in the lockers for too long, making you lose sanity and kicking you out.
pandemonium, my least favorite, is the angler which is not blind. as previously stated, if you are in plain sight, it will kill you. hide in a locker, vent, or in a different room, preferably ones with the keycards. when hiding in a locker, pandemonium will go directly to you, making you play a minigame. you will have to keep a circle in the middle of the screen, all while pandemonium is constantly making the circle flip all across the screen. this minigame lasts for about a minute or so, with pandemonium disappearing when its over.
a-60, (aka the "multi monster" or "run ender")the rarest one, gives little warning. all that happens is that a red text will appear at the bottom. a-60 is quick, about a little quicker than blitz, so you have to be quick. once you see the red text, hide *quickly.* do not move from your hiding spot until another red text appears at the bottom, saying something like, "we both die tonight, one of us, a bit later than the other." thats when you can continue.
there are more monsters, so heres an explanation on how to beat them!
puddles of void mass: as seen in 10:43, is a purple squid entity with tentacles that spawns in lockers. its pretty obvious to spot, and unless youre frantically searching for a locker, is pretty easy to avoid. when in singleplayer mode, if you accidentally get into its locker, it will pull you in, and you die immediately. however, in multiplayer mode, if someone gets into the locker, you can save them before they die. also, funnily enough, you can get an achievement if your teammate dies in a void locker, and you die in the exact same locker.
good people: as seen in 9:24, is a fleshy entity with a smiling mask. it hides behind fake doors. it does 55 damaged when encountered. a way to avoid this is to walk up to the door and not open it. if you hear growling and/or scratching, do not open the door. if the door number starts sparking or looks like it has static, do not open the door. occasionally, a voice will tell you to go through the doors. do not.
wall dweller: as seen in 21:46, is a humanoid monster that lacks arms. it will silently grow from the walls behind you and slowly creep up until it finally kills you. this is why it is a good idea to always check behind you. if you hesr footsteps behind you, immediately turn around. wall dwellers will immediately run away upon being spotted. if you hide in a locker while being stalked by the wall dweller, it will stand outside your locker until you get out and kill you. however, you can trick the wall dweller. when you hewr an angler coming, hide in a locker. this will kill the wall dweller. when the angler passes, find its body. you will get an achievement if you eat its flesh.
squiddle: my LEAST favorite, as seen in 15:10, spawn in very dark rooms. theyre like screech, but the opposite. you cannot stare at them for too long. if a player stands too close to one for about 3 seconds, it will attack. if you flash your light at it for more than 1.5 seconds, it will attack. however, certain light sources will not affect the squiddles, such as the flash beacon and the blacklight.
eyefestation: as seen in 23:06 is a shark with green eyes. it can appear in rooms with large windows and bodies of water behind it. eyefestation will drag your camera towards it, forcing you to look at it, and doing damage unless the eye contact is broken. sometimes it will even speak to you, bribing you to look at it. sometimes, the next door will be locked for up to 15 seconds, forcing you to look at eyefestation until the timer is up. if the room after eyefestation also has a body of water, there is a chance it will follow you and continue its assualt. it does go away though. however, using a flash beacon, you can enrage eyefestation. (this is not recommended.) if you flash eyefestation once, it will turn red, and its force will be stronger. if you flash it a second time, it will turn purple, and its force will become even stronger. it will stay enraged for the entire game until the run is over or until the player dies. youll get a badge for surviving its enraged state, if thats any motivation lol.
sebastian solace: as seen in 16:15 appears when you die, or during your run. he is docile! (until recently..) during your run, in a random room, he will whisper to you, telling you to come visit him. you should! he will offer you tools, such as light sources and medkits. if you flash him with s flash beacon, he will yell at you. however, as of recently, if you flash him, he will pick you up, reprimand you, and then throw you to the floor, dealing 50 damage. if you do it again, he will shoot you, which instantly kills you. he wont show you the document on him.
searchlights: a massive floating creature with harpoons/hooks and searchlights on its under belly. it is a grand encounter, sort of like figure from doors. it will have a chance of appearing once during your run, and appears finally after you escape the ridge. as the name suggests, it has orange looking searchlights from its belly. in this encounter, youll have to fix 5 generators (9 with other players) without getting spotted. if a player is spotted, it will make a noise similar to a whale. if a player does not immediately get out of sight, it will harpoon the players chest, and eat it. you can use lockers, walls, and containers to hide from searchlights. please beware that puddlle of void mass can still spawn in these lockers.
searchlights will also have a final encounter after you escape the ridge in room 115. youll have to fix wires underwater without getting spotted. you can hide using various debris, since youre underwater and theres no lockers. youll have to fix 7 wires, but 14+ if playing multiplayer. while fixing the pipes, up to 3 searchlights will spawn, making it more difficult. try and stay near the bottom, there are parasites that will get in your suit and do damage until you shake them off. once all pipes have been fixed, you will swim to the center shaft of the arena, pull the lever, and rush back to the cave where you came from. a searchlights will hover over an open area of the cave, shining its lights to look for any players. youll have to maneuver around the lights in order to get through. do not rush, there is no time limit.
thats all i will cover, since ryan hasnt seen the newer entities yet. i know this is late but i hope you play the newest update! 😓
This is crazy, I just played this yesterday and was thinking "wow, Ryan's definitely gotta see this game" just to be blessed with a video the day after, this is wild
You can use the flash beacon directly while facing the green eye dude to get rid of him, trust me.
he also will become blue if you flash him twice, this makes him happy and makes him peaceful
Im glad this and some other roblox games are getting more recognition for how well they're made!
here are some tips without spoiling much:
- blitz works like rush, only goes by once
- pinky sometimes wont cause the lights to flicker, and also moves very fast
- froger is what you died to, they rush by and then go backwards, after a short while they come back
- chainsmoker moves very slow and produces green smoke, if you hide in the locker too early youll get kicked out and die (it kicks you out faster than the other anglers)
- you can also avoid them by hiding in vents, seperate rooms, or if youre far enough away since they dont have too large of a detection radius
- the flash beacon doesnt anger the squiddles
Ryan I highly recommend you play ULTRAKILL, it is an amazing game and the reference to ULTRAKILL is at 0:40 the trenchbleeder is a reference to THR-1000 Earthmovers, and the arsenal update came out so go play it and see what you think.

We all said in unison
I think for the angler, the normal one is grey, blitz is the most dangerous, being silent and VERY fast, Froger roams back and forth a couple times, Pinkie does not flicker lights, but is louder and easier to discern/hear from a long distance, and Chainsmoker is CONSIDERABLY the slowest, and leaves a green haze.

I'm surprised you'd make a video on this Ryan! You can hide in plain sight from a lot of the entities since they use raycast. This includes Pandemonium, the one that you hide from that bangs on the locker. (I got a ban from their server for making a joke about that LOL). The black squids are actually squiddles that you're supposed to not stand near for too long or flash a light on them. (The counter to them is using the flash beacon / blacklight.) They spawn in every darkroom basically but never outside. Chainsmoker (The green one that releases green gas) is actually the one who's blind and you can stand right next to as long as you aren't in it's way. Frogger (Iron lung reference) is basically ambush but trickier. He can pretend to leave and immediately come back. For blitz (Extremely fast one) you're supposed to count to 3 before you enter the locker whenever the lights flicker TWICE. Wall dwellers are the ones that come up from behind you that are eddible. When angler kills them you can grab a piece of them and eat them and heal. (Started off as a joke now a real thing)
As for the other variant Pinkie, she doesn't flicker the lights but makes a loud noise whenever she appears. She can appear underwater too unfortunately, but you can hide from her inside of a potted plant in the corner since the raycasting sucks in Roblox. Sometimes angler might "appear" but it'd only be an ambience type of angler to trick you. It'll sound muffled and it won't really appear. It's more of a mimic I'm pretty sure or for the ambience to show that anglers probably below/above you to immerse you.
For when you reach door 50 I'm pretty sure it's obvious you're supposed to stay out of sight from the searchlights beams that appears there. It spawns only in Door 50 and 115 (Past the ridge).
Wow, thanks for the explaintion!

Just incase you want some more info on the "angler" Blitz is the normal rush, Pinkie doesnt make the lights flicker but is louder than the normal blitz, froger is basiclly just ambush, and chainsmoker is byfar the most of the lethal needing better timing for lockers but is very obviously with the sound it makes
Youre wrong about Blitz, Rush of pressure is just angler, he makes the lights flick. How ever blitz flicks normally but comes extremely late with basically no noise indicating its arrival, only at the last second and blitz is also the fastest one of them.
Dude im so happy that you exist because whenever i get bored of watching some random crap on yt shorts i remember your channel and i immediatley go to watch somthing on your channel. Idk what i would do without you its really fun watching you play games and i really like your voice! Keep up the good work man.
YOOO 8bit-Ryan played pressure?! It’s insane how fast this game grew in player count and its mechanics!
by over the years it's only been up for a month excluding the testing phase
@@roninalpha1285 💀oh shit I didn’t realize
Ryan noticing "day 3 of asking Ryan to play preassure" but not "day 2000 of asking Ryan to play Alice MR" is hilariousss
Crazy to see how far you've come Ryan. Lov ya man ♡
Also roblox scares me sometimes.
As soon as I played pressure I knew Ryan would play it. Thank you so much Ryan, I'm going through a hard time as a horse I've owned all my life was put to sleep on Tuesday, and watching your videos just helps me that little bit in the grieving process. ♥
“What’s that nought of five? What’s that all about? I don’t know what that means…”
WAAAAAAAH
u cannot be this extremely unoriginal u said the first sentence bro spoke throughout the whole fucking video 😭
RYAN! When you get the flash Gun. Try flashing the bull shark that had green eyes on it! It has a chance of scarinf it away
Devious ass comment
16:15 WAIT IS THAT GIANNI MATRAGRANO?????? NO WAY DUDE!!!!!!
they really Got Gianni, w devs.
yup, Gianni voices Sebastian in this game, a true W
Haha yeah, devs asked him and he accepted because the character "looks cute", gotta love the guy, totally agree with em though, we love Sebastian :)
Hey Ryan, if you didn't know there is a new update to Roblox Doors and I've been wanting to know if you were ever going to check it out, that's all I wanted to say ,and also "be sure to check the weather outside and head around the back of the hotel" see ya ;)
i remember this game when it got shut down for a while
Phew! I thought I was the only one 🎉
i played this game very early when it only had 3 monsters and no lobby
tips on some of the creatures:
SHINE EM FLASH BEACON AT EYEFESTATION (big shark with eyes which makes you look at it) AND RUN (dont do this)
the good people disguise as fake doors, the only way to find em out is audible shark ahh sounds or breathing, or smth is off with the number
flash the flash beacon at the ferryman ("GET OUT!")
go outside and get some fresh water next time youre underwater (dont, youll die)
NEVER, and i mean NEVER try to die when youre reaching door 40 and above
get in em lockers with purple stuff ay (dont)
this sounds cringe
Don’t flash beacon eyefestaion man don’t be trolling him like this 😭😭😭
this "nerf" actually made only like 3 quests easy. the rest is still unbearable.
Wrong place bud
I think you commented on the wrong video, bud.

Hi Ryan! This is my second time posting on this channel but I wanted to talk about how much you’ve helped me in life even when I was a lot younger then now.
Today my 16 year old dog passed away. I knew it was coming but it was just so sudden that I took it really hard. I really needed a distraction from the horrible situation and what you post daily gives me so much peace of mind to just take my mind off things.
I love your content so much and the wonderful channel you have if I could donate I would.
Rest in peace for your dog. I hope you unite with him in heaven. I feel very bad for you.
SO GLAD YOU FINALLY GOT TO THIS GAME (please beat it its SUCH A GOOD GAME)
I LOVE YOU 8-BITRYAN!!
Ryan: HOW DO I AVOID THE SQUIDDLES?
Me: "Being mad at him, giving them light."
Only if u have listened to the song “Dupe - Kontrolla” like this 😅😅
the thing in the dark that jumpscares you, you get jump scared by it if it’s in the radius of the light from your: Lantern / Flashlight but there is a different flashlight that won’t let him jumpscare you, just anger him. He’s called a squiddle I think
is he British
Yes
Ryan I wanna say thanks for all the content and the enjoyment I love how your always nice and wholesome and your not over the top either with the curse words I just wanna say keep it up!!
the monster that looked like a humanoid was a wall dweller. they start exiting from the wall and then they will run at you. if you're off guard and don't look behind, he might eat you. you can eat his remains if he gest killed by the angler (the speeding fish) and his cousins (his variants).
Pressure has 115 doors, 60-69 contain a searchlight creature where u gotta fix generators. Door 100 is where the crystal is at, and door 115 is where u gotta fix pipes of some sort, there are 3 phases, each phase is +1 searchlight creature, also to avoid good people (dupe in pressure) you have to look out for obvious signs, the fake door has sparks coming from the number, while the normal one doesn’t, not sure if there are anymore signs but thats how i find the way and the slim squid is the „screech“ of pressure, you have to avoid looking in its face. And the anglers, theres the normal one, like rush, theres also one like ambush in doors that comes back, and theres also one that leaves fog that drains health, and theres one where u gotta keep the dot in the middle of ur screen, and the guy that was on the screen after ur died is sebastian, he meets u at door 48 or 49, he sells items, but dont use the flashgun on him or he‘ll get mad (he wont do anything, he only yells at u)
god, this easily has to be one of my favorite games right now ever! i looked up "pressure roblox" to see how many videos there were of gameplay and low and behold... you were one of the top ones i found. 1 day ago!
i'm freaking thrilled that you're playing this game and i hope i get to see more content from you on this. :)
21:23 Ryan that was a wall dweller. But they can be easily encountered by looking at them and they run away. Another fact is they can die. So if you managed to get Angler to kill it you could go back to its body and grabbed a piece of the Wall Dweller. If you consume it you can get regeneration permanently
Hey Ryan, got some tips for you.
1. if you are near a Faux Door you may need to wait as some sounds have a delay, and each are different in terms of loudness and type. sometimes the NAV-MARKER next to a Faux door will spark, that's another way to identify one.
2. Squiddles won't be aggressive near a keycard door, in my playthroughs they tend to require at least 15 seconds just to aggro unlike if they weren't near the keycard door. they can also spawn anywhere in the darkness, including the darkness after the lights are broken. oh and they will attack even in the dark if you stare at them or stand near them for too long. their faces will glow brighter to indicate when they will attack.
3. just like DOORS, as long as you an a Path entity are far enough away then you won't be killed, however there are some entities that will come directly for you. oh and as far as im aware there is no monster that hunts you within the dark...
4. each monster has a unique sound, ALL do. however keep in mind that underwater or in some rooms, a monster will either be muffled or spawn very close, meaning that sometimes you will need to keep mind of lockers in case one suddenly comes.
(last) 5 & 6. most scary sounds you hear in the game, such as something running at you, don't mean anything. but don't get too comfortable since there is a monster that walks around sometimes.
Don't use flash-beacon on the Eyes shark since that will enrage it and make the pull harder to resist, flash it again and it will enter Enraged+ where it's the hardest. the enragement will last for some doors, however if you escape the room in Enraged+ you will unlock the flash-beacon at the starter shop. also squiddles don't mind the flash-beacon, as it doesnt aggro them at all.
At 21:15, when that figure was coming at you, Angler killed it and you could've eaten it for a rare badge.
Oh yeah a little tip, using the flash beacon on Eyefestation (The green guy who makes you look at him) does something
Why do roblox horror-game lobbies look like amusement park queues, this is the most in-depth multiplayer lobby I have ever seen holy sheeze-
Fun fact there is a file from the urbanhaste category that goes by the name “my wife” (if you find the specific room it will unlock). There is a line that talks about the entity which goes by the name “the wife” is a corpse that everyone seems to see it is their wife even if they aren’t married. There is an another line that says it like to have animals stapled on it (the corpse) and one of those animals are squirrels. I believe everyone knows by now that the game is inspired by iron lung. Well the creator of iron lung made a game where you are stapling dead squirrels on your wife’s dead body in hopes that with a ritual you can revive her. Maybe not maybe it is just a coincidence but if it is true it is a funny reference to one of the main inspiration behind pressure
If you use a flash beacon on eyefestation (monster who pulls your gaze to it) eyefestation will go away
You have to use the flash beacon twice for it to go away
Ryan, i know this is completely unrelated. But you have to play the new biggest FNF mod named "Step Right Up: Adventure Isle" It is such a good mod and i guarantee you will get more comments requesting you to play it soon. PLEASE RYAN PLEASE PLAY IT!!
Hey, Ryan! I'm the Voice Actor for the Intercom speaker, named HQ.
I'm glad you enjoyed the game my friend worked so hard on, the Angler is also voiced by the Iconic Gianni Matragrano!
The Angler has variants, just so you should know :)
Hey Ryan, here’s a little tip: whenever you are struggling with finding the key card if you listen very closely, you can hear a static noise very useful for finding the key card. It’s only thing that ecstatic so if you hear static, it’s probably the key card!
Ryan, Roblox has so many good games that you have yet to play, one of them is Pillar Chase 2, its a maze horror game I guess on Roblox and has a few killers that you might know, Its also pretty much a copy paste of DBD
And lo, since I love Ryan's videos so much, I spent an hour and a half crafting this take on PRESSURE! This might be the longest story I’ve ever written, taking five and a half hours to complete. If you manage to read it all, I’d be sincerely appreciative and flabbergasted. If you don’t fall unconscious halfway through, you’re welcome! Be prepared before you press read more-this is quite likely the longest story I have written so far. I expect plenty of comments saying, “I’m not going to read all that,” but this time I came well-prepared with more than usual, and I had to shorten it because CZcams wouldn’t let me post something that long lmao XD 😂
Prologue:
Dr. Ethan Carrick and Dr. Claire Hawkins worked frantically in their lab, the flickering fluorescent lights casting an eerie glow over their strained faces. The apocalypse was unfolding around them as their experiments had grown powerful enough to escape their incubators. Razor mandibles and venomous tails now defined these monstrous beings. The lab, once a hub of scientific advancement, had turned into a slaughterhouse. Dr. Carrick’s hands trembled as he injected the final components into a small, clear crystal, which crackled with energy-the last hope against the creatures threatening to overrun the planet. “We have to hurry, Claire. This crystal is our only chance.” Dr. Hawkins nodded, her face pale. “Subject A923-B, 8-BitRyan, is our only hope. He might be able to save us and everyone else.” The monsters’ screams and roars grew louder, closing in on them. The scientists escaped into a smaller lab, slamming the door and activating the lockdown protocol. Heavy metal shutters descended, sealing them inside. They were trapped, destined to starve in their self-imposed prison. Yet they continued working, knowing Ryan was their last chance.
With their remaining strength, they poured their efforts into the crystal. This gemstone, crackling with renegade power, was the only weapon capable of destroying Subject 1007-the Abomination. This leviathan commanded the other creatures, its mind-controlling influence overwhelming their human will. “We must finish this,” Dr. Carrick whispered. “If we can give Ryan this crystal, he can destroy The Abomination and save the world.” Dr. Hawkins, tears streaming down her face, agreed. “It’s the only way. We were forced into this by the government, to create an artificial army from humans deemed worthless. Ryan was alone, without a career-perfect for their twisted experiments. He has to forgive us. He has to save everyone.” With their final breaths, the scientists wrote a letter to Ryan, explaining their actions and hopes. They clutched the glowing crystal tightly, their hands trembling as they etched their last words. The monsters’ fury outside grew louder, but inside, a profound silence settled as the scientists sat side by side, their backs against the wall. They held the crystal tightly, its light reflecting in their glassy eyes. A day later, Dr. Carrick and Dr. Hawkins passed away, the crystal still glowing in their frail arms.
The Final Confrontation:
*Ryan’s head throbbed with pain as he regained consciousness. An eerie voice echoed in his mind, “You are an inmate of %REDACTED% High-Security Prison. Your crimes are irrelevant. You have served 93 days of your %UNKNOWN% year sentence.” The words blurred into confusion as Ryan struggled to focus. “Today, three men from Urbanshade, escorted by heavily armed guards, arrived at the prison. They were searching for volunteers to retrieve a crystal lost during a security breach. The risk was high, but whoever retrieved it would be pardoned, released with a cleared record, and receive %UNINTELLIABLE% in cash.” Desperate for freedom, Ryan signed up with other inmates. They were expendable, not expected to return. Ryan found himself submerged in the cold, dark waters of the Hadal Blacksite. The deeper he ventured, the thicker the air became with decay and saltwater. Distant monstrous growls and malfunctioning machinery added to the sense of isolation. Suddenly, the ground gave way, plunging him into a pit of boiling steam. The heat was unbearable, scalding his skin, but his enhanced abilities helped him withstand the pain. Climbing out, he found himself in a chamber with the remnants of failed experiments-twisted, grotesque forms that once were human. Navigating through the treacherous facility, Ryan encountered puzzles designed to test his intellect. One room was a labyrinth of mirrors reflecting distorted images of his monstrous form. He deciphered the clues and proceeded through a dark corridor. Deeper into the facility, Ryan discovered a laboratory where part-human, part-sea beast creatures were kept in stasis. Their eyes, filled with fear and rage, were a grim reminder of what awaited him if he failed. Reaching the 100th door, alarms blared, red lights flashing, and the ground trembled. He was close, but so was the creature he had to contain. Steeling himself, Ryan pushed through the door. The chamber beyond was vast, with the glowing crystal suspended in the center. The Abomination-a glowing red leviathan with massive claws and ten tentacles-guarded it. Ryan saw two lifeless bodies clutching the crystal. A letter in one scientist’s hand read: "Ryan, if you are reading this, it means you have made it this far. We are Dr. Ethan Carrick and Dr. Claire Hawkins, the creators of this nightmare. We were forced by the government to create an artificial army of destruction from humans who had 'no place' in the world. You were chosen because you were alone, without a career, deemed perfect for their twisted experiments. We are deeply sorry for what has happened to you and the others. We created this crystal as a last-ditch effort to stop the apocalypse we helped unleash. This crystal is the only weapon capable of destroying The Abomination, the creature that commands the rest. If you can terminate it, the world can be saved. The fate of the picturesque world is now in your hands. We hope you can forgive us. Dr. Carrick & Dr. Hawkins" At the center of the room, stood the Abomination, a glowing red leviathan with blood bubbling from its mouth. Its astronomical claws and ten tentacles, each tipped with hooks, thrashed menacingly. Ryan knew this was the final confrontation, and there was no way out. The leviathan roared, its voice a bone-chilling symphony of rage and hunger. It lunged at Ryan, tentacles thrashing wildly. Ryan dodged, narrowly avoiding a claw that gouged the ground where he had just stood. The beast's tentacles swept through the air, smashing into walls and sending debris flying. Ryan grabbed a piece of shattered metal and hurled it at the creature, the sharp edge slicing into its flesh. The beast closed in, its jaws snapping inches from Ryan’s face. He punched its eye, causing it to reel back. Spotting exposed electrical wires, Ryan ripped out a live wire and thrust it into the creature’s maw. Electricity coursed through its body, causing it to convulse and thrash violently. The beast roared in agony, but instead of retreating, it grew more ferocious. It lashed out, its claws slicing through metal and concrete alike. Ryan was thrown across the room, slamming into a console. The beast grew more ferocious, its claws slicing through metal and concrete. Ryan, thrown across the room, struggled to his feet. He grabbed a gas tank, rolled it towards the creature, and kicked it into its path. The tank exploded, engulfing the beast in flames. The creature’s roar was deafening, but it wasn’t defeated. In the chaos, one tentacle caught Ryan off guard, its hooks digging deep into his stomach. Blood poured from the wound as he was flung to the ground. Another tentacle splashed acid onto his leg, the corrosive liquid burning through his flesh. Ryan, battered and broken, fought through the pain. In a desperate bid, he grabbed a shard of glass and slashed at the tentacle holding him. Free, he crawled towards the crystal. The beast, enraged, lunged at him. With a final surge of strength, Ryan grabbed the crystal and plunged it into the creature’s maw. A blinding light erupted, illuminating the chamber. The leviathan convulsed, its tentacles spasming before collapsing into a heap of smoldering flesh. Ryan, trembling, stood over the defeated beast. The crystal, now cracked and dull, lay beside him. He dropped the spent crystal and turned his attention to the letter’s final words. With the leviathan defeated, the remaining creatures would no longer be organized. Ryan’s task was far from over; he needed to evacuate the facility and ensure the creatures were contained. He navigated through the wreckage, the facility's alarms blaring, the flickering lights casting eerie shadows. Reaching a reinforced security door, Ryan fumbled with the Code Breacher, his hands shaking. The door finally clicked open, and he stumbled into the cold water of the exit chamber. Summoning his last energy, he dragged himself towards the nearest pod. In the pod, he activated the launch sequence, his vision darkening. The pod ascended, the alarms and tremors fading. Emerging from the water, Ryan saw the rescue team’s lights. Exhausted but relieved, he was helped out of the pod. In the days that followed, Ryan was treated for severe injuries. The Hadal Blacksite was sealed, the threat of the leviathan and its control ended. Ryan’s actions had prevented an apocalypse, but the scars were both physical and emotional. Urbanshade acknowledged his bravery and offered gratitude. Ryan, a hero in the shadows, had saved humanity. His story became a legend, a testament to courage and resilience. Though he would never forget the horrors, he carried the knowledge of his triumph-a beacon of hope in a changed world* .
16:12 the fact that bro put in Minecraft music in the objectively (or subjectively idk which one is which) the worst time because bro just died there is just hilarious
Tips. If you see two door on pressure you should hear if the door has breathing sound do not open that door.
4:06 *sees stapler* “paper clip”
I've got some tips for you for the Angler about his variants if it's making you confused about what to do when you encounter them
The Green One: He's going to make at LOT of noise but will come to you much slower then the others
Warning: going to a cabinet to soon the green variant will force you out the cabinet just like Hide but the others don't, just wait till you really see him...
The Pink One: He's like Ambush but different he's going to go back AND this is why you died last game
Warning: he DOES come back but this time not going to go back
The Grey One: He's The Quieter Of Them All Just Be Careful Of The Lights
The Brown One: I'm not sure about this one but I don't think light flicker with this one
Although I'm sure 100% about the Green, Pink And Grey One
They still do sound so basically don't miss anything that is audio related
Good luck when I think you talk a lot during it
Bonus: You haven't died yet to the one that copy the door number, it's completely audio related, you'll ear breathing and growling behind the door, just don't get close to the door to ear it or you'll get ded so just go to the side of the door by the wall and be sure to listen closely...
For the one in the shadows it's the light your right but there is smt else, don't get close to them for to long
That is all, just wait till you encounter The Serchlight or even The Pandemonium...
Oh and one last thing try to loot more and get 1K Documents before you encounter Sebastian for getting he's lore Doc about himself... Yeah you don't know who I'm talking about but between door 40-50 maybe you'll ear someone calling for you that was waiting for your arrival
The angler you kept dying to was the brown one he comes back for you, the green one is slow the pink one doesn’t make the lights flicker
21:20 got triggered when I saw that wall dweller die to the angler and he didn’t eat its corpse to get the badge. being a new player means you can miss out on a lot lol
damn that sucks 😢
Fun fact: if you flash the Flash Beacon onto the shark, it wil enrage it, escaping it while enraged would give you the ENRAGED badge.
For those who want to find out the mechanics of the angler on their own without help, do not press read more.
You have been warned.
It is very important to know the angler variants. The more you progress the more you’ll need to know which one passed you.
Variant *Gray:* Lights flickering are a warning that it is coming, fairly obvious, and once it passes you are ok it will not come back.
Variant *pink:* This is the worst by far from my experience. The pink angler appears with ZERO warnings so if you are not near a closet when it is coming you are done for. For this reason you need to keep a note of all of the lockers that are safe and close.
Variant *brown:* Flashing lights are a warning for its arrival. This one can be dangerous but eventually you get used to it. This is the only angler that passes more than once. It will first go by you and then quickly return, after that wait for it to pass once more and then you are ok. *BROWN ANGLER ALWAYS PASSES 3 TIMES.*
Variant *green:* Flashing lights are a warning for its arrival. This one has messed up a few of my runs because of poor timing but it is not that hard to deal with really. It moves VERY slowly and emits a green gas. If the green angler is approaching you, you must carefully time when you enter a locker because this angler makes you leave the locker incredibly fast.
To add one more thing. Lights flickering in dark rooms means nothing.
And lastly, remember to have fun! :)
Ryan you should definately try “Do Not Take The Cat Home” its a really long but cool game and even if you dont finish it i think it would be awesome if you tried it it also has a good true ending. Please try it. Day 2
Little late to this but decided to add some tips for maybe Ryan and anyone who wants to know more about how to deal with particular entities! Coming from someone who hasn't beaten the game lol, but is really hyperfixated on it and has spent a lot of time reading wiki articles and analyzing their documents!
I won't be going into detail about Angler and its variants because there's already a few comments talking about them in a good amount of detail, but I will mention some others I haven't seen talked about yet.
Wall Dwellers are the demon looking creatures that Ryan spotted following him before one of the Angler variants came through. There's a 1/62 chance they'll spawn and once they do they'll stalk you. You can hear them, but they're quiet. Check behind you frequently. After you scare them off they may come back to try and ambush you, so be careful. If you hide in a locker and one is chasing you, it'll wait until you come out. They can be killed by Angler variants, and you can eat their flesh.
Squiddles will be aggroed if you get too close (though you'd have to be practically inside one) or if you shine a light source at them. They will not be aggroed by blacklights or flash beacons, so you can use those safely without worrying about getting attacked. Lanterns are the worst, since they could aggro a Squiddle that you can't even see. Just leave them alone and you'll be fine.
Good People and Z-779(I believe?) are the fake doors. The easiest sign the door is fake will be the growling/breathing. The door may also spark, or the door number might change to text pre-attack I believe (though I haven't seen it happen yet). And if an Angler variant goes through, the correct door's light will be off. Fake doors will continue to have the number lit up.
Puddles of Void Mass are the ones that hide in lockers. It's easy enough to tell if they're in there from the breathing, the blueish purple eyes through the slats, and a slightly dark puddle of water(?) on the floor in front of the locker.
There's more of course, but those are just the ones Ryan has seen. Sorry that was longwinded, I have an issue with explaining things in too much detail. I just really hope this helps some people out there!!
Tip: The angler variants have different sounds and visuals so you can tell between them. Reg angular is basically rush, Blitz is very fast and way to tell its him is that the lights flicker twice and he’s really fast and doesn’t give much warning as to when he comes so just get by a locker and get in when you hear loud noises. Pinkie is a bit harder as they actually don’t alert you with flickering lights but they have unique sounds. Chainsmoker takes his time and also has unique sounds (crackling) so just be patient if you feel it’s him. Frogger also makes unique sounds and is the one that loops twice. Now for the one that likes to hide behind fake doors, there’s a few ways to tell it’s the wrong door as you can hear either breathing or growling and you will know it’s a fake door if you look at the door number and if small sparks fly off of it. And the Squiddles don’t respond to black lights so when you find that you can happily shine it at them and they won’t react. Good luck when you play this again and I hope you will beat it, just keep in mind for the sounds and you should be fine.
