  • Complete coverage of Event 5, Stone to Shoulder, from the 2022 Arnold Strongman Classic in Columbus, Ohio. Despite not winning any of the first four events, the ever-consistent Martins Licis entered this final event in prime position to clinch his first Arnold title with a big Atlas stone performance. He'd need 100 points to do so, but before he could celebrate, Martins got to watch Oleksii Novikov and Bobby Thompson make their own final statements in front of a raucous Columbus crowd.

    WOW its almost as if martins very close friend and mentor literally owns the stone that they had to lift... and its almost as if he also wasnt a judge on the dumbell event and gave him insane slack.....

    Why was Romark allowed to enter the platform while the time for the event was still running? I understand he wants to support martins, but this is very unprofessional. Imagine if every athlete decides to do that, it would worst than an amateur show.

    • @CarnageIsILL
      @CarnageIsILL Před 2 lety +2

      I like Romarck but he's become cringe at times. He moved the chalk closer to the platform than any other competitor got and he made sure he was in the shot hanging off of Martins as soon as he dropped the second shouldered stone. I'm getting Tom from Juji Mufu's channel vibes...

    • @Oyashio202
      @Oyashio202 Před 2 lety

      Because it didn't matter? Martins won from the first lift, competition is over. Extra one is for show and they don't mind all the extra excitement for the 2nd lift for fun anyway.
