This reminded me of when Peter stepped out of the boat. When his eyes were on Jesus everything was fine, but his perspective changed when he looked away. We have to keep our eyes on HIM and HE will show us the way. God bless you!

You are wise beyond your years. Katie, I dont need to see you in person to know you are doing a great job with Ira. As a parent of a 19 and a 20yo sons I pray they find wives as wise as you in God's timing. Proud of you girl.

I think you're spot on! I love your eye for the appreciation of God's beautiful creation! I also love flowers. If I had my way, there would be no grass in my yard, but a flower garden. But I live in an apartment without good lighting for indoor plants and allowed only one outdoor pot. But, it's full of God's gift of beauty.
My goal is like yours, to follow God's will every day. I have one up on you though, only because I have so much more experiences from my 65 years. It's such a blessing to see young people who have the eyes on the Lord and a heart's desire to be faithful to Him.

My husband passed away 17 months ago and my life just stopped, I only go out when I have to and seem to not find joy in things that I once loved doing.l worry about being a burden on my kids which are loving and supportive. My granddaughter is here, early. Healthy thus far. I need prayers for my daughter and nephew. Both are currently unemployed and I'm trying my best to help them. Please pray they have enough in this life, for I know I won't always be around. Thank you for all you do. You're always in my prayers.

I just LOVE poppies!! The first kind you showed i believe are icelanic poppies. My husband and i bought them as favors for our guests at the baby shower of our first son. There's a sweet spot in my heart for them! ❤

That is a wonderful word God has given to you to remember in the difficult days ….especially as a single mom. There are tough days and long nights as you are in the middle of the infant and toddler stages. But there is a “bigger picture and clearer perspective” as you said….. one of them is the gift of being in your parents home and they can be your extra arms and step in as you need! You are Gods daughter and His love is perfect!
Your video was very timely for me today. Your thoughts reminded me of a quote by the Christian author Sheila Walsh. In one of her books she reminds us “No matter what is going on in your life right now, you are being held in the arms of the One who is everything you need.”

We all have so much to be thankful for and it is difficult to take the time to put aside our foolish pride and thank the Lord for all he has given us. I was fortunate to have been raised by loving parents who took me to church and taught me right from wrong and as I got older, and the pressures of everyday life took a toll on me so many times I neglected to stop and be thankful for all he has given me and for my Christian home. Thank You for another touching video from your heart. I wish you and your family the very best.

I think that's why it is so, so important to read God's word everyday, especially in these days and time. Satan is always working to get our eyes off of Jesus and His will for us in our everyday walk with Him.
