His character was a major highlight of that show, he and vorenus had some of the best screen chemistry i've even seen
they had to cancel it right as they were getting to jesus
It was canceled because it was too expensive to produce, hence why the second half of S2 rushed through history to get to the end of the civil war. The plans to get to Jesus would have been something like S5

Good actor, Ive been a big Star Wars fan all my life but seeing Ray in the Ahsoka series alone makes me almost want to get Disney plus back, I said "almost". Rest in peace good sir.

Yea, I don't watch a lot of news, or even current events beyond HUGE stuff. So I had no idea he had even passed till Ashoka had this "For Ray" at the end and I was like...The fuck you mean FOR RAY??? You don't mean Stevenson do you???Hell no....{goes to internet search}......MOTHERFUCKER!!!! HOW WHY WHAT? UNKNOWN!?!?! WHAT?" Yea, it was a shcok. He's always been a favorite. RIP man.

Stevenson was truly a great man on and off the screen in that there was none other who could replicate his uniqueness, and to that I believe we lost a good man far too early. He truly inspired all of us through his many roles he would go on to play, iconically as his amazing performance as Titus Pullo. Certainly a larger than life individual. Rest in peace Ray Stevenson.

I like to think Ray Stevenson's character in the Late Roman movie "King Arthur" was a direct descendant of Pullo. Both characters had a very similar badass personality, to be honest

I know we all love Ray in Rome, and because of that I would very seriously recommend that you all watch Black Sails. His performance as Edward "Blackbeard" Teach, in season 3 & 4 of that show equal if not surpass his portrayal of Titus Pullo. His performance and Black Sails in general is something I can never speak highly enough of, and it's something that I think will be well worth all of your time.

I rarely think that a death is a tragedy because it is the inevitable end of the road for all of us. But in this case, maybe truly too soon.
RIP will be missed one of those rare people with tons of onscreen personality, his Part in Rome still my favorite and glad to hear it was his as well.
May he rest in peace and his legacy live on in the works he acted in.

I've held onto futile hope for a long time that we'd get an epilogue film or short series properly wrapping up Rome. It just wouldn't be doable without Titus Pullo. RIP Ray Stevenson.
Even though Thomas Jane will be always the best Punisher, it's undeniable that Stevenson offered us a pretty cool portrayal of the anti-hero in the War Zone film. That flick is actually pretty underrated

Ray Stevenson was one of my favorite actors Very sad to hear of his untimely passing Ray had a real screen presence, When Ray was on camera my eyes went to him, He was fabulous in all of his roles my two favorites was Rome and The Punisher both characters are warriors and fight for causes they believed in and both could show great heart. Like the character he played in the Punisher he was angry and was out for revenge for his lost family but showed caring for the little girl you will be missed BRAV RAY S. BRAVO R.I.P.

It was always a pleasure to see him in a film or TV show. He is truly one of my favorite actors. I feel every feature he was a part of was better for it. Rome is one of my all time favorite stories, it's been a huge inspiration to me and Pullo and Vorenus were absolutely instrumental to my love of that series. I'm gutted to hear of his untimely passing, but I'm so happy he was in the all the shows and films he was in. My deepest condolences to his family they must be having such a hard time. Thank-you so much for making this lovely tribute Romaboo.

Oh no!! I just rewatched Rome a month ago...somehow I missed his passing. DAMN!! His character was so vivid... while drawing in Byzantine ruins years after Rome was over, I could imagine him with Kevin McKidd, wondering at this monument to a religion that didn't even exist in their time, marveling at the shapes of the bricks. Never was an actor more alive. I'm so sorry he's gone.
