I so often do wonder, why a certain type of player, of which there are a lot in the game, is playing a WAR themed game, when they are so obviously utterly scared of being shot at and their only matchplan is to avoid damage, while ignoring the objectives (which then makes it VERY hard for the dd to do it due to lack of firesupport). When a dd uses his HP pool as team ressource, while two bbs hide behind an island, it becomes a farce really.
Three of them were hiding behind islands. The Zeitan was as well. Three ships--three BBs, all of them incapable of shooting the enemy.
Just logged in and had a game where two BBs and a radar cruiser were hiding behind an island way out northeast when the game objectives were in the middle. Amazing game, such engaging, much thinking.
most BB players like to snipe and hide most game. all the decent players have left the game or are playing DD, Cruisers, i havent played wows for almost 6 months due to crappy teammates as seen in this gameplay.
I cannot count how many times I was sunk because my team mates were hidden behind islands. I can understand this behaviour when playing CAs. The result of this battle was based on Flamu's skill, luck and the lack of skill on the other side. One more hit and bye bye, the game is over. I play Kagero (with reloader), Yugumo, Akizuki and Cossack. Kagero and Yugumo as stealth ninja torpedo boats, Cossack hit and run, Akizuki for farming BBs. But the last one needs support of other ships to be effective. Once spotted is an easy target.
They just want to cruise in their miniature ships, that's all
You forgot the most important tip on this game. None of these would have been possible with a CV in this game.
I love the analysis at the start.
I had a ranked battle where my teams Yugumo went the whole match in the back, shooting torpedoes at maximum possible range, never fired his guns, never was detected, took no damage, and we lost slowly.
The cowardice in this game is real.
Shimakaze line player. Either they rush to die or use all the torpedo range. Non of them being useful
Report and blacklist. Additionally drop a tier to avoid the idiot in the next round. Oh just realized you wrote ranked, shift to a random game at a lower tier.
@flamu Thank you for the way you started this video. Explaining on how different ships would be better in one spot vs the other is what we really need as a community to learn.
@5:03 you kill the DD and what do the BBs do? Make a hard left to get behind an island and be useless.
Noob players get very frighten when they are spoted, espeacially BB captains so they just turn around the ship and run of the map.
Ranked is hell for DDs now with Hybrid BBs and CV. SEA server has teams comprising a Kaga, a Delaware, a Kearsage, a Black, a sub and an Alaska on one side! Good luck trying to stay concealed. RIP wows!

Glad to see you outplaying the purples(ZAVOD, aurum) of RU server, because here i got an advice to a DD so that "some" ppl on it won't ruin your game buuut all those games my BBs were dying like chickens
I know I'm not the best dd player but seeing how that aki some how managed to get himself killed when he had no dds to face makes me feel like I'm above average
Just watching that pommern play killed so many of my braincells
RPF seems particularly useful with the small Ranked teams.
I watched a le fantastic play as a torp boat in this ranked season. Despite having farmable targets focused on me with no one able to shoot him.

I grinded through Yugumo to Shima in current ranked, so I am glad you publicized that fact of probably gunboat advantage there. I played there also Chungmu and I am feeling it much better in there with that ship, despite my worried of its deep sea torps being useless against DDs, well it does much better against large ship probably thx its top torp concealment.
I have also faced Black too many times.

Just got out of a GREAT ranked game in my second favorite ship, my Massa. Three kills, 213k damage done, a solo cap, high caliber, confederate.
You bet your ass we lost. Hard. All three enemies killed were mine. The rest of the team may as well have been AFK.
Another win in the ranked battle by psychological analisys of your incompetent teammates.
This is my favorite ship. Glad to see some pro game play and explanation. 👍

Mostly I met trb yuugumo in ranked, what you think about it?
It's how I play it. I don't really have a use for the smoke, except to donate to other players.
@@boges11 He would have been dead because he took a fight against 2 DD's, each of which was stronger than Yugumo. I'm not criticizing him, I am not half the player Flamu is. I'm sure he has good reasons to take smoke instead of TRB. All I'm saying is I just stay undetected 100% of the time if I can manage it and play around the torps only. Use the guns only if there is no other option or if it's completely safe.
@@AllAhabNoMoby i think both of u got some fair points, i found smoke more useful in ranked than trb, while trb is more useful in random. my opinion and reasoning is that smoke, if you are lucky can work with cruisers that could actually win the game. especially in ranked there are only 6 ships. and yuugumo has somel competition in stealth, if you don't have RPF (at least 14pts captain), you will need smoke to get you out in some situation. trb is only good for one thing, do dmg, and possible area denial, like blind firing into cap or rpf prediction. but u know hit rate of torp is typically single digit, given a lot of good players just keep firing torp to deny area, so.... and given the condition in the game, you can't really trust your team to shoot for you, so smoke behind you can allow u to return fire, and a few salvos hit make a huge different in DD fight. even if they smoke immediate after you, you can still get at least two salvos off. that's how most dd die in game anyway, a few second after they smoke up in open water.
@@AllAhabNoMoby That's not how you win games. You can't just run around throwing torps and never contest the caps.
With CVs in Ranked you either take smoke or you sign an agreement that some battles you will be entirely on CV mercy. Especially if you're good player and enemy CV uses mod to know it, you're done.
For me TRB is for Randoms, lets you hold a crumbling flank, stack floodings with RNG help, more "dual purpose" torping into caps etc. But even there smoke is optimal and highly recommended for most.
DD players in this game are usually absolutely impossible to understand.
Why take a secondary ship like Pom and play like you're trying to get on the next map over? Unbelievable, but that's WOWS.😑
Maybe I've been calloused by League of Legends, but that team didn't seem too bad. It's mind-numbing to see teammates make misplays, sure, but you really should be mentally fortified enough to handle such potato-foolery.

Unfortunately its not only ranked, randoms is such a shitshow after patch, game after game of players that more resemble apes than humans...
i flet like th black player is bad, maybe your average suicide DD player. aki has good reason to smoke because your BB stil all guns pointing at him, but the blck, has none, because you BB is full retreat mode, so he shouldn't smoke up. just dodge and let aki catch up to hunt you. at that position aki is too far back in smoke to has consistent hit. so you play around ur teammate better than their aki, if the aki anticipate the black to be as greedy as you did, he could have push forward like a couple of second earlier. but.... post-game analysis is always clearer than when u r in the game. i couldn't not done that.
you know spamming chat commands is a good way to get yourself ignored and abandoned.

When the teammates are playing stupid this is the only thing flolo can do to warn them or tell them where to go. Plus hes playing on RU servers so theres a language barrier aswell.
