  • I noticed I repeated a clip in this video. Not sure what happened. I tend to edit late at night and often at work with lots of distractions. I’ll try and fix in Adobe and reupload when I get a chance.
**This stuff is pricey but so far I'm pretty happy with both function and appearance. If youre looking for something to seal a slab against oil and other fluids and give it a nice looking polished shiny finish, this may be exactly what youre looking for. I chose this over epoxy because most epoxies do not stand up to weld slag, grinding sparks, and hot pieces of torch cut metal being dropped on them. Tuf-Seal does. According to the distributor, its impervious to most oils other than ATF, brake, and hydraulic fluid. I've spilled a fair amount of ATF and hydraulic fluid on it so far and its been fine once promptly cleaned up and aside from some scratches, the slab still looks great with no stains.

Nice video. I just did my shop floor in this last night. This morning I had a friend tell me this product is outdoor use only…can you comment on this? Hoping it holds up in the shop for what I need

Yeah, the place that sold me it told me they sell a product that’s low VOC for indoor use but it’s nowhere near as good a product as far as durability. I can definitely vouch for its high VOC. WHEW. lol. So far aside from the scratches you see in the video, mine has held up to use and abuse. I was just making slag and sparks with my plasma yesterday thinking about how well the floor handles abuse without discoloring.

Do you mean with a brush? If so then no, it’s not recommended. The place that sold it to me said you can spray it on with a garden sprayer. It’s fairly thin so I would think that would work ok. The airless sprayer worked great and harbor freight has relatively cheap ones.
