    Had Homey for a week or so, and I gotta say - this is the king, the champion and industry-leader of smarthome systems. Beats both my previous systems (Norwegian Company Futurehome, and smartthings) in reliability, responsiveness and general user experience. Even at 125 units (and counting) it just works...and the "death star" is even a centerpiece on my tv-shelf 😁

      Hey Ørjan A Nielsen, Love to hear that Homey is king ;) it can't get much better than that! Wishing you a lot of joy and success with Homey and your Smart Home! I hope that we can continue to live up to your high praise. :)

    Using Ikea and Phillips Hue right now. Will have to take a look at Innr. Thanks 👍

      If you're looking for something right in between the two, Innr is a great choice. I was quite surprised by their Outdoor devices, especially the RGB Flex & Pedestal lights. These were easy to set-up and they looked great. Gets my recommendation. :)

    Can recommend innr. Using 4 Gu10-bulbs at the moment in the kitchen. At least half the price of Philips Hue.
    Talks with Hue-Bridge and Homey. However I can't upgrade the firmware at the moment.

      Hey RepairGuyDK, loving your videos too! Unfortunately I don't understand too much, but from your attitude and enthusiasm in your recent video on Jysk Huglo curtains I can see you're enjoying it! Haha 😛 And that's what Homey is made for! 😃 FYI - to any Homey users, based in Denmark, reading this comment, you need to check out @RepairGuyDK's channel for in-depth smart home videos. He just recently joined Homey, so be nice. 👍

      @@homey I went from being a smartthings user for 3 years, to ordering Homey Pro, because of him. Now I have 125-ish devices running smooth, without any delay or "popcorn effect" on the lights😁🙌 suddenly I was able to integrate my old yamaha soundbar and samsung "half smart" tv aswell. Thank you Homey❤

    Alex, when you connect these via Homey is there a way to set power on behaviour such that the lights don’t all turn on after a power cut?

    • @homey
      @homey  Před 3 lety +1

      Hey Bellringer, great question, to my knowledge this is an inherent feature in most smart lights. I do not believe that Homey has a setting to change the power on behavior of Innr lights. If you are worried that say, while you are on vacation, and the power goes down shortly, and comes back on. Then you could create a series of Flows that you activate while going on holiday, these can then turn off your lights every night at mid-night. Just to make sure they are not on 24/7 for a number of weeks. Just an idea. :)

    Can you change the colors of the garden spot lights separately? Or the three lights are detected as one?

    • @homey
      @homey  Před 2 lety

      Hey Pablo, all three lights are operated as one, and you set the same color / light level for all the spotlights together.

    I have at least one innr light, and it works fine - But I'd love to se an official guide on how to get proper zigbee coverage when using devices from different vendors. At my parents place I've installed tons of hue lights, but they also have some Aquara devices that seem to struggle because they can't use other vendors devices as routers.

    • @homey
      @homey  Před 2 lety

      Hey Daniel, Great idea for a video, I think this could help a lot of people build better, more stable networks. I'll definitely put this on the planning. Question for your parents place, are those Hue lights connected to a Hue Bridge? If they are, I believe they create their own 'exclusive' Zigbee network.

    I've got a few innr bulbs and a light strip connected to my Philips Hue hub but I've noticed that they randomly turn on unexpectedly. Have you ever experienced this or know anyone that has? I'd love to buy more of their products but it does put me off a little with this problem. Thanks - great video!

    • @homey
      @homey  Před 2 lety

      Hey Gavin, have you checked the device timeline to note the activity? Does it mention what activity is randomly triggering the devices? It may be possible that you have some Flows setup that you may have forgotten about that turn on devices in a Zone or something similar. Worth checking that device timeline to see how these devices are being activated.

    • @tiggernibble
      @tiggernibble Před 2 lety

      @@homey Thanks for your reply. I use the Philips Hue app to control my lights so I don't think there's a way of checking the device timeline. I suppose it could just be a connection issue as the lights are quite far from my hub and no-one else seems to have this problem when I've Googled it.

    • @homey
      @homey  Před 2 lety +1

      @@tiggernibble Hopefully you'll be able to remedy the situation. Perhaps adding in a light (router) type device between the hub and lights to bridge the connection can help. Either way, good luck. :)
