Great tutorial. Looks a fairly intricate/complex job. Might have to tackle it this weekend. Been servicing our cars for the last few years from CZcams videos.

@@beingbeta9883 Thanks to your video I managed to get it out but the replacement I bought didn't fit so I scurried to a local motor factors & bought another one... that didn't fit either so I had to put the original back on. At least I know I can do it now. The effort in changing the pollen filter is something else - had to remove the clutch peddle. Similar with air filter having to disassemble lots of plastic parts to get at it. Heavily overengineered cars
@@keithbrennan6563 Nightmare! Yeh, the cynic in my wonders whether they do this to put people off doing it themselves! Hope you find the right replacement part and it all goes smoothly!
Did you bleed the system? You didn’t detail this stage in your video
I'm getting air coming up the pipe from the green clip towards the primer bulb and the car stalls now and then. Would this be an o ring issue? Primer bulb is fine.
Maybe clean that drain as well while the cover is removed so that there is no problem with water getting into the car

why not just dran it with dran plug.
Was you having any problems at all before changing it has my car is losing power over 3500rpms garage is saying fuel filter has no codes when plugged in I just spent over £500 on having a mas airflow and glow plugs
Hi Christopher - we weren't having issues with power or anything before the filter change.
Hello, the reference number of the diesel filter is 164009384R? I was never good at English, sorry, and I don't know if in your explanation you comment on the number of O-rings that the renault spare part has and how you fit them. Specifically, if there are three or 4.
Hi David, the O-rings did not come with this particular fuel filter. I used the two O-rings rings off of the old filter and they are working fine...though, next time I replace the fuel filter I will ensure I find new O-rings for the filter and fit these at the time. Hope this helps!

8:20 you need new engine mounts.
Weirdest video ever. All we actually see you do is put the jack under. Every other thing is parts in bits then Hey Presto, all done with no help how to do it. More interested in taking off the wheels than the detail of how to replace the filter. About the only useful bit is to show you where the damned filter is. Then you are pretty much on your own.
Hi Alan, sorry you didn't find the video helpful with regards to skipping certain bits - if I do another video on a filter change I'll include more footage including the removal process itself.
If you're that useless that you need it spelled out for you after you find the filter, you shouldn't be anywhere near it anyway.
