- The inclusion of Old Shang Tsung in more modern versions of Mortal Kombat is awesome, these PC Mugen games can really be a lot of fun and this is no exception! Mortal Kombat Komplete is one of my favourite Mugens out and its jam packed with great content. Watch as I take on the Tournament with none other than Shang Fun!

All these alternate versions of MK. Tough to keep track, and know which is the best.
The Originals will always be the best… BUT Mortal Kombat 2 Remix and Mortal Kombat Komplete are my faves.

Love the "Big Trouble in Little China" Shang Tsung! Seeing his Great Kung Lao fatality blew my mind. When I was a kid and got Mortal Kombat (the OG) on SNES, the instruction booklet had inside it a few panels and illustrations from some Mortal Kombat komic book. And one of those panels showed Goro beating the original Kung Lao. Now, this was an event that the arcade machine only alluded to, so kid me was stoked to finally see a picture of this Kung Lao guy, who was so strong that it took Goro to beat him.
Fast forward like 30 years later, I see the Great Kung Lao fatality and it's that exact same Kung Lao from the comic!
Stuff like that shows you what superfans the devs of these mugen are.

My favourite shang tsung skin and stance, and he kicks ass in mk3/umk3 and trilogy. I also laugh my ass off everytime you say Shang Fun 😂

This really feels like an OFFICAL release with all the versions of certain characters, im still astonished by old Shang Tsung having so many moves !! plus the fatals look so good than the garbage thats out now. I mean they brought back ANIMALITYS after millions of years, and it looks meh.
Idk if you know, but MUGEN has been superceded by IKEMEN, which is a reverse engineered version of it, and has more better tools and effects. MUGEN has been outdated for sometime, but still unbelievable what you can create in the game !! Obviously we need the current drag/drop use-ANY-FILE version and a 3D MUGEN ‼️ I hope a 3D MUGEN shows up in some fashion.

These versions are way better than what NRS / MK is doing right now. Game play, still hasnt been fixed after 30+ years.

How they can make all these amazing changes that could pass for an official game but still can't make properly rotating stages just baffles me.
I’m pretty sure they have to assign stages specifically to characters for these Mugens otherwise it’s completely random. But I could be wrong.
