  • Over 6000 of us Wolves fans at The Etihad Stadium for the Carabao Cup (League Cup) 4th Round.
Class performance both on and off the pitch. Non stop singing throughout the whole game & taking a strong City side all the way to penalties made getting home at 3.30am so much worth it.

Thought your away support was excellent last night....but remember, we've had 4 home games on the run....2 midweek games where not everyone can get to the game. so they were flogging spare seats. One family got 8 tickets for £33...which is brilliant to encourage younger fans, which there were loads of last night. That's our 4th home game in 10 days....and with parking, food and everything else for me and my two lads...the cost starts to rack up. But fair play to your guys....you were the better side on chances, even with a back 8!! Hope you get promoted....as it'll be great to hear you all in the PL on a Saturday afternoon!

Andy Turner Yeah, totally understand and get the price can be too much and with that many home games in quick succession can be a large expense! Same in our end, there was a lot of younger fans with it being half term.
Yeah - surprisingly we made 8 changes and most of the side that played were our fringe players! Thought we were very solid at the back (even if it was a large bus😉) and thought we looked dangerous on attack.
Cheers! - Hopefully we can, its been a fair few years now and this season could be the one where we return to the Premier League

As I said....you had a game plan and your Manager, especially in the 2nd half, got it spot on. Hit us on the break and you did that brilliantly. Must admit....your strikers were garbage at finishing....and our 'Bravo' who got a shit load of stick and pretty much blamed for everything that went wrong, did OK in the 120 mins. Then was a star in the pen shootout. But, I was there against Burnley on Saturday, and we weren't 'great' like we've been...and then we had the likes of Mangala, Zinchenko, Yoyo in defence.....our lazy bastard in Yaya in MF...I thought before the game...this could be a big banana skin..and it proved that way. You guys were excellent in defence and you keeper was solid as well.
Probably the most dangerous team I've seen at the Etihad this season, and I include Napoli in that...but, that wasn't our first 11......I think if we had Stones, Ota, KDB, Merlin, Sane etc from the start, it may have been a different outcome. But fair play to you guys....great support. Was chatting to a few Wolves fans at the McDonalds over the way...and I said to them that I thought it'd be close....and it was. Not sure it's our top priority this season, which is a bit of a shitter when you guys go out....but it gives us a chance to look at some fringe players and give them some game time.
Anyway....your support is class......can't wait for next season when you come again! All the best.

Great compliment! Thought we could get rinsed but whilst giving it a good go but we defo gave it more than a good go!
Yeah, would have loved to progress further but whatever will be will be.
See you next season, hopefully -
Good luck rest of season pal.

A massive difference in the home crowd dynamics last night. I wouldn't base the atmosphere on last night. Mainly kids and families after having 4 home games on the run with Napoli and Wolves in between Stoke and Burnley. Napoli was immense. Burnley was decent. Hope you guys get promoted....I think your Manager talks a lot of sense and seems to have you guys up for it.
