I just started collecting platforms, and I have about 4 pairs now. I love them a lot. I wear them almost anywhere including work. Some people think it's unattractive, but I think they're super cool and they're easy to walk in. ^_^

Buffalo needs to do us a favor and make replicas of their older Classic styles! With the tapered platfom that's more easy to walk in. I know *a lot* of us would kill to snatch up a vintage pair of Buffalo Classics
I hate heels so I wear platforms. These brands are so hard to get other than YRU's but my YRUs glue came undone after a year and I had to take it to a shoe maker

Tokyo Fashion At first it was very hard to walk in them but now I cannot live without them and they are very easy to walk in as un-like heals, You don't need to fear about tripping over! ww♪

There's no way I can pick a favorite brand but I know my favorite platforms from my collection are my 12 cm mary janes from Queen Bee. They have corset lacing on the back of the heel and they're amazing! I soooo need a pair of Tokyo Bopper platforms though.

I have three pairs of YRU platforms and I absolutely love them~! I love that they're vegan leather!! Plus YRU has so many cute designs and runs in a lot of sizes! I have super big feet so sometimes it's hard to find shoes in my size but I never have that problem with YRU (*ˊૢᵕˋૢ*)✧˖°*॰ॱ♡♡♡
in France, No Name are the most famous, although I think their platform turn around 4cm, but they may have created maybe some higher.... but other than this, really high platform like these aren't accepted :( although I really like them...

I fucking adore platforms. I have about two pairs of YRUs right now and I love them.
Every pair of hell I buy I fall out of love with after one wear, but my platforms always get worn to the ground (which luckily takes a little while!). Harajuku fashion is definitely the reason I love them so much and want more.

Masokisti You mean like the 1990s SWEAR raver shoes? Occasionally we've seen vintage 90s SWEAR/SWEAR Alternative platform shoes and boots in Tokyo. Some of those old SWEAR models were works of art.
Yeah with snail eyes. Got last one in Cyber dog and they told me Swear stopped making cyber platforms! They are mint condition and it makes me sad thats this kind of shoes with good quality are no longer in EU fashion style. It's more now days under hair cut kids with basic white platforms and weed shirts. Fresh Fruits had a book where people from Tokyo and they had big collections of Swear shoes! But because it's Tokyo and the style changes it's now just part of history. Probably second hands shops still may sell Swear shoes...

Unfortunately even when I go to Japan I can't buy any shoes due to my feet being a woman's size 9 in Australia and the biggest size in Japan being equivalent to a size 8 and even that's rare.

Is it hard to walk in platforms?
cele.t It's hard for many people at first. We see some younger girls and guys around Harajuku who kind of look dangerous walking on non-level ground, but once they get used to them it becomes natural. abigailm28 said she wears them everywhere, so I'm sure she can comment on how they work as everyday shoes as well.
