I'd never know about bands like Kadavar, Killer Boogie, Blind Dog, Red Stone Souls, Mother Engine, and many others without it and the 'net in general. The sort of heavy rock that is accessible and has any degree of success in the U.S. is a disgrace.

Since i was 13 back in 83 Sabbath has always been my fav band ever. It still is and always will be but this band so far is the band that had a close call. Not by the sound as such but by the total feel of it all. Just fuckin awesome.
I absolutely agree. They remind me of Sabbath in that they have that perfect guitar/drum/bass combination and know how to show off musicianship in subtle ways that you notice more and more you listen to them. Great riffs, leads, and transitions. Sabbath and Kadavar are two of my favorites!
Saw others mention Black Sabbath and the sub-genre of stoner rock. I think I'm detecting a bit of Space Rock too. Some parts of the music remind me of a 70s band called Captain Beyond.

Listen to Pentagram, a proto doom band of the seventies! It's spooky, they also had that vibes in their music! Such good heavy rock is rare these days, and Kadavar bring it back to us hungry rockers😂😂😂
