Great video. Definitely cracked me up. It's interesting, I've always supported physical media just for the niche reason of "it's not digital." I've never paid any mind to the packaging but now that you mention it, Disney's blu-ray labeling is jarring. :/

I miss when covers could tell you a little bit about what the movie was about.
I've been collecting Disney movies for years now and just this past year I got into collecting the US ones with slipcovers. They are way better than the UK ones but I do hate how they have shifted from the nice blue border ones to this with all that stuff plastered all over the front :(

Not from Latin America but it kinda happens (I have a couple of Mexican Pixar releases in my collection because they are way cheaper than the US releases). If you see the cover for some of their recent releases, it has the same weird "silver-blue-white" strip but without the "Multi-screen edition" bullsh*t and it doesn't have the Movies Anywhere thing (because I think...I THINK there is no Movies Anywhere in Mexico).

I'm from Spain. I think that the spaniard/european Disney Blu-ray/DVD editions are way better than the american ones since there's no double packs with bad cover designs. Tho here's a bad thing, if you want both versions of x movie you have to buy them separately, not to mention that digital copies don't exist. But at least the covers are not overloaded with unnecessary labels that can be perfectly placed on the back cover. Anyway, greetings from Spain. - Your editing style is wonderful.
That's really interesting about the lack of digital copies. That's something that's so deeply ingrained in the home media landscape here that it's weird to imagine releases without them. Thanks for the kind words, I'm glad you enjoyed the video!
Good news, it looks like Disney is finally somewhat fixing for their movies, mainly Nightmare Alley, West Side Story, The Kingsman, Turning Red and Doctor Strange 2.

How is it that this video doesn't have more views?? I never thought I would find someone who has the same issue with Disney Blu Ray packaging like me. As a Blu-Ray collector it's kinda sad that Disney is (like you said) dropping the ball with their physical releases. Deeming "Ultimate Collector's Edition" every single 4K release is just...Stupid, like dude it's just the 4K Blu-Ray with the standard Blu-Ray...What's so special about it??
And fun fact: The Mexican release of Jojo Rabbit looks way better.

This is legit a example of "Don't mess with something that's already perfect". Glad, that I'm not the only person who hates this new Blu-Ray sign thing on Disney releases. The 4k Blu-ray covers are a bit bitter as it don't have the ugly multi-screen thing.
