Tula Case - How to add binding...

Learn how to add beautiful binding finishes to your sewing projects with this tutorial featuring my Janome Horizon 9480QC Memory Craft machine! Working with Janome, I got to fully test out this incredible machine on a faux leather case, throwing all kinds of techniques at it. From multiple fabric layers to free motion embroidery, this Janome did not disappoint.
In this video, I demonstrate how I add binding to my makes step-by-step to achieve a clean, professional edge. Using fabric from Tula Pink's stunning DeJaVu Nightshade collection, I show my process for neatly folding, pinning and stitching down the binding. I also share tips on neatly joining ends. This is a customizable technique that can elevate quilts, placemats, pouches and all kinds of sewing projects!
