The song "Mo Li Hua" reminds me of my slow stroll through the Fuxing Park in Shanghai. I spent numerous afternoons absorbing the park's garden beauty and stillness. My last visit was during a rain storm and very few people were there. The fragrance of the flowers was incredible.

A beautiful story Mary-Jess, I can feel your love for this song in your voice. When you sing this I hear that love again, and feel a sense of contentment, of comfort, as if being caressed by a gentle breeze. Very pretty jacket, love the saffron color.

I agree with everything you said. My answer would have been similar, that your voice on it's own is powerful enough to carry he full emotional weight of a song and forge a connection with the listener.
To answer our question about Mo Li Hua, it definitely caught my attention. Without knowing the meaning of the lyrics, I got the feeling that it was about someone contemplating the depth of their love and affection for someone. To my ear, it has a bit of wistfulness in it. Like the person in the song is looking at the flowers and thinking of a past love and enjoying the good memories.
