- Join the crew plus a guest as we pour a large concrete garage floor and set up a big Wisconsin driveway. The weather was perfect and it was an awesome day. Darryl and I even had time to pick up my new boat and take it for a quick spin on Pewaukee lake! Enjoy

Been watching you for a while now Ryan and I can honestly say as a 25 year old who came into the trades at 18, all of these trade channels on CZcams especially yours help the younger group come into some type of trade instead of chasing the dream of being a tiktok millionaire. You and I both know all trades could use some younger people eager to learn and work. Keep on keeping on brother 🤘
Facts
This is the one! Straight out of high school I was in excavation for a company trying to make my way up to be their electrician at a gravel pit. Ended up leaving that company and going to their sister company that was residential/commercial electrical. After a year, I realized I didn’t wanna keep doing blue collar work. Wanted to go to school instead. Worked concrete last summer to save for college for my aunts company and this summer doing golf course maintenance. Even though I’m not pursuing the trades anymore, I have learned things that will save me so much money in the future and tips I use everyday. I’m a team work, put my nose in the dirt and get it done, work smarter not harder kind of guy because of that line of work. Blue collar guys make the world round.
I’m 41 years old I just had a new guy walk of the job with no experience he was being paid $16 he quit and said he could go push a broom and get paid the same (a lot easier work ) this seems to be common with the younger generation they all want to come in making big money but aren’t willing to stick around and work their way up what he fails to think of is he’ll never make much more then 16 pushing a broom I’ve been at this company 4 years started at the bottom and this year I’ll problem make 80,000 cutting concrete!
This channel has thought me a lot about concrete and Ryan has helped me with my job without even knowing it
@@erikrobles5727 Absolutely! I started off working at Pizza Hut 7.55 an hour. Then went on to doing apprentice work for a tile company making 12 an hour. Eventually went on to rebar work for the i4 project out here making 14 an hour. Now I’m out building houses in south Florida doing everything (besides masonry work) from underground plumbing all the way to punch out. Started out at 15 now I’m at 25 an hour! Like you said the younger generation doesn’t understand the concept of hard work and being to stick it out until you make the big $$$$$$$ thanks for the comment brother hope all is well! hey dude- boat mechanic here- check your bellows on that drive - thats the most common catastrophic failure on a I/O boat - also good measure to take a hose and fill your bilge up and make sure the bilge pump works and the auto switch as well

Ryan a little tip for you when you want to get tape to stick outside to anything use a gas torch just heat the back of the tape it will stick like a treat for you. I do it all the time.

That boat is so sweet. I got nervous seeing Daryl smiling at the end on the boat doing 50MPH. I didnt want him to loose his teeth on the water from the wind,LOLLL! and some big old bass hitting them as they sink to the bottom,HA! Cant beat a car engine in a boat for sure! Good Luck with that boat!
The kids are going to love waterskiing! My father taught us how to water ski and every summer since it was the thing we always looked forward to the most! Last day of school were were always packed up and on our way to our summer home on the lake. Best times of my life. My father was an electrician, worked 2 jobs, 7 days a week, but took off one month every summer at the lake to be with us. He was a happy man and a great Father, very similar qualities and traits that you have Ryan. Congratulations to you and your wife on your new baby! Life is good.

I started cleaning the restrooms... within 2 months I moved up to plumbing..a few months later I became a load builder... 6 months later I was offered a position in receiving as the assistant manager position... I declined because I loved working as a load builder...
I wish Menards would open stores in Texas...

Up till now I have watched about 85% of your videos and I have come to 1 simple conclusion you need to clone Bugs, with 3 of him you would never need another employee. I say this because you only have to give him information once, he gets to work before you and when you get on site he has already started working. Although I must say keep Daryl jr around he makes me laugh especially when you catch him sleeping. I am from the UK and I poured a little concrete when I was younger (not the amounts you pour) and there was no easy money, it is hard work and your boys (and Autumn) do great work.
