*Psychologist put it best: Corporate is where people who don't matter in the real world, can have value. The only reason why co/workers make you miserable is because, you remind them of their inferiority in the real world and they do not want to be reminded of it. Bonus/ the boss will fuel the campaign*

Came in right on time, toxic work environments are the worst. Nothing is worth the cost of your peace and sanity: not a job, not a relationship, nothing. Actively cutting out the negativity in my life.
I left a job due to toxicity. Women treat each other lousy and are very cliquey.
I know the feeling I got PTSD to this day. Men have done bad things but none of it has nearly been as bad as what women have put me through!
I’m glad I finally got a job where I met a woman that treats me good. She’s a blessing in my life. I hope you find the same
@@julieseverance6446 That's good to hear I'm so happy for you! I'm currently self employed thankfully haha but I dont think isolation is the complete answer since people need eachother. I've had a few good female bosses in the past though the ratio was like 2:10 hah! They stuck out to me though, I aspire to be like them when I am older and I want to uplift and mentor younger women. Women relationships can be a beautiful thing when you both try to uplift eachother rather than try to drag eachother down.
@@viviandaviss yes I agree. I don’t know why women don’t try to uplift and support each other. Work is hard enough as it is and women should try to get along.

This decision was not made until after I was bullied by my toxic supervisor, attempting to “convince” me that “everyone has a problem,” w/me.. ?
And b/c I showed self-esteem, providing examples opposite to her claims, I only faced even more hardship.
.. I agree, creating a side hustle & always network & market yourself to new opportunities, even while working.
The workforce has gotten to be more toxic over the years in my experience.
I find that more & more people whom are hired for managerial roles are actually incompetent.
And the immature, “high school” dynamic is a lot more prevalent.
Live your life for you b/c life is too short❤.
My manager and co workers don'tl ike me. They all micromanage me. I had a meeting with my manager and her manager. She said that i take too long on tasks, she said im too quiet at work, and my attendance but i have sick and vacation pay. I feel like they are trying to fire me because im being evaluated again for no reason at all. Hr doesn't do much. They want me to quit so bad so they purposely leave me by myself to finish their work while they all go on break. If i don't finish i get blamed for it. I always have narcissistic bosses. I know its temporary because im meant to be my own boss but its hard. Its every job smh 😢
*Do not I repeat do not quit, let them earn your absence. My trick when I was working at a job I hated, I would go on a walk & text someone from the real world. You have to remind yourself that this is a just a job and not your value.*
I’m the one that gets alienated and singled out and set up to fail😢 I get stuck with toxic hating ass bosses 95% of the time. My luck is bad so jobs I get high anxiety now

Just got out of an extremely toxic work environment as a new nurse. Luckily, I had a low key part time job that I am able to work full time until I find a place that is a better fit for me.

Yes, working in a toxic work environment can be extremely stressful and draining. I left and not looking back ❤ I believe God has something better for me.

Thank you for this Karine. One workforce bullied me to the poibt I felt worthless, useless and almost unlived myself. No matter what I did, the goal post was moved, everything was my fault and I was always wrong no matter what.
I would be given unrealistic deadlines for tasks I was only given half the info to complete and if I managed to complete the task/assignment, the goal post would be moved.
I was never given clear, precise, concise instruction to complete a task. I was always given wishywashy instructions and passive agressive comments if I pressed for more clear instructions on what the manager needed from me. If I failed to read minds, or failed to do it right correctly regardless of lack of communication/information, I was imcompetent or stupid.
I literally ran away from that job without another lined up because if I stayed, I would not be here now.
Guys, make sure you VET any company in the interview stage. This type of workplace is NOT worth it. No money in the world would make me deal with a company who treats employees like that.
I'd rather starve. Remember, HR is NOT there for you. They are there to protect the company. Period.

Karine, yes, I am so happy you made this video, girl!!! Every WOMAN manager that I had went three weeks to months without paying me my checks. I'm dead serious and have problems with mental health, high blood pressure, acne, and stomach bloating problems. Jealousy issues are really hard for some people. If people love themselves more often instead looking for a man or whoever, these problems wouldn't even exist. These women and men who are extremely jealous of people's hard work and beauty needs some serious soul searching and see a therapist. I know I get help, but these people needs help and walk around like nothing is wrong. Things are a little better at work, but I had to put my foot down so many times and had several nervous breakdowns🙁. I just still have my eyes opened, because I know that these people can't be trusted.
the thing about the "high school clique" is that Some shifts I work are mostly high school girls so they're already in the "clique mindset"
I was just talking about this in my journal i'm one of the youngest at my job and more mature than a lot of my coworkers but God got me and im grateful for where God has me right now and I have a plan that's what makes everything easier. God and knowing that this is just a season for me. A learning experience.

I work in healthcare, as a AA professional I know all too well about the mental and physical effects of staying in a toxic work environment. Though healthcare has security, how would you recommend mentioning past work experiences in interviews if you quit or left due to hostile work environments?
I used to work in the medical/healthcare industry as a Front Office Assistant at an walk-in care facility, and then a Home Healthcare Recruiter and that along with the restaurant industry were the most disgusting industries I have ever worked in. Everyone was so hateful and vulgar (demonic).
I worked in HR at a financial institution on the onboarding team for one of the largest financial institutions in the world, and that was the best for me.
Never bad mouth the company or boss. You can say something along the lines of, “I like an organized and team-oriented environment, and I was not getting that from my last work environment”. You could also say something about management such as, “My last manager was not as effective of a communicator as I would have liked them to be”. When you are clear, concise, and “professional” with your answers, it shows you are not throwing the company under the bus.
I have had a recruiter or hiring manager laugh and say, “You didn’t like your job, just say it!” And I felt he was trying to trap me , so I forgot what I responded, but if you ever get a recruiter or manager say that, go ahead and tell them you didn’t like immaturity and bickering, but keep it brief. If they don’t hire you because of that, it’s because they are toxic themselves!
If you really need a job, and notice they don’t hire you after being truthful, unfortunately just say something generic such as, “I am looking for growth opportunities”.

I was apart of the clique but I never felt good about it. I felt ashamed and I just told myself that I don’t owe these people nothing at my job and I don’t have to fit in with them because they are nobody. I got silent and stop talking speak and keep it moving.

Yes but you can’t afford to quit in this inflation. I filed an EEO and never stopped applying and just waiting for a job offer that’s better and the environment is better.

omg yes, for most of my life I have had these experiences like toxic workplaces....idk why this keeps happening for me again and again..I have been excluded for the most part....altho I am kind and friendly with people...they kind of exclude me no matter what..
