People might've taken inspiration mostly from hinata or kageyama, but Shinsuke Kita was the one that inspired me the most. He inspired me to do things everyday; properly everyday. He inspired me to make your things as rituals and follow them everyday. This seems a simple thought, but it holds an ocean on wisdom in itself. So, I am glad Haikyuu introduced such a character, whom we lovingly call : Shinsuke Kita.❤️

Kita is the one character in this show that can inspire anyone, because he's not a genius
He's not like Hinata or Kageyama who have freakish abilities. Kita is just a regular guy who's doing what he thinks is best. But the thing that makes him stand out is why he does it, not for applause. It's simply because he wants to and that he truly believes that if he shows absolute sincerity in everything he does then he can be satisfied.
I think that message hit me harder than any other message in this show
Maybe he had a talent you just failed to notice it all along
Hinata is literally the guy that doesn't have freakish abilities imo, it was just tons and tons of training
@@_capu hinata has superhuman agility, reflexes, and jump. Even though at the start of the series he didn't have a lot of technich, he is obviusly talented and built for volleyball (despite his height)

I think that Kita is one of those characters that doesn't have a tremendous impact at the beginning but that, at its core, has an incredible sapience. The point is that there are so many geniuses out there and we, ordinary people, are unlikely to be able to overcome them. But does that mean we won't work? I don't think so ... The real beauty of this is to do for our values, in a disciplined way, with conscience and self-critical thinking. And this is great. Because as much as we are "hidden" in this group of "fantastic" people, we can always do more and continue to progress. It is not the end result that matters ... It is the process ... The sooner we realize this the more grateful we can be... And Kita manages to make it appear in a very beautiful way :) (sorry for my english, it's not my native language)

Kita had the potential to surpass them , put that was not what he wanted to act upon , for him volleyball was just a part of him .If he devoted his life to volleyball like Hinata does in the Brazil arc ,he might have become a monster himself

He's doing it for himself and to not be surprised I feel is people telling him that they believe and trust in his skill and work ethic.
This is beautifully put together, I love it so much! Kita is my favorite character outside of the main cast ♡ He's someone I relate to but also someone to look up to.

I honestly say when I saw him for the first time, I was stunned and moved by everything he does, and my life turned upside down thanks to him.I see him as having a strong and straight personality and he deserves to be the hero of this series And I adore that nature so calm and so mature how much I respect this great leader❤

Somehow, this character slipped my attention when I was first watching the anime. Hence I never understood the hype around him (and the Miya twins as well): he seemed like a very boring person to me.
Right now, I'm trying to rewatch the series and your clip made me realise that this character does have very interesting colours to him. Because of you, I might try to pay more attention to him when I get to this ark. I have changed a lot since the days I first watched the anime. I was naive, young and didn't have the problems that I have now. And Kito might strike right into my heart with his poised attitude, personality and ideology that I can agree with.

He is my favorite character without a doubt. I love him and his character to accept and understand people. He was a true captain. Even though Kuro and Sawamura were amazing captain, Kita was the one that I absolutely accept as my favorite captain.
Kita is completely opposite of Oikawa. I like Oikawa but I prefer Kita's character more.
