Glad you like them! But I have a question. How did you manage to watch this one? It's not published and won't be until later this week. I mean, to be clear I have nothing against it whatsoever, I'm just genuinely curious cause I've noticed few months ago that some of my unpublished videos get views. Once again, I really have nothing against it, just need to solve this mystery for my mind's sake ;)

15:36 Are you sure this game is from 1996? It looks like something from the first half of 2000's. I mean it looks better than Quake 2, and Q2 was released in 1997.
100% sure. The footage is not though. ;) Batman... I mean Bruce made an error during editing, and it kinda stayed like it. I'd fix it, but my viewers are not very keen on any re-uploads. xD

And then at the end you mentioned it was an On-Rails Shooter, and then I looked it up and realized the footage was from the 2005 game of the same name :)

I thought it was really impressive how EverQuest built upon the genre and not only dominated the scene but inspired developers worldwide to rethink their game plans and focus on MMOs instead.
Yeah, and it's still popular! Most of games from back then are long dead. And it not only holds on, but thrives.

Same. Not often, as I don't get much time for games these days, a part of one day each week only. But I do from time to time.
Finally. After watching hours and hours of DOS and Windows games I finally found the one I was looking for: Deadlock. I played this at my cousin's house once and never got another chance and couldn't remember what it was called. That was almost 30 years ago and I've been on a quest ever since trying to find some old screenshot or video of the game. There's one other game I've been searching for though, it's a space simulation game where you have a little space ship you can travel between worlds with, harvesting their resources and fighting enemy ships, pretty sure it was a Windows game. Oh and also I've been looking for an futuristic space RTS game with space ships for all the units.

@@OldAndNewVideoGames i swear it was on windows and looked very similar to star control 1, like I don't think it had any cutscenes or anything. The gameplay of star control definitely looks just like the game I'm looking for, but for some reason I don't think it's the game. It's definitely not homeworld. Like, this game ran in like, little windows? I dunno man I was like 10 😂😂

Yeah, these are a bit of an overkill but many of my viewers prefer the long form, and since after I'm done with a season or a year (depending on the series) it's just a matter of getting it all together and very VERY light editing, I don't mind it. :)
