I'm a Police officer and I'm tired of taking these reports where people are scammed anywhere from 100 to seriously $50,000. It's quite unfortunate tho, *Grind techiei* Seriously thank you for flagging down these swindlers. You make me want to spend my next ten years learning how to do thIs.
The problem with using a vpn to access an exchange outlawed in the us is yeah its easy to access with vpn but if you try to withdraw to a us adress its going to be a problem
I suggest no to put a big amount. Couple exchanges freeze my account once the rules change and they require kyc
Read the updated "terms and conditions". Using MEXC from a restricted country (USA) can result in the "loss of coins", without being specific. I wouldn't put funds there. Gonna find them all locked/frozen/seized one day
Did you find another exchange that's better? I'm looking for a good way to get coins that aren't on the US exchanges.

True, my friend lost $12000 worth of ethereum, and he couldnt ever recover it. he was using a vpn browser called opera.

Why would you want to, I would think Coinbase is more secure and then just send crypto

I am down. I have been trading futures for many months on MEXC -- until yesterday they prevented me -- because I am in the USA. Is the ticket to just use a VPN that makes the entity think I am in an allowed country?

No . First you will lose your money even if you win big because of course they will take your deposit wigh vpn but try getting a wighdrawal with a us address or if you circumvent the system you are then committing a felony and even if its 5000$ you problably do more time than these rich people that steal millions because they can afford the best lawyers and pay big fines . The system is rigged . Many rich ppl have 2nd passports and dual residency to avoid us tax laws and hide $$ off shore

How do I put money onto it? Before all these exchanges were banned, I used to buy bitcoin on cashapp and send it over to kucoin. Will doing that now lock my funds on mexc even if I use a vpn?
There's a useful feature with NordVPN that I use is their KillSwitch which shuts down my browser if not connected to NordVPN (I use MEXC on different browser for trades). Always make sure that whenever you're visiting MEXC you're on a non-US IP address otherwise they could lock your account due to security.
How do i convert usdc to usdt on mexc? Most coins on there take usdt usdc.

Hello, i am on mexc I signed up through the vpn but when I try to buy crypto it sends me through the systems like moonpay etc etc where I have to kyc. They just asked me to type in a physical address. Am I doing something wrong? I'm new to this and don't have anyone to walk me through it in person. I was converting usd to usdt so I can buy crypto coins. I thought that what I was supposed to do but now unsure.
You cant use fiat-to-crypto features. You can only do crypto-crypto trades

Transfer usdt to mexc and buy the crypto. You have to use the stable coins on platforms like this

@@littlecyco_5718 MEXC can’t be accessed from United States IP but one possibility could be if a person had a remote assistant say in the Philippines, for example using a website like up work and that person signed up and let you use their account then use VPN

I used my vpn and signed up however when i wish to withdraw crypto i need to use google authentication which is attached to my cell number. What is the work around this?
🎯 luckily I only sent $40 to test it out my funds are locked as well. They want a mobile # or google authentication
Download the google authenticator app
You want to use the Google authentication app, set up google authentication for your MEXC account so that it's linked. This is extra security because if anyone else gets access to your MEXC account and wants to withdraw funds then they can easily do it without a 2nd security authentication which is set up on your phone. MEXC doesn't care about your cell number.

Don't have to worry about that 1. Just transfer to coinbase, sell it, and have that transaction on paper. And they'll top it off as capital gains. No need proof of transaction history on mexc other than coimbase.
I've heard they make an API that you can turn into a tax document or something like that. I've never done it so don't take any of this info as truth. Just what I've heard. Idk what api even means lol

You can use however of withdrawing to your bank account you will encounter issues like I did I couldn't take the money out but I did end up transferring out and swapping then sent to my wallet which I was about to get again withdraw after all the gas fees not worth the headache for me

@@lydiadolo6511 Since this is a non KYC account you won't be able to link a bank account to it. The key thing is to just get in buy and sell the crypto you want then transfer the crypto out to a safer place like your Ledger cold wallet for storage. Then transfer it back to MEXC when you're ready to sell and take profit on your crypto. This is the only way US users like us can get access to these other coins in the market.
For gas fees, you can check gas tracker websites and withdraw when there's less traffic or volume. Usually it's at night time or the weekend

It does work, you have to change the VPN to an allowed country IP address, such as Mexico or Japan, like he explains in the video.
