Some of the worst silver farming advice i have seen so far. Build a fort buster ship properly, and you can solo any of the forts excluding the lvl 14/15 forts. Raw material gathering from fort farming and making rum/gin/opium/snuff is the best way to make silver hands. down
The production cost reduction upgrades really do go a VERY long way. They are more essential now than ever.
I've noticed that the shipwrecks almost immediately respawn at least on xbox after the patch. So, You can just stay in one location and farm without server jumping

all I do is a supply runs. Make a bunch of liquor and contraband. And sell it. Boom money.
Yep. That's pretty easy to do. Then I just go and mess around with the other content in the game. Honestly, after readjusting to the new Helm set up, I actually spend less time tending the factories and doing what I want instead of doing a chore.
Yeah but you have to wait untill your stuff is made. This one is way faster to get silver

There is a silver box right next to the trader that I grab when I'm doing this method as well. Helps out alot
The wine and brandy can be sold on the same island as you bought it from (3 Dutchmans) if you just check out the guy on the front beach you tend to get a buy from the top of 1 or 2 green arrows down and the guy on the beach will give ya 1 green arrow up

You can sell it there for a small amount more Tha than purchasing it. If you leave to double arrows up and single for wine you'll get 200-300 more than your purchase price

I love the content bro i have use your videos a lot for ship builds and farming which is helpful. Also thank you for showing us what is the best build for the Sambuk ship ever since i have built the Sambuk its OP against the brigantine ship. I have even sent my friends your videos about skull and bones its helped them out too.
I found that some of the settlements and forts will also give you good marketing ranges like the outpost merchants, especially to buy commodities for cheap! It would be a good idea to try in order to find where the settlement/fort relics sell for high price.
you need like 1000 commodities to run some high lvl factories for a day.. i think ill just farm sugar cane poppies etc etc instead of spending the time for this..
Or you could just go out and take out the convoy that travels the trade route just north of Dutchman. In like 5 minutes, I have gotten close to 100 painting to sell at Kaa Mangrove.
The best way in my opinion is just sell gold skull rum and gin they sell for the same price to scurlock
opium is just useless for now i think.. rum if you already have the long nines ofcourse AND you need berries to boost Harufu for a faster result. thats my way. Since we all ran to boost up Harufu, for the next season we'll see :)

I personally like the 10 head method!! I go to the island by the ghost ship. Reason why is after you get to level 4 threat not only can you get the green smoke ships currently La Peste spawns there also and when random players come to kill ghost ship you can get in on that also. We did that for about 3 hrs and not only was it fun farming we got so much loot and silver. We would just go one at a time to offload at that island when we was full and kept leveling 4 threat. I feel like it’s a good way without all that logging on and off crap. That spot is just a win win place with LaPeste and ghost ship plus plague fleet!! I only have Red Isle factory 2@lev 10 rest lev 7 and get over 40k Po8 every 2days and doing that silver farming method in between keeps me with plenty of silver to fund them!! And just wrecking all them ships keeps me interested and having fun 🤩✌🏼

I just pick a fight with the DMC w/ peste heads as well; seems to add up fairly fast. Don't ignore them shipwrecks as well they can fetch up to 500 silver.

Have anyone noticed that they reduced the pieces of 8 production rate an hour for your manufacturing after the update. They up the storage capacity but lowered the production rate an hour which now takes 3x as long to fill up and costs more silver

Where can I sell the brandy for that price ? They offer me 188 😒 with the 2 arrows up and I been lookin for 1/2 map in the indies

That is why I mainly made this to show that it still works and needs fixing still.
A level 10 manufacturering/production site cost 40k to fund, with 19 locations in the Red Ilse it cost 760k silver to fund it all. How long do you need to do this method to get is amount of silver?
I have 5 lvl 10 that give me 22.500 Po8's every 49 hours and cost me 150.000 silver . If you upgraded all red isle location to lvl 10 you're doing it wrong . Take the 5 locations with the most trade routes and you'll be fine .
Yeah. I think in the beginning I took on more factories than what I could manage with the little time I have during the week. This update forced me to "downsize" to something more manageable and still get plenty Po8 without having to babysit the factories all the time.@@airborne1868
@@airborne1868 that depends on how you want to play this game. I liked sailing around for 30 min and collecting my coins wich the devs now destroyed.
@@RHB86 well it sounded more like you're complaining about the costs rather than the sailing part . I also think turning the game on and off for hours to get some silver is a pathetic way to play the game . That players actually consider doing that just blows my mind . But I agree devs took away playtime from a lot of players which I exclude myself , I payed to have fun not to work .
Genuinely think they need to look at lowering the manufacturing cost at least a bit. Even it it is about 20% reduction. It gets pretty crazy once you have quite a few over level 6. But I have found just selling the Gold skull and black lotus items is the easiest. Luckily I work from home so I can boot my PS5 up about once an hour to do the supply missions. Then do a fort when I am off work if I can get 2 or 3 to be on the same fort. The barque is a good ship for soloing the level 10 forts. Not sure how it would do on Grand fort or the other one that is harder.

The head farming is fun if u can take over a server with 10plus ppl using heads.
It barely works for me , sometimes I’ll load back in and it’ll still be out of stock on a new server. And then once it gets to the point of where they don’t have anything to sell , the stuff I have I bought there’s no one to sell it too 😅
@d3athwish can you run a poll asking whether saved pieces of 8 should or shouldnt be wiped at reset, seems to be a real sore point in the community
Thanks for the update again, I was struggling after the patch. Is the rogue farm from the helm run patched? I would like to know if farming resources are still a thing because who knows Ubisoft doesn't want us having fun around. Anyways hope you have a great day:)

Yeah there is no reason for them to patch it. Works as intended. Just takes a lot time and also silver to fast travel different places.
I just sold a lot of my crafted items yesterday and i'm at 990k now and still got like 3k stuff to sell. Making silver isnt hard even with lower amount of mats given.
Ditto sitting on 2m coin with 4k plus mats I haven't sold

Honestly, as someone who doesn't have a ton of time to put in I thought i was doing pretty good but after this uodate I can't fund anything anymore. Don't want to spend all my free time relogging for silver. Sad because I did really enjoy this game but not so sure now.
Fastest way to get silver and still have fun is refine your materials into the high lvl rum and opium you can then sell them to Rhama and Scurlock for 250 silver for each one I turned in 1000 gold rum to Scurlock and made 250000 for just doing the fort attacks and rogue attacks was having fun playing and making tons of silver
@@mitchellkeas3811 this is still what I do but with the reduced helm mats it just slows things way down and I don't always have the time to do big plunder runs.
Reinvest the Po8 you get into certain upgrades such as smuggler skill. Some of those gives you a boost in materials.@@tylerberrier8393

You don't need to do this. A real creator will tell you to just make black opium and gold rum and gold gin and sell them to scurloc for 250 each making you millions a day.

@@d3athwish I absolutely have known. Take a delivery contract out and farm the rogues. You'll get way more plus infamy plus silver chests. I run over 8 mil silver a day and I'm nowhere near lvl 10 on factories yet and get to have fun interacting in game.

1 ship = 720 mats
+ 2 for 600 silver = 144 mats
+ 4 for convoys = 288 mats
+ 1 easy fort = 410 mats
Total = 1562 mats minimum
1562÷2=781 gold product minimum, but +30% for perk while you online
781 x250 silver = 195250 silver, every 2 hours
In reality, you will spend a maximum of 30-40 minutes on all this

@@YomHus Inside Helm there is a board with missions, there are two tabs on the board, this board is updated every two hours.
On tab 1: there are 6 missions, 4 for 1200 silver, and 2 for 600 silver. You take them all and do them. Missions for 600 silver will bring you 72 materials, in total for these two missions you will receive 144 materials for products. Missions for 1200 silver will bring you 180 materials, but only there you must not buy materials from the ship, but kill the ship. In total, you will receive another 720 materials. Plus the 144 you got a little earlier, you have 720+144=864 materials.
On tab 2: destruction and capture missions. You take the easiest ones, these are 4 missions to destroy a pirate convoy, where you will receive 75 materials each. In total, for these 4 missions you have another plus 300 materials. Total 864+300=1164 materials. And on this tab, there is almost always a mission to capture a light form, with a reward of 410 materials. There are 3 types of such forts, where the reward is 410 materials, and all of them can be completed solo. The simplest of them is De Lu. In total you get 1164+410=1574 materials.
After that, from the received materials, you first make a purple product in Chelm, and then from the purple one, you make a gold one. And you sell this golden product (Rum and Gin for St. Anne, and tobacco for the eastern city) to Scarlet and Hama at a price of 250 per unit.
The most difficult thing here is to collect materials, but in reality, it is not at all difficult and very fast
Your math doesn't math , at least when it come to the 2 hours part . You have to collect the mats , you have to produce WSR , turn WSR into GSR , sell GSR . All that ain't gonna happen in 2 hours 🤣🤣🤣, not even mentioning that the average player with a full time job doesn't even play 2 hours a day .
@@airborne1868 Two hours is the time when mission materials are updated. And this entire list takes about 30 minutes, and that’s 30 minutes of play, not 30 minutes of entering and exiting the menu. And golden rum is produced itself, at night, while you sleep, or while you are at work. This is the best way to earn silver in the game

How do I unlock the helm
Inrersting but i prefer my method. Of keeping roving turn in and just kill the pirate ships that keep spawning. For every contract you can spawn 2 up to 8 if you have four contracts. Wach ship drops silver chests. If you use the upgrades each ship can drop about 1500 to 2500 silver per ship. Take about 2 minutes to kill 2 ships. This is on top of selling gold rum and gin plus the tobacco stuff and opiium to the annoying lady

How does this help a new player?
Yeah man because it’s getting harder and harder to get the June berries, the cane, the tobacco leaves and so on and then spend the next several hours trying to run that through your home just to spend this money to continue running your manufacture that are only making 45 an hour I can’t believe they changed that
That pisses me off man I work so hard to get those all the way up to nine and 10 so they could produce 180 to 450 coins an hour and now they screwed that all up

People like this make me laugh this is the reason why they always patch everything just because of CZcamsrs like this I don't know why CZcams put it on my channel the next minute the people who make the games going to end up patching let it make sense it always makes me laugh this what people do for life
It's part of the reason they changed how the Helm works in the first place. People kept using exploits and glitches. Some even cheated. So, now they are working on fixing things and most of the complaints are coming from those same people.
why is this not working for me?
The best way to make silver on the official discord is to sell your pieces of eight using the wager to drop and transfer the chest. Many players have made several million silver just by doing this alone and I've seen single sales of po8 reach 10 million silver or more. The developers and the discord mods all know about this and do nothing to stop it. So its apparently perfectly ok to buy spots on the leaderboard with silver and no effort. How is Dutchmans trick any worse than that?
This is a good way but, there is no guarantee that the transaction will be successful so it is a dangerous and can possibly be scammed so be careful of this method

Not really!!. Another good way is to target ships with rare goods, like ivory, nutmeg, vanilla, snuff dust ect. Sell it to diffrent venders an you get a bit of silver plus any silver you get of boarding ships. Do this inbetween yr black market misstion so you dont get board.. just a quick tip..😎👌

Hmm. After 1.3 dropped I was at 4.8 m silver. I just run 10 lvl 10 manufacturers. I’m a grouchy old sod so I just solo about doing whatever. These past few days I’ve just been doing plunders. My balance this am with all 10 going I had 6.9 million silver. I don’t understand how anyone is broke on silver. Every activity gives silver. Plunders are fun, engaging, provide materials, and every ship drops silver or silver and materials. Plus they spawn and come to you, no need to seek anything out at all. Plunder, plunder, plunder = very active gameplay, lots of ships to sink, no being broke.
I think the developers made changes to the Helm so they would interact with the other content in the game. I mean with all the complaints from people who were primarily just doing Helm stuff, complaining about lack of content. The devs said "There is content. You're just not participating in it." There is more content coming. I think the new ghost ship is coming up in the next week or two and maybe a couple of other things.
Your running 10 out of 76 that's why your not silver issues
I run all 76 at lvl10 and need 3.6mil silver every second day...
Well we talk again as soon as you have every manufactures. It burns you sooo fast out of silver. 4.8 mil silver is at this point just peanuts

Blueprints, weapons, armor, and furniture. Also, there is also other content to interact with. I think in the next week or two they're adding a new ghost ship and maybe another event or two. Give it a minute.

Bidenomics came to Skull & Bones super high inflation of silver costs and nerfing Po8 production into the ground as well as the amount of silver from chests. All these streamers that played this game allday everyday and have everything maxed and 1 Million Po8 are now looking at the casual player and saying "Sucks to be you" 😂.
As a casual player, I could care less about the leaderboard. Still trying to get certain items in the black market. Honestly, this helped me to rearrange the way I run my business. I spend less time micromanaging it and get the same or more than I did in one go than with the way it was before. Now, I can focus on the other content I'm interested in.
It WAS patched. Can't sell the wine on the same island. Rest is a mechanic till they hear it put like that. Smh
It was NOT patched! I just spent the last day and half doing this very method. Colleted 5352 Paintings, 5075 Bottles of Gin, 5186 Bottles of Brandy and 5030 Bottles of wine. Sold the paintings for 239 silver per painting (5352 x 239 = 1,279,129 silver), sold the gin for 362 silver per bottle (5075 x 362=1,837,150 silver), sold the brandy for 358 silver per bottle (5186 x 358=1,856,588 silver), sold the wine for 171 silver per bottle (5030 x 171=860,130 silver).
@@kevin_bright yes they indeed DID patch profiting from wine on the same island. Thus not needing a reason to leave it. The rest was reduced in profit across the board and a trading mechanic. You admitting to server hopping is on you and where in lies the exploit they will correct because of loose lipped clowns non the lesser.

@@victorvillarreal7460 I sold the brandy at Lost City of Prei at the Rempah Trader titled "Leader". Up the stairs off the beach, walk through the water, and up the long stairway to the left. Follow the rising smoke.

Ubisoft really messed up this game.
Not quite. I think they are testing some stuff to prepare for the season 2 fleet management. Best to get some of the hard parts out of the way and have everything adjusted accordingly than to piss people off on a more anticipated season when a lot of people will be returning to the game.
