Graphs are easier to read than bouncing voltages, you can sit it next to fuel trims and throttle and see what is happening over time. Also you can diagnose a cat this way by looking for a flat reading from downstream despite fuel trims and throttle changing
first of all, LOVE your videos! so my 2000 Yukon xl 2500 6.0 with LQ4 engine doesn't have O2 sensors from the factory! and no Catalytic Converters either! and it smells from the exhaust that it is running rich. any advice? THANKS FOR THE EXTREMLY GOOD VIDEOS.
got a 2000 gmc sierra 1500 5.3 got a P0300 code already changed spark plugs and coils and truck still has a bad miss fire and exhaust smells a lot like unburnt gas, also short term fuel trims are both staying at 99%. I did notice when the truck is driving and running at HIGHER😉 rpm’s it runs pretty fine any help?
@@MattsShop My "check engine: was NOT on. I replaces my AC Delco 02 sensors with Bosch. My check engine came on. I drove for around 200 miles, the check engine light stayed on. OBS Chevy Bearing . Drive Shaft Center Support Bearing . Had mined replaced today after it was making a vibration noises [looks like it moved out of place/loose/old bolts? rubber inner mount is offset & cracked, feels loose] Thought at first it was my brake pads. You can buy an 800 and easily get it to $355 crank 38, 3 torque just like an l83 very easily and you got a better transmission behind it and a better body better everything. I had a 2016 and it was the biggest pile of s*** the transmission went at 80,000, mi. The both upper control arms went.... Because there's no grease fittings any anywhere... Electric power steering is for minivans struts are for minivans... All in all I just stopped paying for it and told them to come get it because it wasn't worth it to me. That piece of s*** is not worth $30,000. Are you on glue? What so I have to do a transmission again in f****** 2 years or the upper control arms again in 2 years. Not to mention the AC condenser was starting to leak dude. I have a 23-year-old Yukon right now with 230,000 mi on it and everything works. My AC is ice cold

You didn't discuss bank 1 vs bank 2. Which side is which? Driver or passenger side?
Bank 1 Sensor 1 Driver
Bank 1 Sensor 2 Driver
Bank 2 Sensor 1 Passenger
Bank 2 Sensor 2 Passenger

It should work, but if you have to do emissions. It might cause a problem.
No emissions around here anymore but I do remember those days of stress hoping my beater would pass
Do you have one for OBS ?? I have a 92 yukon 5.7L

I have to do one soon. They are a pain to do. You have to get everything lined back up.
What about using ac delco 02 sensors aren't those better for gm teucks
Bosch and Denso are the best forgot to mention Denso
Code P0175 ring any bells?
I only use NTK sensors
Do they work well? I like Bosch and Denso.

Idea for new video, why is my engine knocking? My Hummer knocks normally at 70 mph. Idk😢
The fuel trims could be high. The lifters always tick at idle though.
Put oil in the pan
@@MattsShop I did upgrade the fuel pump to a high quality pump, delphi, it pumps much more fuel now, is there a way to regulate that?
