HOW TO CREATE ATMOSPHERIC BLACK METAL RIFFS

Here's my first ever tutorial on a genre.
I'm still doing the one EP per month in a different genre series, might start making quick tutorials to break down the basic components of the genres.

I use it for almost everything in standard tuning that doesn't need 8 strings or isn't a good fit for my jazz box.
The coil split and relatively high dynamic range pickups make it pretty versatile at that. Wish it also had the piezo that the more expensive flys have.

I run through a Headrush Gigboard for most things. Delay and reverb sometimes from a TC rack unit.
