Ah, yes. Aran. One of the very first classes that began the trend for new classes outside of Explorers (yes, technically Cygnus Knights were there too, but at that time they could level to 120 max, so they were more like a neat distraction from Explorers). Also, it came with a fun quest that made me break the 1000 combo in the East Domain of Perion map. Good times.
I'm so glad Aran aged perfectly. Not all classes need to be popular, but they sure do need to bring interesting gameplay options, and Aran doesn't disappoint.
So, about these mesos...
Oh wow I remember those combo quests. They took forever but were so fun!
i still remember my aran getting pt invite for pq because i was carrying a super snow board!
They sure were! It was my first time making any logical pathing plan to do it. Took several tries, because I had to depend on some luck, but boy- was that fun. :)
And yeah, no wonder. Super Snowboard back then was like showcasing your superior status among others. :D
Still remember the old days where I capped my Aran at Level 50 to provide monster carnival service back in 2009, snowboards were the only few pole arm with fast attack speed (iirc) during then. Also had my finger sore from mashing attack button for old Aran. Time really flies.

great summary of the aran! I've enjoyed aran so much more now that it isn't just arthritis the class
it's got a low skill floor, but it's also got some min-max techs that make it surprisingly powerful in a lot of bosses. being able to use final toss to dodge above a lot of attacks is great! Arans can also stay in the air for a deceptive amount of time thanks to aero strike, which basically lets you combo midair, and gives you a glide effect.

i love polearm weapons. they need to have another class with polearms!
You gotta love the 30 seconds of Freuds' blessing i-frame at the beginning of a boss fight which then is followed into your 1000 combo adrenaline hunter's prey 5 seconds of i-frames which then leads into the 10 seconds of blizzard tempest's bind burst where the boss cant do anything followed by the 6th job origin skill (started during the bind) which then at the end of it gives i-frames and also starts another bind and then adrenaline burst's hunter's prey 5 seconds of i-frame immediately after finally followed up by the couple seconds of i-frames you get with maha's domain. It's a surprising amount of not getting hurt
Aran has been my favorite class to main ever since the year it was released.
My first main back in the day. Played him right when it came out. Came back to maple in 2018 on and off until recently after playing this class again I got hooked. No class is this smooth
Although Paladin is best boy now, I'll still always have a soft spot for Aran. I used to adore them and even made one my main when they released, but Beyond Blade always felt like I was using magic instead of an actual polearm. Still a very fun and strong class however, so I always check out patch notes whenever they're available to make sure they weren't harmed.
Yeah, I used to main Aran because the polearm skills were so amazing for me, but then came the beyond blade and just wasn't for me anymore :
Aran legion effect only affects classes that use OG attack key. Hayato, aran, demon slayer etc.
da first truly legit and different class type at the time. yes, a warrior, but one of dem 'arcade' type warriors. gives ur fingers a good workout but not an insane workout. plus da aesthetics also truly legit as well. got me on dis character for a while before da demon arrived.
Been maining aran since release date. Best class ever
Love Aran when Aran was first released. Many complained about it being dull, but the swinging and hitting were all that matters. Quited Aran after they introduced Beyonder😢

How bad is to play aran without the special combo inputs

Recently came back to this class. Why does my adrenaline not activate automatically once I get 1000 combos?

Its not required anymore, you can go with filler skills instead if you cant get one with smash swing. Aran players still use smash swing node because of aero swing which can be beneficial for grinding on some map but thats about it :)

what "right click to lock command" means?
you can lock skills from activating via combo input, so you don't accidentally trigger something you don't want. But honestly, when you get comfortable with Aran skills, you will want to use everything by their commands instead of the skill button
I Miss Pre Big Bang Aran ;(!
Aran player since release and after years of playing the class amd developing carpel tunnel, i find other classes boring to play despite being easier to play.
I think its the combination of single button skills and low mobility whole mobbing was what detered me from leaving Aran as my main, that and the fact rhat, besides DK and demons, Aran has (had) the best healing in the game.
Abc'er here. All advantages and disadvantages aside, it's overall dmg output is very weak compared to other classes. Other classes can have 10k stats less and do equally as good. Fenrir crash is decent but can only be used 1/4th of the time. Otherwise no burst skills besides the 3th job skill adrenaline rush.
Simply not true. Aran is quite strong. Not the strongest but definitely not as weak as you’re making it sound
