I enjoyed Seal's rendition of "Who Wants to Live Forever." He really applied his own style to this awesome song and gave it justice. Nice tribute, Seal.
Queen was so special, all the guys in the band were such great artist at their crafts, then you top it off with Freddie's voice!!! dose it get better than that!!!! "crying" Freddie miss you buddy!
this is a great tribute to the one and only Freddie. Seal has done an awsome job knowing that he will be slatted for how ever he sings this magical song??
I love the way Seal looks. That type of glasses were popular in the early 90's. I think Seal is very handsome here in this video and I like the way he sings one of my fav songs....
When it comes to Freddy there can be no peers rly, but I gotta admit in this case Seal does put a nice ring to this song and is realy doing it justice !
How the remaining bandmates did this whole show without breaking down is a full tribute ...to have so many talented artists filling in for your brother for so many years !!
Damn, this sure sends shivers down the spine, i'll tell you that! Really Good!!! But NOTHING beats the original! R.I.P Freddie! Will always be in my heart.
I could not get over how huge his spectacles were.....! I laughed till i nearly pee-ed on myself! When i got over the laughter....He has done justice to Freddie's memory with his rendition...you can tell he sang it FOR Freddie...
lok how beautiful the stage is!! freddie was an extravagant performer and he would have lovedd it!!! im so upset he didn't get to live another 10 yrs when he had the chance to display his talent+ crzy genius ideas with the technology in the last 2 decades.
it is such a nice song but seal he make it special so warm and tender he has a great voice don't forget that freddie r.i.p i love your music and i will hearing your music till i die
This is the song that made Conor MacLeod a sympathetic character,in the first Highlander movie. All the sequels and the TV series about Duncan, owe their existence to this song.A truly powerfull song, indeed.
I agree totally. Another thing is, when Roger's playing the early slow drum parts, I can't help but see a haunted look on his face, the memory of a friend and a bandmate gone away.
this was in april if memory serves,Freddie passed november the year before..5 months isn't long enough to be stoic performing songs that were of vast importance to your life..I can't fathom how hard this was for Brian,Roger and John to do..great show
First I am not a Seal fan but I am impressive with his vocals in this song and Just to say thanks Seal for doing this song for Freddy and his fans. 5 STARS
A truly amazing song & a lasting testament to one of the greatest voices in music history. "who wants to live forever?, when love must die" kudos to you Mr.Mercury
Gripping, amazing performance. Seal really did this incredibley tough song justice. Freddie Mercury is the greatest ever and will never be replaced. He will be with us...INSIDE of us FOREVER!
There's no time for us There's no place for us What is this thing that builds our dreams, yet slips away from us? Who wants to live forever? Who wants to live forever? Oh ooo oh. There's no chance for us It's all decided for us This world has only one sweet moment set aside for us Who wants to live forever? Who wants to live forever? Oh ooo oh. Who dares to love forever? Oh oo woh, when love must die... But touch my tears...with your lips Touch my world...with your fingertips. And we can have forever And we can love forever Forever is our today Who wants to live forever? If we can't love forever Forever is our today Who lives forever anyway? Songwriters: May, Brian Harold
Brian May's guitar style is so defined, truly legend! I can pick his playing, when I heard him on Bat Out of Hell III. I was shocked, didn't even know he played on it till I heard the album...
*Who Wants to Live Forever* has been performed by a number of artists, each one interpreting it in his/her own unique style, yet staying faithful to the universal theme of our mortality. I enjoyed Seal's contribution here immensely. Blessings to Brian May; this song is a treasure.
I cried when hearing this song! Seal, you did an amazing performance. I believe Freddie would be very proud! Well done. REST IN PEACE, FREDDIE MERCURY!
Amazing!, Despite Freddies voice has no match, SEAL is the only one who could manage to sing this song with the same heart, and the same spirit. That can only be done by someone who has heard Freddie de great and really listened.
seal and freddy probably are the only 2 who can pull off this song, both hav such an effortless natural talent which is needed to show off a song of this type. in my opinion the greatest voice of the 80's in freddy and the 90's in seal
This is another example of the fact that covering Freddie Mercury isn't just about your voice; it's also about being able to perform the song and really sell it and put emotion into it the way that Freddie always did. (also I think early 90s Seal looked like Hermes from Futurama, but that's another thing)
Now you have to admit. This was the best damn part on the DVD. Seal did a great job. I'm not a big fan of his, but that performance made me respect him as a performer. And look, HE HAS HAIR :D:D:D
+Sophie Gee And, Rog himself was really rounding into top form as a drummer, finally, as well. He really held it all together with a muscular performance on this day/night.
He's always been very much a guy who shows his expressions & emotions, he does more than usual here though - you're right, it's the most emotional I've seen him. Seal does a brilliant job. My only disappointment is that Brian didn't sing the lead & backing vocals where he does normally, and that the ending really should have stayed the original ending. Brian's voice is haunting in this with Freddie, he wrote the song for Highlander but he also penned it from some personal battles he was facing at the time. I did wonder if that is WHY he didn't add his vocals. Brian has always been stoic, he rarely lets emotion show. But here he does let that facade slip - about 3.22. It's pretty clear he did it without thinking & it just happened to be caught on camera as it was on him at the time, he very clearly looks up to the sky. No idea if he's religious or atheist but even as an atheist (oddly I WAS raised by a Priest lol. One that supported same sex marriage in the 80's, I was a little kid & it was via him I first heard Queen) it's pretty clear he's looking up & thinking of Freddie watching, it's a rare time I've seen Brian show that emotion, it's obvious.
Seal's voice is perfect to this song
The shot of Seal singing with the light shining on him. Its like if Freddie is shining on him.
I enjoyed Seal's rendition of "Who Wants to Live Forever." He really applied his own style to this awesome song and gave it justice. Nice tribute, Seal.
This song paints such a bittersweet picture of immortality. An eternity of loneliness with only brief, fleeting moments of happiness.
Seal completely owned the stage, that night. He got to sing the best song, and he was amazing.
Seal did a fantastic job on this..one of my favorite songs. I think the song is a reflection of the human experience, period.
Wow, Seal sang this song really well. I'm sure Freddie was proud
Absolutely MAGICAL! Freddie's voice during this song always makes me choke up.
Epic rendition, never been a seal fan, but i think i just became one.
Seal did a awesome job here. How I miss real rock n roll. This almost hurts to watch. R.I.P. Freddie
Seal was the perfect choice for this song... he put so much emotion into it... magnificent
The greatest voice in pop pays tribute to the greatest voice in rock
This video makes me cry every time I see it, because Seal sings it with the emotion with which it was intended.
Seal is a really great singer. I love how he sings this song.
so touching and moving interpretation. He really gets my soul. Incredible. Worth to cry.
I love the way Seal looks. That type of glasses were popular in the early 90's. I think Seal is very handsome here in this video and I like the way he sings one of my fav songs....
There will never be another Freddie... unfortunately.
we raise our voices to you Freddie, you are...one in a million, thank you... thank you for the music....

Wow .. one of my favorite Queen songs .. not many can sing this .. Seal! When was this, I never seen Seal with hair ..
When it comes to Freddy there can be no peers rly, but I gotta admit in this case Seal does put a nice ring to this song and is realy doing it justice !

One of the most beautiful song that ever written!
Seal.. what a fascinating music style..
The best man to sing who wants to live forever..
Freddie was what we call a One Of a Kind ... R.I.P.
How the remaining bandmates did this whole show without breaking down is a full tribute ...to have so many talented artists filling in for your brother for so many years !!
A Beautiful man doing a tribute to another one of the worlds most Beautiful stars, Thanks Seal ~*~Amazing~*~
Damn, this sure sends shivers down the spine, i'll tell you that! Really Good!!!
But NOTHING beats the original!
R.I.P Freddie! Will always be in my heart.
i cant believe how well this suits the voice of seal. And how well he sung it, its a really hard song.
To this day, Seal's remains my favorite performance from the Freddie tribute show. Even more than George Michael.
Wonderful - one of the best performances of this show (regardless those terrible spectacles!).
THAT is ALOT of people...
A incredible good performance by Seal, well done.
Easy to see he sings it straight from the heart. Beautiful!!
Seal is the right man for this song! great cover
I could not get over how huge his spectacles were.....!
I laughed till i nearly pee-ed on myself!
When i got over the laughter....He has done justice to Freddie's memory with his rendition...you can tell he sang it FOR Freddie...
Oh my, it was sang by an Angel, something extraordinary.
love it.. this is one my favorite song.. but no one beats freddie... but this is also good...
wish I was old enough back then to attend such a concert, with freddie ofcourse. damn you freddie for leaving so early
lok how beautiful the stage is!! freddie was an extravagant performer and he would have lovedd it!!! im so upset he didn't get to live another 10 yrs when he had the chance to display his talent+ crzy genius ideas with the technology in the last 2 decades.

Fabiola Valdez Es verdade, Freddie es el diós de la música
The wall just got 10 feet taller and Mexico will pay for it.
Wow - this is a great performance.
when you hear the crowd singing alone it gives me goose bumps
it is such a nice song but seal he make it special
so warm and tender he has a great voice don't forget that
freddie r.i.p i love your music and i will hearing your music till i die
Wow! I got Chills! Love Seal...
NO ONE will ever compare to Feddie..BUT Seal does a very nice job of this, I feel excellent job really.
This is the song that made Conor MacLeod a sympathetic character,in the first Highlander movie. All the sequels and the TV series about Duncan, owe their existence to this song.A truly powerfull song, indeed.
I LOVE this song beyond words. So powerful!!!!

There's a guy from the X-Factor in Britain called Rhydian Roberts, he sung this song as cleanly as Seal with the power of Freddie, it's outstanding!
Freddie was a living God.
he did good with this one xxxxx my all time fav song RIP Freddie never forgotten xx
First I am not a Seal fan but I am impressive with his vocals in this song and Just to say thanks Seal for doing this song for Freddy and his fans.

I consider this concert to be the last of the great 80's charity concerts.
A truly amazing song & a lasting testament to one of the greatest voices in music history.

seal has a great voice...man forgot how good it was before hearing this
Brian May's guitar style is so defined, truly legend! I can pick his playing, when I heard him on Bat Out of Hell III. I was shocked, didn't even know he played on it till I heard the album...
Never would have recognised Seal with hair :S The first time I heard this song was when I watched this gig on TV, and Seal does a wonderful job here.
This performance would bring tears to a statue...

Nem tudok angolul, de azért a gyerekeim lefordítják. Tok mindegy nincs jelentősége imádom ezt a számon és Seeal csak egyszerűen és nagyszerűen jó.

One of the best of the concert.

The expression on Roger's face breaks my heart.
