They will make a “hide player stickers on guns” option. Maybe they link it to the “mute a player” function and it hides stickers on all their guns from your personal perspective
I don't understand how teams like NIP would pick IGLs like Alex for their team but gla1ve on the bench had just two teams interested in him. Maybe Astralis had a higher buyout for him than was necessary.
The sticker placement thing is weird, because Valve is a company that historically haven't even punished people for racist names or offensive profiles. So just assuming that Valve really cares about streamers (who generally mute all enemies and censor names) streaming guns with offensive images or caring about the image whatsoever is sorta unfounded. Either way I'll be interested to see how it gets handled. But I'm just assuming we'll get a setting option to remove all other player sticker or something similar to the muting, probably just a quick and dirty solution like the new change where you cant change load-outs during queue.
I've played 4 games since the update and have seen racist sticker combos in 2 of them. I hope valve adds a setting to disable stickers on guns that arnt your own soon since i just don't want that in my life, same reason i disabled profile pics in game and enemy team messages.
