I met Master Wong when i was visiting with Sifu Lai Hung in San Francisco.I also Observed him when he had his School in Sacramento,Ca.I once Observed him do a Tai Chi Form...Beautifully...Perfectly.Were it not for my Master Lai Hung,i would have joined Master Wong.He IS A TRUE MASTER,of the Old Traditions. His Spirit WAS/IS RADIANT.I was internally overwhelmed meeting him, being in his Presence.I can still feel him,his goodness, his care for his students, his people. He set the Standard for many like myself. The next life i will learn from him.

Respectfully, I don't think the title here is incorrect. I do not believe there is any "hsing yi" (xingyiquan) demonstrated in this video.
I had the opportunity this weekend to meet Grandmaster Wong at an event in Los Angeles on Saturday, and then spend some time with him, his students and grand students the following day. Grandmaster Wong showed me (and later his grand students) some of his baguazhang material. I demonstrated some baguazhang at the Saturday event, and when we met at the conclusion of the event, Grandmaster Wong started showing me some of his baguazhang.
From about 1:10 to 2:10, he is showing some movements from the baguazhang "mother palm" routine that he practices (8 different palms, only a few are shown here). From 2:10 to 2:40, he is demonstrating the first several techniques in what he said was bagua san shou (8 techniques, only a few are shown here).
I can see why you might have thought they were xingyiquan, because of the linear, advancing nature of the techniques which resembles xingyiquan. Grandmaster Wong described them as individual fighting methods/techniques (san shou) for baguazhang. I saw these techniques twice this past weekend -- once when he was showing me on Saturday, and then again when he was working with his grand students on Sunday. I have trained in baguazhang, xingyiquan, and taijiquan -- so I was keenly watching his explanation and could compare what he demonstrated to my knowledge of these arts. I also see how one of the "san shou" he demonstrates could be mistaken for pi quan (splitting) of xingyiquan -- and therefore, why you might have called the video "pakua & hsing yi demo."
Furthermore, I looked at Grandmaster Wong's school website (www.tigercrane.com/master.html), which explains that he studied the internal arts of Guang Ping taijiquan, baguazhang, and yiquan. There is no mention of xingyiquan.
I am not, however, a student or grand student of Grandmaster Wong so there may be others that have a better understanding of what is shown here.
    Thank you for this video.

The “Xing Yi” here is actually Huo tian Ba Gua of the Gao system not as described in the title as Xing Yi.
