When grabbing the link on Amazon the pedal does seem to have gone up in price but it’s a good example of what works. Hope it helps some people with a better Time Crisis experience without spending loads
Wow! Thank you for the idea. You just saved me so much money.
Haha, you’re welcome
If would be cool if you could invert the input.. so you press the button on the gun to duck down and standing is the default position with no button press.
Hmm, I wonder if thats possible, must look in to that
You sure can, use a micro switch with 3 connections. You can try both to see what's better
Looks great, gets me all nostalgic and exited.
How do you get into the retroarch configuration for time crisis ? Also when you map it, does it stay mapped when you exit/enter the game, shut down the system etc? - Very keen on knowing, i get a couple of pedals next week, and planning to do double gun/pedal build for PS 2 Time crisis 2+3 as well.
I’ve got a wireless keyboard plugged in that lets me get in to Retroarch and can configure from there. There does appear to be an issue where it won’t save the remapping. From doing some back and forth on the Batocera forms this is a long standing issue within retroarch itself and just hasn’t been fixed yet. Some have managed to get it to save but when they attempt to recreate the fix they can’t. Very annoying but it’s quick enough to remap
@@CHQArcade Fantastic, will just get in with keyboard and mouse (I am running batocera front end on my steam deck for this project) - I am running the v39 Beta, and will check with this next week when I get the pedals delivered. - Maybe an update if it is the same issue all across the board.
I've got this but it's moves, you have to grab it with the foot every time to not go away but it works well
Does appear to be staying in place mostly for me, moved a slight amount but not any that I would need to fumble about to find it again
