You know your stuff. That was the most detailed explanation of primary and secondary clutches, spring and helix I’ve ever heard. I learn a lot today. Thank you
Movaeble sheave as it moves outwards, the groove angles determine how much load the compression spring will compensate, the steeper angle the groove has,the lighter load a spring can give, thus translate to torque.
I purchased a 2013 maverick 1000r and it has this clutch set up my question is could you help me identify it and possibly tell what I need to know about servicing it
What modifications do you recommend to get as much of a slow throttle lead in as possible? I can't Reverse my 850 XC without crashing into things because the throttle is so direct and binary.
Hi great video. I just bought a 2013 commander 800 and found it has a stm secondary and a modded oem primery running 29” outlaws. The stm is a 40/50 hoping you can give me some info on the setup this guy had made on this machine.
(2015 XP 4 1000 bought used) I have full encapsulated helix with Gen 2 rollers(second from right in video, don't know angle ) with Gold spring secondary(no fin), and I think a R3p primary (purple or maroon spring cant tell). What would you suggest the best set up for Arizona trails/desert/hill climbs/dry river beds? I am running 30" tires roughly constant 500lb of riders weight.
