Jlo's media training would've involved accent training lol. When you're as big a star as her your team wants you to be as relatable as possible so they never want you to have to strong an accent and usually teach you are more generic accent lol. Leah doesn't even attempt to dial it down, she just embraces it. I was born and raised in queens and i can dial it back or let it rip depending on where I am, how tired I am, or how ticked off I am. But yes they are legit accents and you can't just flip into puerto rican bronx the way you can flip into Italian, but maybe that's just me.

This is great. I'm from the southwest and I'm so fascinated with the different cultures, within the US. I also love how every area has their own accents. New York is so diverse. It's so beautiful.
The Bronx itself is so diverse! I relocated to a neighboring state recently but still buy my pizza in The Bronx. So many communities, Caribbean, Jewish, Mexican, Dominican, Puerto Rican, Pakistani, etc.

No, it literally is like living on the opposite side of a continent. If you live in NYC, you only date within your borough. The traffic is so bad and the subways are such shit, that the other boroughs might as well be worlds away. If you do date somebody from another borough, it's considered a long-distance relationship and it rarely works out. There are millions of people on this island called "the city that never sleeps". And so, when it comes to dating, there's no need to look elsewhere when you could probably find a quality relationship from within a 5 block radius. THAT'S how big & congested it is. Don't let the map fool you.
