I bought one in January. I had used for years, but got tired of fixing cars on my day off from work. Hyundai venue for the money you pay, I feel you get a lot. I basically bought it for the warranty, and price. It’s not fancy or fast, but if you need transportation and not the joy of driving, then it’s a good buy.
For those on a budget, this is the go-to. You get very useful cargo room, standard features are solid for the price, and the price itself is fantastic. MSRP $19,999. And the base model comes with everything you need honestly. You don't need anything else. It gets the job done. Middle class is hurting, and this fits the bill, no pun intended
Venue is a cute like the interior so cool love it
Great review ! My mum purchased one of these matchbox crossover suv's, and she so far loves it . 😊
Currently researching the Venue. Thanks Ben for trooping out in the storm LOL
Insane Venue Ben !! ❤❤
Rental companies are going to have a field day with this car
I really like the style of the venue inside and out, but I wish it were a little bigger and more refined, more in line with the Kia Soul.
Ben, you need to get a ball cap in that weather 😅 I’ll pass on that car and stick with Chevy, but I don’t think I would ever buy a Trax either 😂
It’s pretty cute
I got one 3years ago I love 40mph an it's base model has more in it then my focus se
I loooove the styling of the venue so much!
My top wishes for the redesign:
-MORE POWA (plz and ty maybe even a hybrid option?)
-improve sound deadening especially at highway speeds
-AWD (which I know technically doesn’t make sense since they have the Kona buuut again I love how the Venue looks compared to the new Kona)
Less important:
-updated interior to fit Hyundai’s new lineup
-heated steering wheel
-panoramic sunroof
-adaptive cruise/highway drive assist
-LED Turn Signals & license plate lights
If Hyundai listened to you and added all that, the Venue would be $10,000 more expensive and no one would buy it. This is meant to be an affordable cheap basic entry level car
@@sachinnair91 Yeppers 🤷🏻♂️😭 Oh whale 🐳
Isn't Hyundai discontinuing the Venue model after the 2024 model?
Glad the 24 Venue comes with remote start, obviously blue link, keyless start and entry, stuff the 23 SEL doesn’t have. Actually have a 23 Venue and 24 Trax. Trax is wife’s ride. Trax is much bigger inside, is a lot more refined and powerful than the Venue. The Trax is also a lot more comfortable riding, drives a lot better. My venue has a few more tech features for the price with blind spot and rear cross traffic and sunroof but doesn’t have heated steering wheel, heated seats, remote start like the Trax. The Trax’s interior is like a luxury car compared to the plastics in the Venue. All in all I’d buy another Trax hands down over a Venue and they are very similar in price. I like the Venue’s styling and warranty and the 24 might be a little more improved but definitely recommend looking at the Trax before buying a Venue.
Isn’t the venue engine more powerful than the trax?
@@ronaldvitulli3479 the Venue has 121 hp 113 ft lb of torque, the Trax 137 hp 162 ft lb of torque. So the Trax is more powerful and you can feel that. The Trax is also turbocharged, the Venue is not. As for reliability this will probably make the Venue more reliable but not as powerful or fun to drive. The Venue has a CVT where the Trax has a 6 speed automatic regular transmission; you can definitely tell the difference here as well and I believe this makes the Trax a lot more fun to drive. The Trax has a 1.2 3 cylinder engine and the combo with the regular transmission actually gives you a nice sounding powertrain; the Venue does not, it almost sounds like a riding mower in comparison. What’s interesting is they are both Korean made rides. In the time we’ve owned both, the Trax has had a lot more glitches with the infotainment; it’s a lot more complicated with the noise cancellation system on it and its engine design. The Venue’s 1.6 is a well engineered engine (it’s variable value duration vs VVT, which is a better design than VVT) that produces adequate power most of the time (highway merging can be challenging sometimes) and gets far better fuel mileage than the Trax. In the long run I see the Venue being more reliable overall than the Trax. The Venue does a lot of things right and has a long warranty. The Venue is less expensive to maintain as well with 3 years free maintenance and better fuel economy. But as one of 2024 Car and Driver’s 10 best the Trax is hard to beat; it’s more powerful and better accelerating than the Venue.
I personally think the Hyundai is ugly inside /out.
Not to mention the lack of horsepower, pound-feet of torque compared to the Trax, it also cost more.
My opinion there's no comparison, Chevy Trax all the way. The 1.2 L engine been in uses since 2021, Chevy trailblazer, Buick GX very reliable.
The Six-speed automatic transmission has been in uses for 10 years, very reliable.
Chevy Trax all the way! Besides did I mention I think the Hyundai is ugly!
The Venue is a neat little sub-compact but the gas mileage is pretty terrible for what it is. The 2024 Subaru Crosstrek Sport with the 2.5L has the same hwy mpg rating of 33 mpg but with 61 more horsepower, AWD and is about 500 lbs heavier. Of course the Venue has the price advantage of being about $5k cheaper.
Increase MPG a bit more.
I like the styling of the Trax better.
That's because this is the old style venue it came out in 2021 in INDIA the design has been updated if that design comes in USA it will be way bettwr.
Get an umbrella bro
I get recommended videos of this car from india and they look much better, I think it is a more popular car there
Most likely😅😅
The Hyundai's ugh, trax looks way better inside and out!
I rented one of these (2021 model) while my 2018 CR-V was getting body work repaired. I did not like how the Venue drove at all, the engine was slow and noisy, and it wasn't even as fuel-efficient as my bigger (and more powerful) CR-V. The CVT was very "rubber band-y" and was slow to respond. And also, road and wind noise were pretty loud and the brakes were incredibly touchy. For the price, not too bad I guess, but I was very happy to get back into my car after it was fixed, lol.
Just brought this car today 😂
How about car sounds when you go fast more than 70 ?!
@@EmanQueen80pretty loud
I bought a 2024 chevy trax last year and that thing didnt last me a day. Got it brand new at 7 miles and at 60 miles after 12 hrs of owning it never turned back on...
They say what was wrong with it? I see a lot of em driving around now.
@@SAVAGEoLIFEI returned and got my money back instantly. I didn’t even ask. I just let it go. Now I know a mechanic that works at Chevy and he said their an issue with the infotainment system which makes the car not turn on. The trax is a beautiful car tho
@@SnipetsofTime damn that sucks. Hopefully they fix all the issues in the next year model
@@SAVAGEoLIFEthey will. It seems like such a high demand vehicle but it’s beautiful and economical
Oh my goodness. You are always in bad weather.
Don't describe the brakes. They aren't important.
Dont like the front end
The Venue will be far better at getting stolen 😂
Not as good as the Chevy trax but it’s ok
didn’t know that chevy had tractors 😮
@@JoseDiaz-qw7mg auto correct 😂😂😂
Not matter if the engine is smaller ?
Crap of the crap
?
Bro what else do you expect at 19k. Tell me another car that costs less than 20k has snow mode.
Not crap I have one rides nice .
I have one to not crap at all
@@rg-dz4rm exactly they are expecting a 19k car to drive and look and have materials like an 40k audi.
There both junk
Corolla is junk, these 2 are great
