I'll be honest. I would resub for this. It may be silly, but I first started playing WoW in BC, just before WoTLK was released. My friends and wife all played dranei. So Azuremyst and bloodmyst are kind of like "home" in WoW terms. I also played the Night Elf starter zone.. and there was something almost perfect about Azuremyst and Bloodmyst. The pacing, the story, and the way you became a podunk, back-water, no-name town of refugee's Hero. They all came out and clapped for you. You felt like, wow. I did something here and am appreciated. Of course, no one outside has heard of you, but that little moment in Bloodmyst is your first time your character is a HERO. None of this Instant Hero of Azaroth, just Hero of some refugees, in a backwater, in the middle of nowhere. Seeing this, the final completion of that story, the cleansing of Bloodmyst, all these decades later, completes that. It just "feels good man".

I don't know how to feel about this quest, Velen is more weird than ever... He really give the vibe of an old geezer who try his best by doing nothing.
Hatuun and Arzaal are great and I can't wait to see what they will do in the futur. I hope Velen could be more of what he was in the book, a great leader who is not afraid of fighting but also know when to stop a battle.
It feels like they are trying to get rid of the "Old" leaders. Shandris being leader of Night Elves, Velen passing the mantle to god knows who etc.
They definitely went for a "This'll make them feel the feels" thing.
Which is fine, but like... We need more interactions, more backstory, more insight that we won't get until plot.

I think it's because the game just doesn't have enough content in-game to portray these character and it's clear Blizz will write books about everything while in-game we get the "Passing of the torch" or "we are now as one" cliches, but the context, as it is, isn't fulfilling.
@@zonolith5912 not just that the Man’ari having regrets about hunting them down makes 0 sense that when in context they are fully corrupted to serve Sargeras, which happened by Sargeras himself not like the orcs and Mannoroth.
It’s the main reason why Kil’Jaeden’s regret makes more sense, since the blood fueled haze and anger was lifted by the demon fire being put out in his body.
The whole Man’ari becoming good guys cheapens the threat of Sargeras, when we know he’s still alive and a threat
All who enter here, keep your expectations lower than the fall-zone of the Outlands: We will likely never see Broken Allied Race.
This will fuck up the whole 'Eredar are a no go in RP and we will ignore them!!' Draenei in the Exodar :D :D

If the horde got all trolls empires actually united they would be too powerful, lore wise each Zul would be part of the horde, that is a MASSIVE boost even if most of them are destroyed or at least in bad shape, but imagine the shipping lanes, trade routes, man power, exchange of knowledge... too op, too op.

Amazing heritage quest, I am so ready for New Shattrath on Azeroth. People saying this is bad lore really need to learn how to move on from edgy corpse ladies, it says more about you than it does about the game.

Uniting everyone is making the game weaker, not stronger. Horde is a council, Trolls are united under the Horde, Undead is a council, Dragons are united, Elves will be united, Draenei are united. There keeps being less and less war in our warcraft.
Given how everyone pretty much hated BFA and its "Horde vs Alliance" shoved down everyone's throat, Blizz pretty much said they're never doing another full-scale war like that as an expansion again; and now the playerbase can play with one another regardless of faction for guilds/raiding; so the "war" in the warcraft is just shifting to be against external forces -- rather than red vs blue.
Why is horde vs alliance the only war you people seem to want? As if wars against undead armies, nationalist orcs, or endless demons, and our void invasion on the way don't count.

This cleansing of the bloodmyst is so poorly made. The source of corruption wasn't even at Axxarien. It was at that biggest piece of a ship where Sironas was originally in TBC. Its like they are going to cleanse the EPL by killing Zaeldarr the Outcast again.
They are going to exploit the broken and red skins as they build skyscrapers? Like Dubai with folks from India?

The Draenei have learned well from the Alliance in their forgiveness of multiple genocides.
More specifically, if they can tolerate the orcs for the Path of Glory this isn't exactly out of the blue
@@Hyaskus I also think the Draenei forgiving the orcs is goofy lol. That's also a more recent genocide and the orcs were heavily manipulated by the Legion. The Man'ari purposely hunted the draenei for thousands of years across the stars. Kil'Jaeden was their most hated enemy and was even responsible for the orc genocide in the first place. you can't really equate the two.

I always just interpreted as Velen seeing his own son die and realizing that like the Draenei the Man'ari host the old heads are a minority compared to a new generation where it was all they've ever known and thus they didn't fully "choose" it.
