I’ve never been in a gang but I’ve learned a lot from people over the years and to other criminals someone like Brice is a liability for a lot of reasons. Most people who join gangs go after a specific side ie bloods or Crips . Gangs are similar to religious in the sense you only rep your one “God” just like you can’t call yourself a Christian and worship “Allah”.
You can’t be seen as someone who’s able to flip sides on a dime. If you’re willing to join any gang that just means that your ass isn’t loyal to anyone.

Brice is the epitome of that one weird guy who never seemed to party with/have any friends his own age, and always turned up to high school parties like 3 or 4 years after he’s already graduated from the school that all the other kids are still attending

My high school had that token older guy. He did start a gang with his younger brother and his high school friends.
It resulted in an almost deadly assault. They beat up a guy with baseball bats, gave him a head injury. Luckily he survived. This did ruin the lives of the younger kids this guy recruited (got expelled and young offender charges).
I literally teach kids like this. They get pulled into these worlds so young, you have no idea. Like 3rd/4th grade sometimes, middle school for sure, what I teach. Like all my students have music videos like this, have access to guns and weed, all the time. And they all are just sweet (mostly) little lost nuggets exposed to waaaaaay too much.
If you want to help and live in a city, volunteer at public schools PLEASE! And just go be yourself and try to help the teachers in classrooms work one on one with students doing everyday assignments. It’s so easy! Don’t be scared or offended. They all just want attention and love! ❤️
please consider covering the bizarre disappearance of Gage Daniel(6yrs old) and Chloie Leverette(8yrs old). Their grandparents had custody of both children. On September 23rd 2013 a blazing house fire was put out by firefighters. The burnt remains of the elderly couple were found down in the basement lying side-by-side on the concrete floor. The basement door stayed locked at all times because that's where the man's tools were kept. The charred remains of their beloved dog were located, and even their little yellow parakeet. BIZARRELY NO remains of the children could be located at the scene, whatsoever. Investigators say that the only item missing from the home was a large safe. To this day Gage and Chloie have never been seen or heard from again.

I'm just baffled as to how he was allowed around anyone underage including his own child if he's a registered sex offender! I actually grew up with these people, and went to school with jacory, in that town it’s very common for minors (atleast back then) to be introduced into that world. I had a fake ID by the age of 13, we were introduced to drugs and adults did not care at all! This tragedy has been in our hearts forever because it could have been any of us!! She definitely knew what happened when here sons went missing and she didn’t even report them missing! And you’re right anjuan was VERY remorseful. This case is sad, Brice is a complete bafoon, the the point it's comical, which is sad because nothing about what happened in this should be funny. It's even more sad that he wasn't kept in prison for the multiple felonies he had committed prior to the 1st murder. Courts always seem to give multiple chances to people who deserve it the least.

This shows the profound need for outreach programs for children, especially those who are *at risk.* What's sad is Louisville is so racist and the judicial system is so biased that had they not been murdered, Reece and Larry would have gotten life in prison for their 'participation' despite being children who were failed more than once by the people who should have looked out for them.

So many young lives lost to one stupid idiot for literally no reason....I feel so sorry for those boys, they met the wrong person at a way too young age to realize the danger in time. May they rest in peace, as well as Christopher, who was just at the wrong place at the wrong time. And while the other boys were absolutely complicit and should've known better, I think they are also his victims to a degree. I wish the police would've just kept Brice in prison when it was soooo very obvious that he wasn't trying in the least to be a decent person.

I just want to point out that lots of people with ADHD get called "lazy," when they're actually not. I can't speak about Bryce, but I have several close friends with ADHD who struggle with executive function, which is the ability to start tasks. Even if they REALLY WANT to do something, or REALLY NEED to do it with terrible consequences, their brains literally paralyze them, and they can't initiate the task. There's also pathological demand avoidance, which some neurodivergent individuals experience. It's a condition where a "demand" initiates the flight-or-fight response, making individuals pathologically unwilling to do the task. It's not just things like homework and chores--a friend telling them "You HAVE to see this movie!" or even having to go to the bathroom can trigger it. It's very difficult to function with, and the individuals don't WANT to struggle with it, but it looks like defiance and laziness to people on the outside.
