- Our new film Unspoken Spoken, directed and choreographed by Fin Walker, performed by disabled and non-disabled dancers.
We encounter five characters, each with his or her own rules to question, to surrender to, to fight against. Some younger, some older, they ask us to look deeper, to explore our own boundaries. What changes if we face up to what is holding us back?
Featuring Jess Dowdeswell, a 14-year old who dances without her wheelchair, and Jemima Hoadley, who narrates the story through British Sign Language, voice and movement, Unspoken Spoken exposes the potential that exists when we dare to challenge the rules.

I came here because of a documentary I saw. What a wonderful and inspiring film!!!
I had other things I needed to do, but I couldn't stop feeling. So I kept watching.
I met Candoco after research into dance in differentiated bodies. And I saw in the work of the dance company the deep respect for being and its particularities. Inspiring work!
I....loved this. It was so expressive and beautiful and so much attention was paid to even the smallest details (eye movement, expression, hand gestures) that made so much detail.
Beautiful It's a great Way to Show The People How To Break the limit
So carefully made. Great
Met Candoco in 1994 when they danced at a festival in Warwickshire. This is brilliant.
That is a beautiful piece of art.❤
