Richard with aethel pair could probably make the cut. Richard active skill has slow which activates aethel bonus 20% damage to slowed enemies. More of a tank/utility march rather than a punching pair but works very good as 1 of your murderball march in kvk2
Its my first kvk 2 and my commanders are flop. This is my only decent pair since my YSg is 5522 and i agree that trichard aethel is a great march
This was by far the most useful vid I've seen here. Plz do more for Lvl 15-25 players. I'm guessing that's probably most of your audience. I just subbed, so look forward to some stuff that's maybe more in range. Such as this video. Thanks.
This video is exclusively for people who've migrated back to KVK 2 from future seasons. If you're in KVK 2 naturally, you wont have been able to obtain some of the commanders in this video.
Just a PSA for anyone that values their 18 minutes of time.
Faxx, went into this to know what I as a native can use against these fckn migrators that have all future commanders maxed. I mean most of them are farmer whales and shitty players that migrated back for easy kills but still would like to know if there’s anything in my arsenal at the moment that i can use effectively lmaoo Alex comes out almost by the end of KvK and Saladin was pretty much exclusive to all the whales that had like years worth of speeds 🤬

If we include Alex Martel rather than Alex sun then we loose alot on aoe value
Alex won't be the first one to be picked since we have ed in the combo so using a defensive commander like Martel would Dec the ammount of kills you'd get
Pretty much yes. But if you so in so new kingdom that haven't Alex yet, then yes. Also u get Saladin after kvk2 too.

I am surprised I didn’t see a Saladin/khan combo. Saladin is tanky and khan packs a punch, with a rage build it’s veryyy solid
by now you should know, chisgule is all a bout aoe...and no one can deny Alexander the must commander to anyone..
In kvk2 Saladin /Khan is little bit class Cannon. Also u get Saladin after kvk2, not in beginning of kvk2 so it won't help much there.

Mehmed is strong as heck in kvk2. So if you spend at all, buy bundles that give some gold keys. Don't use gold heads, except maybe Charles who is good even in SOC kvk's. In other's you regret spending heads and having gazillion Mulan, El Cid, Cao Cao sculptures.
For open field, I think they would be in honorable mentions. But I think its a great high damage rally pair

I was wondering, do you plan to revisit this video/concept after the changes to KvK3 ?
I'm currently at KvK1 and having a great time playing my first RoK playthrough and your videos have been really helpful but I find myself really scared about KvK2 after all these changes and have no idea what I should invest in as a low spender and how to be still able to fight in KvK2 while essentially having 0 new commander to bring out in the field.
This video is mainly people that are in soc going back to kvk 2 and kvk 2 is full of whales
for me , im an infantry player in K2 , so these are my marches :

Alex / Yi
Cm/sun
Cons / joan

Inf as you'll have more bonuses for them from the inf talent tree.

Infantry also has way more sustain as well. Can't go wrong with infantry. I suppose it's a matter of opinion, but archers are way too squishy, and you're done-zo as soon as you're focused.

A sad thing happened to me with YSG. The LAST YSG wheel had like 10 minutes left and i had spun it 9 times and i had 8 YSG heads and i was gathering gems and fighting barbs in KvK1 and I was 40 GEMS SHORT OF YSG!! So now I dont have YSG.
Many still use alex ysg in soc
For the epics Mundeok/Scipio is a surprisingly decent tank-pairing. I toss Scipio in the secondary slot and my best gear on Uljie 💪

Please put together a similar list to this not using MG commanders. 95% of all people going into KVK 2 will not have them

2 - Richard/JoA
3 - Saladin/Mehmed
4 - Aeflethed/Mulan
5 - Edward/Tomyris
You know, instead of Alex and/or YSG in each of the top 4. Confusing for newbs.

The majority of kvk2 fighters only have 1 or 2 legendary commanders expertised

You missed Alex Charles absolutely amazing pair in kvk 2
Definitely a good pair, though I like it more with CM primary for the damage boost. I could be wrong, but CM seems to serve any march he's in better as the primary, so that his damage boost procs before the secondaries active skill pops off. One thing I'm not certain of though, do their shields stack?
Can you do one for Garrisons and Rally
I'm fielding 3 marches in kvk 2, and its always a tough decision where to place ysg. I place my ysg secondary to el cid. There are so many infantry marches, I had to find a better way to use ysg skill damage to exploit that. It works for me but everyone has their different opinions.
is wu zetian avaiable in kvk2 ? can you make a video with rally and garrison top pair in kvk2 and light vs darkness :) tyvm
You can't use Wu Zetian in kvk 2, even if you migrate back. She'll be good in kvk 3, since SoC commanders still can't be used. After that, she's irrelevant unfortunately

In Open field Alex Sun Tzu Keira YSG for KVK 2 are top tier pairs IMO but that is My opinion

@@desaifamily8239 BTW Kusonoki YSG is top tier garisson vs Infnatry in Kvk 2 and not bad against Edward tomyris because he takes of Tomyris poison Saladin YSG Charles YSG and Kusonoki YSG are the best garissons for Kvk 2 for each troop Type there is Also Charles Constantine garisson which can be good to vs Cav itspecially.

In KVK 2 Khan is a beast, I would have paired Saladin/Khan is better than Saladin/YSG. Also if you want to use ysg with Saladin and have Khan to be paried, JC is a really good option to pair Khan with. JC as second will add alot of tankiness and buff khan's skill from 2nd skill cycle when holding your ground. Also Alex paired with JC will outperform Atila takeda for single target dmg.

khan/saladin or saladin/khan should definitely be on the list somewhere.
Eh, I feel like khan is an awful investment, as he falls off quickly. Save those universals for Nevsky. Khan is incredibly squishy, and if he gets focused, gg. Nevsky is an absolute beast out there, and pairs well with several commanders. You won't be sorry you waited.
Saladin though.... I can get with Saladin. Hes on the field still, even in soc.

With Imhotep and thutmose added does this list change any?
Thutmose is an extremely viable archer, can be paired with any other archer. Imhotep also really strong for big group fights.

What would your top 5 be in practice where you can't use YSG in more than one march?
I'd recommend adding Matilda to your list, particularly if you do a budget version, I'm honestly planning to use Aethel/Matilda in my upcoming KvK2.

Of course with siege. Although I do add a few other troops to activate Aethel's skill.
Matilda is the top end of PvP epics, if more people tested this sort of thing it'd be widely known but unfortunately most people are stuck in the old fashioned mindset: siege can never be combat viable.

Chisqule ..Here are my top 5 marches. Alex/ysg ysg/Alex ysg/Saladin Saladin/athel Athelstan/Alex lol. They are all the same !!!!! You have to give us 10 different commanders to get to five marches. Not the same ones over and over again lol
Lilith should make it after KvK 4 your kingdom has a option to go back to KvK 1 (just for fun)

It’s ok yeah , but with the new times of servers now we don’t unlock Alex till half way though kvk 2 now, I have a Richard 5541 but useless now as migrates have Alex 🤦🏼♂️

Great pairs, but as an inf primary I'm gonna bring Alex Martel, Richard ysg and Sala aethel
You are going to prefer CM + YSG, Richard + Alex, and Saladin + Aethel in that setup. If you can do 3 infantry marches with those commanders, then Richard + Aethel, Alex + YSG, and CM + Sun Tzu would do even better.
Alex + CM is great for rallies, especially city rallies, but doesn't really do much in the OF because it's all single target.

Gold keys unlock her. Save them up and open 100+ at a time. Not 1 at a time as you get them. You'll get better results.

@@mandotheory There's also an achievement for opening 200 or more at once. So hit that first. Once you see that result, you'll keep saving. You get 1 a day from dailies + random events + random alliance chests + some chests you buy (if you spend at all) have them. So they come fairly quickly.
