Plot twist: move and angle your camera correctly
still not as good
@@11_Eli its the exact same; what are you saying?
edit: ratio
@@11_Eli You can do the exact same thing with edit on release, you can make a right hand peek with edit on release by angling your camera and moving it down after making the edit. If you're not completely horrible at the game you can do it with ease, no matter how good you are. So before trying to argue with someone, maybe try and see if you're just not good enough to do what they're saying, now leave me alone.
@@RaxeOnYT yes but you can't put your crossfire on the tile for garunteed shot, das all im saying with it off you literally cant put your cross hair on the opponent if they move, you can adapt more with off
@@RaxeOnYT not Trina argue its just 2 opinions 🤷 arguments come along when you get mad and stuff i never get mad just here to let you know off you literally can put your crossfire on the enemy no matter what
If your looking for a better angle during your edit then just continue looking at where you first started editing…
fr bro 😂
Yeah
i think you might be a bit slow icl
@@zevfn101or maybe u jus don’t understand what i said 5 months ago☠️
@@zevfn101I think you don't understand
I never even knew confirm edit release was a thing until a month ago, I always manually edited and reset
I rarely have these issues but they are still present and occasionally happen, but I just chalk it down to it being a bad peak granted that I have EOR on, and on top of that you should almost always have a cone in your box which helps with corner peaks ten fold
Also that window edit thing is definitely possible with edit on release on, if you move your camera to the right while moving to the left. Completely understand you, i also have this same situation
@@demonharleygd7884 yeah it’s just minor “ work arounds “ or more accurately, adapting to your settings / playstyle, and with 1 button reset on controller now, editing and overall fighting just got a lot better
@@Retroskiii yeah i absolutely love the change it made for me as well, used it from day 2 after the update and now already its better
Same
You explained it way better than I do when ppl ask me
fr
What do you think is the best button to confirm the edit if you edit with L3?
I play and do use it to confirm
Use any of the numbers or the left trigger
Thank you for your answers i‘ll try it out
L1
L3 is really bad for editing it ruins your movement i suggest play double claw and use touchpad since it is like a mouse button. Ive only started 1 month ago on controller and im div 8 i edit quad edits back to back and its only cause of good optimized settings and yes confirm edit on release off. I use touchpad edit r1 select triangle confirm
People always say this but in reality you can do all the same peaks with EOR it just takes practice, yes its harder but if you learn it its not much of a difference. Whereas the benefit to being able to edit that much quicker is worth it imo. Its all just preference, but its only worth it if you are willing to work on your peaks.
I agree, ya don't necessarily have to drag the edit but just keep your cross hair where you want it to be and then release the edit🤷♂️
@@tg_triz6389 your crosshair will be fucked so off is much better
Thank you 😂 it’s just preference
Also you can still confirm some edits if you want this string just puts another option out there
no quit literally if you use EOR no matter what you do you’re peek is not gonna be as good as someone with it off.
this is why I still use double edit binds. It has all the benefits of confirm on release without the downsides like not being able to reposition ur crosshair while holding an edit
scroll wheel reset is way more usefull than any of this, and u dont get that with double edit binds
@@slimywonton7062 theres a way to get scroll wheel reset with double edit binds, it just requires fiddling with mouse software
@@slimywonton7062how do I set that up
@@slimywonton7062Most people that uses double edit binds uses scroll reset as well. The way to do it is to use your mouse software to bind your side button as the key ou use to edit, that way you have the two buttons you need but only using one bind space on your settings, the other one ou can just bind to your scroll.
You can just not let go of left click for your mouse untill you got the shot lined up on confirm on release
Did you just tell a controller player to no let go of left click 😂
your actually a little slow
@@furious3477same thing bro left click, whatever button u use to shoot or edit😐
but then you would look at the tile and select it 🤦♂️
@@calebpulido3426 you look like a thumb
I've always prioritised fighting over building so I can keep an eye on the opponent instead of just building towards them and getting edit coursed on
Edit on release isn't that hard it's rlly easy and I can still track people make optimal edits and everything I guess I'm just different since I started playing with it on and now I know everything it's like a Fortnite ultra instinct for me
@@NukzFN-2 not to mention half of the people saying edit on release is “bad for edits” dont drag their crosshair, like if you do a top corner edit, legit keep your crosshair on the edited tiles, walk to the left or right depending on your peak, edit, and either flick or just line up your crosshair before jumping, never had a problem with edit on release on controller, and especially not on kbm
@@NukzFN-2 q1❤
then you should be using eor off
Movement actually contributes a lot more to aim then you think it’s not just camera movement that makes up your aim but mastering both of these qualities will make your edits and aiming way better rather just doing one, this video is a perfect example of how you should move your camera s well as move at the same time
V. i switched to edit on release off about a year ago and my fighting has become 100x better than when it was on.
ong im with u bro
I am with you. All these noobies use it . 😂 However you can easily spam your edits with it off
@@yt_babaplays exactly
@@yt_babaplays I’d rather take a good peak and hit for max instead of taking a shitty peak because of edit on release and take dmg
@@RuhanWyd I know . Litteraly epic hates us controller players
List of some Eu/Na pros useing EOR On:
Bugha, Acorn, Stretch, Jamper, Arkham, epikwhale, nosh, polarized, jivan, setty, edison, cented, peterbot, tahi, oliverog, muzz (maybe not currently?), okis, andy, bizzle, mero, Juu, lawrence
Some of them also switch sometimes to off.
Imo its equal.
I’ve actually gotten faster with it off but people don’t want to commit that’s why they don’t see the real results. Try it for a week and trust me it’s worth it. Maybe a bit more than a week but after a week u will already be insane on it
True, if you actually want to try need to give it at least a week.
And do a lot of edit courses for warm up to build some muscle memory if it feels too hard.
@@ClipBot_2EC yessir
yeah same. took me a few days to get used to it and now i can do everything i did before again. just a lot of 1v1s to get timing down etc. very good imo. i can also now switch back and forth if i want to edit fast or i can turn it off to be more slow and controlled. kinda like pxlarized
Faster is crazy
Please help wich button do.i use to comfirm
Vizeloo: top corner edit and get a good angle. Aimlabs: I feel betrayed
Cringe
I have bin playing fn since season 2 it's actually crazy the to see the knew mettas that were right in front of our faces
You can move to the side and point your crosshairs on the middle window so you don’t have to move.
It will not count as an edit
@@Anonymous-411 how
holding the button on the release left the chat💀
aint no one uses that lmao
@@XzilleratedI do
Eor off just feels more satisfying
Man the upmost respect thank you for being honest 👍🏼😎
So, I use it on kbm and I have just found better angles to do certain edits to where I’m protected. I agree with what you’re saying but there’s also good angles and ways to play with EOR
what’s eor
@@cogulad1067 edit on release
Edit on release.
Better angles with it off
@@renelol8103 most of the time there will be but have fun clicking that extra button.
It takes 0.1 seconds to move your camera back.
It takes 0.2 Seconds for the opponent to react and 0.5+ to pull out their shotgun
Good advice😊
with it off, you can also flip ramps and cones which is very useful when trying to back out of a fight or make space to heal
u can hold on it
You missed the point doofus
thats not the point
This is what I've been waiting for.
Plenty of people tell me EOR on is better than it off and I keep telling them if you can perfect EOR off it is the META.
I'm also an EOR on player myself btw.
Plot twist: while you are holding the edit they will take your wall since its one shoot(only wood) when you just edit it
You are completely right
This was the video that made me switch to edit on release off and get my first wager earnings
It is possible just stand further away from the wall (in the middle of your floor) and edit from the corners , so if you have to jump edit from the bottom corner or each square and edit as you jump reset and window it as the look up to shoot you one pump them
If you already are in the right place you dont have to worry about that but understand how it can be hard to master that
This actually makes sense
Best advice
I’ve never used confirm edit on release just because I’m so used to spamming my edit key whenever I build
its a bad habit if u didnt spam u can be more presice
plot twist you develope elite crosshairs control and maneuver ur camera angel properly
Most pros have it on doe. There are a couple with it off. The point is good but there is a way around that problem while still having edit on release.
wrong most have it off
@@Zyxieee im correct. I see so many pros with it on. I always look at newest settings
Cheer~~~establish the truth or correctness of (something previously believed, suspected, or feared to be the case).😊
first, u can start the corner edit up to down (opposite of what u did) and u will still have a good angle, second, u can make a window while already behind cover
A way I like to fix that is with confirm edit on release edit while moving towards the designated set up position like for example editing the window as you go into the corner to take a left peak
Peterbot does fast edits and still one of the best fighters in the world rn with edit on release on
You can change confirm to left trigger while editing to still go fast
With EOR off its more precise and better crosshair placement so you can transition into more edits easier. It just takes time to get used to
Big boy beard Vizeloo ❤
Thank you
Guys this is true, Today i tried edit on release off I was very bad at first but once i got the hang of it i started edit coursing and doing piece control all in one day. (I used his 0 delay map)
I’ve never even heard to confirm edit, I’ve always had it on and just thought I was slow at editing, but I could get nasty right hand window peak headshots
u can still do window edits with it on it called moving to the side
The second one was kinda dumb but the first one is kinda important
The video I needed, thank you so much, I'll keep it Off
Dont do that actually if you hold the key you can still go in a good position
By the time you have the right angle the player took your wall and full boxed you
It’s good to edit with confirm on release off, but for the record with confirm on release you can place your crosshair between the tiles to look at your opponent and your edit won’t mess up
Yh u got good advice
When i’m talking about different edits from this like a quad edit it’s so much better when it’s on
Not really, edits are faster when you confirm them thats why literally every pro uses it
@@RedGodlol there are many people who faster than pros who use EOR (example: Ld), pros don't use EOR because they think it gives a bad crosshair placement and edit delay but it's not the cause in my opinion
so hard to go back to not using it when you’ve had it on for this long tho
Just use it on creative but I'd recommend to turn it off in tournaments
i mean with good momentum and timing you can do what you showed with edit on release. release the edit button and flick down at the same moment
If you’re good with double movement binds you edit way faster than confirm on release
Its really a preference, people who play with it off are usually the chapter 1 sweats
Here’s my rebuttal, instead of looking the same way turn your head while editing so you do make a safe edit and for the first one just get better aim
I've literally mastered this lol
As long as ur good enough at aiming it shouldnt matter
It’s called maybe moving your eyes to where the enemy is while ur cross hair is edging
Good vid
As long as you hold R2bor whatever button you use to select your edit it won’t go threw until you let go
Yeh then you'll just select the bottom edit tile when you try to adjust your cross hair 🤦♀️
you can do both of that with confirm edit on you jump and then edit the top which will also give you the same croshair placement also you can move to the side then edit the window simple you either put more effort or be smart
So smooth like a controller even tho it’s kbm
My issue is that my dumb ass brain is not gonna be able to press a extra confirm key on MnK 😂😂
After the 3 squares on that edit just let go off your mouse button move crosshair to middle and let go on edit button
All you have to do is continue holding the button or key until are at a good angle
People dislike EOR off because, they've heard either from the get-go or long time ago that EOR is superior and have been using it since, then when they switch to EOR off they play & edit like it's EOR. EOR off is slower, better for piece control, crosshair placement etc.
I'm a fortnite coach and yes this is true but this will mainly be better for controller players sense its a lot easier and you have to confirm the edit anyways but pros use edit on release so they can fight better. For example: trying to run away from a opponent but if you have to confirm the edit this slows you down. That's why pros use it and makes your gameplay smoother.
I feel you 💀
Plot twist: don’t release until you’re in the position you want
thats impossible if you want to do a top right corner edit like he did. it messes up your crosshair so you're staring at the ceiling
i do see the cons of it being on, but i also see cons of it being off
Also its personal preference, there is no "better" settings (in game mechanics), other than turbo build on, so just find what works for you
There is some merit to this but you can easily do window edit right peek with confirm on release on
I might be wrong but i think its easier to take highground with eor cause it is gonna be easier to do retakes
Bro i rather it bc ever since i practiced with edit on release my flicks have been crazy
You can actually hold the edit the open ur inventory and then it turns into edit on release
You can use editnon release and still go over tiles just hit the other direction
Ueah but with comirfmed edit you cam still wait until you let go of your button.
Secret: its actually faster when you confirm your edits because you dont have to wait for delay of your finger getting off the trigger.
If u hold left mouse button down and then make sure ur crosshair is on the opponent before letting go. It’s the exact same thing
no its not. you just dont understand it.if you're doing a peak like this, you cannot look at your opponent and then let go. the tiles will be messed up.
PLOT TWIST he pickaxes the wall as you spend 30 seconds repositioning yourself 😢
And this is why i use confirm edit with release off
With it on u can do the same thing by holding down the r2 button to get good angle😊😊
what action is under your r2 button?
SONG : tecanto dizzy zero
You could still edit fast with it off but you just have to get used to it
THATS THE ONLY BENIFIT FOR EDIT ON RELEASE OFF
Just use double edit binds, when I used to play fortnite (ps4 controller), I'd play double claw with X as my edit bind, right bumper as my select, and right d pad as confirm. Could always do edits liks turning cones invisible while floating in the air on Texas ping before they added central servers.
Keeping it on!

I've been playing fortnite since ce it came available to people who didn't have save the world. I've never used confirm edit on release just because it feels too weird. I never like not being able to place myself accordingly before confirming. I will say, though, I do miss being able to see people straight through my wals
This is more of a controller issue then a pc issue because if your using a mouse you will rarely have a problem like this and you can just angle yourself correctly
No aslong as you don't let go of RT/R2/ whatever you use, u can line it up
Don't worry, you can even fight better with comfort edit on release, bugha is also a conform edit on release player.
it really just depends on your playstyle
I use both, if you reset first even an unedited piece it works like normal
??
Fun fact: EOR is not only worse for crosshair placement but also slower fo an individual edit. You can press a and then b almost instantly after the other. Your bodies ability to push down and then release will inherently be slower than that. Its obviously incredibly negligible and EOR offers far more consistency due to entirely removing an input.
Additional fun fact, i would use EOR if they added reset on release for controller. They originally had edit on release but you still had to confirm resets which made gameplay clunky and incosistent. They now have 1 click reset which is still clunky. Youre in a box you own and the opponent throws a ramp on your face. With 1 click reset you would edit out. Reset the wall and then edit a window. 3 edits and making the wall incredibly weak. With confirm edit you edit out and then redit, reset and select window to edit and then confirm. Resulting in 2 edits maintaining more wall integrity. It also messes with cone flips as you have to edit the cone 3 times. A simple reset on release instead of one click reset would fix this.
I’m an “OG” so I need as much speed as I can get.
I was good with it on and the window u can edit and get a good angel it’s personal preference
I use confirm edit on release and I never had these problems
