A Very Special Starbucks: The Starbucks Reserve Roastery in Seattle

- After walking in Seattle after a wonderful buffet and in need of coffee, we found ourselves at the Starbucks Reserved Roastery. A very special Starbucks indeed as there are only 4 Reserved Roasteries in the world. Luckily, we came across one of them in Seattle. The others ones are in New York, Milan, and Shanghai.
A fantastic and unique experience, we sample various varieties of quality coffees and amazing foods and desserts. Lots of things to try and indulge. If you are visiting the area, you might hear about the original Starbucks by Pike Place Market. Skip it that and make a detour over to the Roastery! A wonderful visit and worth the while to spend some time here either as a tourist and just enjoying the afternoon with a cocktail or wine.

That is absolutely huge starbuck roastery, one of a kind..nice atmosphere. How I miss Seattle..home of the famous Starbuck coffee
Great to watch. Thanks for bringing us on your adventures, 🌺
The Margarita pizza and egg plant one look like some paintings, lol
Hey Andy, gosh such a busy week with work :-) Couldn't check the comments till now! :-)
So amazing
What a vibrant and sparkling video experience, Tim! Thank you so very much. I really appreciate and enjoy your personality and ability to showcase such incredible venues. Take good care!
Thanks again S L again, just having fun and makes the outings more interesting to be able to share it. Thank you again for connecting!
I'm going to check this place out next time
Hi Ron, hope you're doing well. This was a nice find; someone recommend this place to us. Very unique (but expensive) :-)
Great video - food and coffee looks great!
I actually have a coffee in my hand as I type this 😆
I was at the Starbucks Reserve Roastery in Manhattan/Chelsea a couple weeks ago. I think it might be bigger. They're cool. I'm waiting for Starbucks to open one in my part of the world (Los Angeles/San Fernando Valley). Starbucks, get working on that.
Wow! What a great-looking place! Very fun...
Thanks again Rick!
How could I forget?
Hi, Tim!
😋😉😃😁😘😍🤗
Thanks for ANOTHER treat filled video!
You're the best!
With much admiration,
Your NUMBER ONE fan!
Thanks again Regina :-)
WOW! Now that's a Starbucks!! It's super grand!
Hey Kim and James, hope things are going well. Too much caffeine there :-)
I am going to Seattle in October 2022 and this is one of my first must-go places
The Roastery is quite a nice experience. Definitely worth the visit
Even though I don't drink coffee or alcohol, this place has a lot to offer. I was wowed by the salmon pizza. Everything looked so good. Their desserts look scrumptious. Thanks for letting me tag along!
Thanks so much for reaching out Mary! I was quote surprise with Starbucks offering some much more other than coffee and sandwiches -- it was a fun afternoon :-) Thank you again!
And I was wowed by theirs Margarita and Zukini pizzas and everything Vegan Vegetarian what was on display, including coffee.
@@TimLeeLetsGo It was like the tabernacle dome of coffee...
Wow! Thanks for sharing this visit! I’ll have to check out that roastery!
Hi again L. Tiangco, we just kinda stumbled on to the place and what a nice surprise -- definitely worth a visit :-)
That looks like it should be in the airport. Cool video 😎
Thanks Alicia :-)
Enjoyed. You're starting to develop a signature outro: "Until we see each other again..." It fits you.
Hey Nonduality - hope things are well on the east coast. Thanks for the comment; I hadn't been conscious of that but I guess it's something I can stick with :-)
Absolutely beautiful and jaw dropping. Didn’t know Starbucks can be that huge and extraordinary. You are indeed one lucky bro. Our Starbucks here are pretty basic and small. Eye opening indeed for me. Thanks for sharing.
Hello again yinsing. It was kinda by chance that Lois and I came across this place; we met someone who recommended the roastery and we thought we'd give it a try.
Thank you Tim. When I go to Seattle some day. I will go there after Saltys
Hey Debbie, that would be a perfect choice as one may need some coffee after that meal :-)
I’m not big on coffee but the bread and pastries and all the food looks excellent.
Hi Sally, hope you're doing well. It was too back that we just came from the buffet, otherwise we would have tried some of the pizzas and more desserts. Instead of coffee, a glass of wine might be nice too; I was surprised to see a bar in a Starbucks :-)
So fun watching this video. I live in Manila but I’m from Seattle. Miss home a lot this made me feel better 🤙🏽
That's awesome, the best places on the globe :-)
You were probably up late that night due to all the caffeine-LOL! Good video!
Hello again Kim. I do tend to over do it with coffee in day to day work, Struggling a bit with it as I'm trying to get off the 7-8 cups a day habit. Struggling at the moment :-)
Hello Tim. I found your channel, as you follow Dale Calder, whom I adore. Loved this video. I have been there, and it's amazing! The roast coffee bean aroma permeates the entire interior. Sending greetings and best wishes from the Washington, D.C. region.
Hey Rogers Fuller, thanks for reaching out! Really like Dale's channel as well; kinda been dreaming of building a cabin from his influence 🙂. I was having lunch with a friend in Seattle and someone suggested to head over to the Roastery and it was such a nice find... expensive though🙂. Thanks again and greetings from Vancouver!
Hi Tim, what's better than a buffet? Going on to more food and what looked like coffee heaven ! I love the smell of coffee, almost more than the taste, I could live there!
Hey Denise, I recall Australia has some of the nicest cafes! We tend to drink a lot of drip coffee here. Though I much prefer an espresso style drink; even better with a chocolate lamington :-P
@@TimLeeLetsGo Hi there Tim, yes so true, nothing like a good Aussie lamington. I do remember the endless cup of coffee in Canada and the US, but I also remember having very good drip coffee in NY....
Awesome video!!!
Thanks again Tony! The video upload was slightly corrupted and had to upload again. Thanks so much :-)
Great one Tim! Eating tacos watching!
Hey CJ! I could certainly go for some right now!
wow lots of coffee
Hey Claire, we had more than our fair share for the day :-)
They should do one of these in Vegas
I really enjoyed this Tim. Great job. I felt good enough to go out tonight, we went to a steakhouse. Everything was delicious. I had a desert then ordered another to take home. Im awful. Lol
Gonna nickname you martini face. 😀
That's awesome Diane! Nothing beats a nice juicy steak dinner! Well, maybe a nice steak dinner with a second dessert ;-) LoL, I totally didn't realize I had something on my chin until long after :-)
Thank You very much for this discovery, Tim. ...In Rio de Janeiro there is a chocolatier - coffee institution with more than the century of history. I can not recollect its name at the moment, but the atmosphere and spacious ambience are very similar to this Starbucks in Seattle... Thank You very much again, Tim🌛🏊♂️✈
Hi Petr, it's always interesting to hear about your worldly travels! So many exciting places and unique experiences that you must have had. Pretty amazing 😃
@@TimLeeLetsGo Yes, Tim. There was the time once upon the time...
I watched it the first time you uploaded it but I guess you had to take it down..but yeah I remember this place..it was super hard finding parking lol..i don't remember them having this much food when I went..then again it was super late when I went..I thought you grew a goatee for a second Tim...thanks for sharing =)
Thanks David, this was the first time an upload was corrupted... Yeah, there doesn't seem to be much parking there and what's available is expensive! I totally didn't realize I had that spot on my chin till I got home (6 hours later) :-)
Always wait a new video from you mr Tim
Thanks you Rena!
@@TimLeeLetsGo youre welcome mr.. GBU always..Amen..
Good vid! Which I’m searching for content of the coffeee thanks
Thank you so much.. just having fun spending a day at Starbucks :-)
coffee martini!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm jealous I want to go there so bad
Hey Larry, we didn't expect to come here; but it was a pleasant find. Give it a visit if you're around the area!
Thanks for the video Tim..what the name in the menu , 3 type of coffee that you had ordered? How much?
Thank you so much and that was a while ago. I suspect the prices would have changed significantly.😉
cuty at 6:40 ))
👍🙂
I guess the trend is beards, but if one is a server they should wear a net to prevent any falling keratin onto the food!
Hey Joseph, I did notice that as well. It seems there is a beard trend in Seattle as most of the servers had beards.
Elliott said there's only for Starbucks reserves in the world but isn't there one in Vancouver as well? But I know the one we have here is not as big
Hey Jimmy, these are the roasters and concept store that feed into the Starbucks Reserve stores. I think there more food and drink items there... I've heard there were a few Starbucks Reserve places around here as well.
Nice video, what equipment did u use to shoot your video?
Hi again SimpleLife D. I used to use my cell phone, but I've updated to a DJI Osmo Pocket for this particular video. I still use my phone sometimes.
I'm glad you got to check out that part of Cap Hill! I can't go in the Roastery (smells too strongly of coffee for me) but my coffee friends love it. (And here's hoping you were able to check out Qin or Meaty Johnson's since they're so close! Or that new onigiri pop-up in Melrose I still haven't visited. And I'm glad you got to go to Goldfinch!)
Hi Jess, thank you again for recommending the Goldfinch Tavern -- Lois and I just loved it. I didn't know Starbucks was in capital hill! I saw you have a video on Capital hill and checking it out! Have you visited any places recently?
I was at Meaty Johnson's and Dacha Diner recently! So excited to go back to both, but Dacha has epic blintzes so that particularly makes me happy. And Shug's has a really lovely seasonal sundae! (I just got back from some travel, so new Seattle stuff should go up later this week, health permitting.) Is there anything you're looking for in Seattle?
We have. Two in Kuwait
Hey Fahad, thanks for taking the time to reach out all the way from Kuwait!
Tim Lee anytime
A Coffee Martini?
Hmm...
Very interesting.
🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔
You make that sandwich sound and look so good.
I need Smell-O-Vision quick!
👃🏾👃🏾👃🏾👃🏾👃🏾👃🏾👃🏾👃🏾
What's the average price for the sampler of coffee the two of you (Hi again, Lois!) enjoyed?
Looks yummy.
Hey Regina -- the food and drinks were quite tasty, but they were not cheap. I think the dessert was about 9 or 10 dollars and the coffee sampler was about $15. Still enjoyable though; but pricey :-)
Can't find parking so I left.....
I can totally relate! I was the driver for out group and not being native to the city, the roads/traffic and especially parking was so frustrating and tiring!
First!!
Thanks so much :-)
spelling! it's RESERVE NOT RESERVED HAHAHAHA! just a help!
Thank you Cafe Nature! Much appreciated...many typos everywhere and glad we've corrected another one😃
How are you not 300 pounds???🤣🤣🤣
I used to support Starbucks but after I saw the HBO documentary on how much this company underpay the coffee growers are pathetic. Obviously, this is the reason why Starbucks are so successful while the origin workers suffers.
Your right. I learned to make my own special coffees and and cold brew.
Thanks Stephanie! I need to see the documentary. I always thought they were quite socially responsible, but will need to check it out.
So amazing
