WeHo Pride 2024 takes over West Hollywood

- WeHo Pride is the City of West Hollywood’s annual LGBTQ+ Pride celebration. For decades, West Hollywood has been home to one of the largest annual Pride celebrations in the world, drawing hundreds of thousands of people each June.
Thousands will gather in West Hollywood for WeHo Pride Weekend taking place from Friday, May 31 through Sunday, June 2 with OUTLOUD at WeHo Pride, the WeHo Pride Street Fair, the Women's Freedom Festival and Dyke March, WeHo Pride Parade, and much more!
The parade kicks off at 12:30 PM at N. Crescent Heights Boulevard, making its way west along Santa Monica Boulevard to North San Vicente Boulevard in the City’s Rainbow District.
The WeHo Pride Parade is an imaginative and colorful tradition that embraces LGBTQ+ representation, inclusion, and progress. Full of music, dancing, festive floats, vibrant marching contingents, and creative flair, the event celebrates LGBTQ+ people and their contributions to community and culture.

Except it doesn’t. I have been to quite a few pride festivals and all I ever see is a parade, food and dancing. I’m sure there are inappropriate things that have happened but they are incredibly rare.
It's not all about sex, it's about celebrating who you are, or your family, friends and neighbors.
I don't have a problem with celebrating same sex love and the glamorization of gay sex. I don't agree with encouragement of genital mutilation for youth. And I absolutely agree that kids should not be exposed to it whether or not their parents are gay or straight.
